Not to be an argumentative pain in the ass, but none of the Aneros devices are intended to be thrust in and out of your body. Instead, they are designed to move a minuscule amount while cradling the prostate. There are double-ended strap-on dildoes that are "abstract" in that they are purely cylindrical at each end.

Even a cigar is considered phallic so I don't know how you're going to avoid the inevitable. For my money, the Vixen Double senior size in a SpareParts harness is the way to go.

I saw the Fun Factory ShareXS at a trade show last month and found it rather interesting. At 4 inches long with a tip thickness of 1.3" it's something different in area of strapless pegging toys. The business end of the ShareXS might be considered phallic in the abstract but it's far cry from the anatomical representation of a penis that most of these devices are. It looks more like a large finger to me. Check it out.

I took a good look at the Share XS and bought the standard Share instead. The XS would only penetrate about 3 inches when body-to-body losses are figured in. I know, many men have their prostate gland located less than 3 inches from the anus, so it might work for them.

Many of the Web reviews of the XS complained about its shortness. Another strike against it is the female side. My wife objected to the feel of the Share "bulb" so much that I had to cut it off. All FunFactory Share models have the same size bulb.

I checked a handful of the reviews out there and while I did find one that listed many of your same concerns, the rest seemed to indicate that it would make a good first-timer's device and noted as well that it is not penis shaped. On account of this I figured that it might be up TheGrowningNumber's alley! In addition to that I seemed to recall that the Japanese pegging video that we've all admired so much features a far smaller butt plug being used to great advantage. So like many things it may come down to technique more than anything else. That said, it would seem that the more similar in size two people are....the better, for purposes of using the ShareXS, particularly when it comes to the on-all-fours position. If there is a fair size discrepancy between two partners (in height) it would almost certainly limit the amount of penetration that is possible with this product. (Elevating the pelvis of the receiver might be a workaround though).
