Since 4 years ago, I'm building my own fucking machines. I started with an Inkjet printer to jerk off my sex. Then improved it until to have the perfect machine : compact, ability to vary the stroke from 0 to 18 cm at any time when being penetrated, strong vibro include, powerful 180 Watts, double-sided, easy to mount, many color available, nice wooden box protecting the beast ! ... Please have a look at https://lm42p.com

Probably way too late, but I was always curious about getting one and never could excuse myself spending a lot.
But recently I noticed that quality machines actually don't cost that much.

I mean you can find good ones.
Let's just say I spent a lot of time researching (more than I would like to admit).

Then I wrote a guide, even comparison chart of best machines based on power, usability, price..etc...

Here you go, hope it helps and saves time to some people.

Beautiful writeup. I actually looked into this subject recently. I went through an incredibly similar thought process to you, and reached near identical conclusions.

I was at first amazed to see that quality machines are now around 350-500 USD. Then I went into a deep dive investigating all of the major options. I looked at: thrust length, speed in RPM, torque, adjustability, stability, build quality, and noise levels. I also looked at user reviews and experiences, support, warranties, customer service, and company credibility.

I came to the same conclusion you did: The Hismith Premium machine usually retailing for 400 USD is the clear frontrunner. 6 inches of thrust, 240 RPMs, 1/10 HP, fully adjustable, strong build quality (but prone to many units with defects, and motor failures), very stable, and very quiet. The customer service seems mostly good, as far as I can tell. They are slow to respond, but most users say they have honored the warranty well, and sent replacement models. Users speak about it as a lifechanging tool. Pretty enticing.

Something that really concerned me (as opposed to everything else that looked great with that model and company) is that while 80% of the reviews are glowing, literally 50% of the reviews mention needing to invoke the warranty to get replacement parts, or missing parts, or a new motor, etc. Some were DOA. Some died after 2 weeks. So from what I can see, this company is sort of opting for a cheaper build and QA process, but then investing more in warranty servicing as a result, for their meta business strategy.

I actually went ahead and ordered one last week from Hismith. I got the expedited shipping option for 4 days, and it did get there all the way from HongKong within 6 (counting 2 weekend days), so pretty good. Honestly, this company sort of has a "tricky Chinese" feel to it... there are little gotcha's here or there which are Buyer Bewares, and talking to the staff working the website feels like talking to a serial liar. But I still feel good about it so far. I did have an exchange with customer service to clear up stuff related to charges, and they were great on the other hand.

The unit I received is in full working order. It went together in 30 minutes, and was well sealed, with only a tiny spec of rust on a non-friction part. According to the manual, the motor runs hot, but in the 20 minutes I let it idle, it seemed fine, no excess heat on the motor casing. The machine indeed is quite quiet. It is completely drowned out by a box fan, while it is running at 70% speed, and can't be heard at all just outside the door.

Just have to work myself up to being arroused enough for the experience! I think that shouldn't take but a day or two of thinking about it! The dildo it came with is a hair girthier than the one I have already, so I will have to see how my butt likes it, before I start the show (slowly!).

I will review my experiences here when I have had some time with the machine. I think many forum users here would love something like this. Many Hismith users report things I only see paralleled in the Aneros community... 10 orgasms in half an hour, and very similar sounding to the Prostate variety we know about here. Pure states of joy and abandon only terminated hours later due to exhaustion. Crosses fingers!

I think you are completely on to something with the adoption bellcurve you presented. I think this is the period where people have not yet realized that these things are suddenly of attainable price at high qualities. I think many people would order one if they knew, and machines like this are probably going to permeate the erotic culture very shortly and possibly even change the way some people view sensual experiences.

Ah, about Hismith, I had the same feel in the beginning. But reading through hundreds of reviews eased my mind...and yeah, they are overseas - but communication still was good and fast. Even though I think there is a little language barier.

I am also testing things and def feeling like f-machines are up to something...next free hands level experience.

About concerns (breaking down) you'll see it mentioned everywhere. That's the biggest fear people have and people who comment I think are most likely to leave review when they face that kind of issue and see it solved well (cuz that's a nightmare situation if it is not solved well...you end up with piece of junk you paid substantial money from).

Curious to hear your update on using that bad boy.

INteresting....it's hard to believe that your wife likes it, though. I suppose I can understand the kink factor but how can the numbing repetitiveness compete with a real person fucking her?

From my own use, I would surmise... :

-It does exactly what you ask it to. Goes as fast or as slow as you want, by turning a dial
-hits the same spots with precision, meaning that when you are at that "keep going, just like that, right there!" time, it does what it is told
-does not get tired
-relentless force
-can be rougher than a person could, if you need that at the time

-----------------

Negatives:

-doesn't kiss you or tell you that you are loved
-lacks warmth
-lacks sympathetic response

-won't make you breakfast in the morning
-doesn't pretend to dance like Gene Kelly whenever it rains
-hard to buy well fitted top hats for

But seriously, if anyone is considering getting a machine to use regularly then buy a silicone dildo to go with it. Not every type of toy is safe, the only burning sensation should be pleasurable friction.

@onkizomba Great article, those comparisons could save people a LOT of time. Even if you did create an account just to plug it 😛
