Aneros room

I like the idea! Like you, my wife and I had been sleeping in separate bedrooms for a while. I learned Aneros and continued my sessions in private (and I needed the privacy to make progress). Well, after about five months, I have been re-wired and we recently have bought a new mattress. I 'moved-back-in' with my wife. Sometimes, both of our snoring drives one or the other crazy and out of the bedroom but I like the "cuddle time" and other delights! I've never had a really noisy Aneros session, but extra insulation sounds great. Good luck with you new home!

Man my wife would think I'm leaving her if I didnt sleep with her haha I cant even find time for a session and your buidling an aneros room. I'm jealous

Temperature control for the a/c. Remote controls for ceiling fan and lighting. Well positioned mirrors and camera stand to capture videos (very educational to improve your sense of sequence and timing.) Personal bath with a bidet and an 'instant water heater.'

Wow @fred garvin ! You will get the best of all worlds! Privacy at will and companionship when needed. For me, I have to do my sessions in the basement TV room only after my better half has gone to bed. Good for you!

glad you made a thread about this topic. Please keep us posted how your project works out eventually. If I had this opportunity, the most important things for me would be:

• mirrors and a tv (like @rook suggested)
• wireless headphones
• a drawer (maybe lockable) next to the bed where you have easy and fast access to your toys (& lubes) and a place to dispose them temporarily, when you change the model (I do that a lot and can just lay them on an old newspaper/towel like a hobo)

Thanks for the input. I've had the pleasure of knowing Aneros for over ten years and my sessions can be very noisy. I have the ability to video sessions using a movable tripod. The mirrors may be difficult as the closet will be walk in as opposed to sliding mirrored closet doors. I love the idea of wireless headphones but I thrash around a lot and I don't see how headphones will stay on my head. Great idea for remote lighting and fan. I am considering a toilet seat with the built in washing features too. Has anyone had experience with them?

Since my bathroom is super small, I could connect the sprayer to the water-connection of the sink. These sprayers are rather cheap compared to toilet seats with this feature.

I love the idea of wireless headphones but I thrash around a lot and I don't see how headphones will stay on my head.

The old Aneros Forum had an extensive thread on freestanding bidets. Several high-tech toilet seats were also in that thread with various remote controls. I've been unable to find any of those old posts. iirc the time frame was somewhere between 2010 and 2013.

Several of the guys in the Forum have done their own plumbing and electrical for the toilet seats and there are comments regarding Brand names and models. (Toto etc.) and DIY suggestions. Warm water was a plus on one of those posts. 🙂

One of my golf buds has a Japanese toilet seat with "memory" programmable for at least two different users. I've neither tried it or seen it in action; however, the stories are pretty good --lol--

I've settled on a shower-shot as my toilet is just outside my shower. The valving lets me preset the flow to the 'Muslim Bidet nozzle.' One caution, the shower plumbing threads in the U.S. are different from those in Europe and the mid-East.

Update on Aneros Room Project.

Thanks for the suggestions. The new home should be ready my next month and I'm looking forward to continuing the journey. Technology has changed since I started planning the perfect Aneros room. I'm now considering incorporating Alexa into sessions via room design.. Smart lighting and temperature control of course but who knows what the future will bring. Still haven't decided which lighting control system to use (if any) but will start with some smart lighting. I took Unfug's tip and started using wireless headphones. Great idea! Comfortable and very discreet.

So far I have:
1 Extra sound insulation in my room along with a solid core door with bedroom lock.
2 Cat 6A high speed network cable for possible 4k video. Local cable co has gigabit speed available.
3 Private shower and bath. Includes warm water Bidet toilet seat with warm air drying and heated seat.
4 In-ceiling dimmable LED can lighting.
5 New adjustable memory foam queen bed with massage. I was surprised how much I enjoyed Tempur-pedic's massage It's very adjustable and I was tickled in a good way while testing out on the showroom floor. The others brands, not so much.
6 Samsung GearVR headset for mediocre VR, but very nice lower resolution porn. I now use the Skybox app to access network media. It stutters on high res files with my current WIFI setup.
7 Good carpet with memory foam pad for who knows what's possible.

The new home is very private too. I consider myself very fortunate. The flip side is my spouse will now be working from home so my private daytime sessions will be reduced tremendously. I seem to have better sessions in the mornings. I will now be indulging mostly late night.

Still haven't figured out..

1 Flat panel monitor. I remember years ago LCD monitors could cause headaches for some. Definitely a no no if still true.
2 NAS or best way to access digital media on my networked PC. I'm used to Windows files but open to better options. I'm considering a PC that could handle Oculus VR porn but don't want to get too wired up. I have a lot of material in both HD and lower res files. I currently access them through a Windows 7 laptop and a wireless keyboard. I want the ability for slow motion and zoom with the video files.
3 Alexa, Google home or other control unit for lighting, temp, and media control. Any system rise to the top for us? Anyone know of a voice control that will open Windows media files? Media players with voice control could be cool. Concerned sounds made during s session could confuse Alexa. Hee hee

4 Any other ideas from you guys? Thanks. Who knows, maybe an Aneros room will be a new home builders option in the future.

Funny story while shopping for mattresses my wife was laughing so hard when she saw me bucking my hips while testing a mattress. I explained I was doing the same movement when I flip over on my side, but without actually flipping. Can't imagine what she would say if she saw one of my sessions!

Hey @fred garvin, what about producing your own porn? The GoPro Hero 6 can be started and stopped via voice command. Together with an adjustable wall mount ... 😎

Good one. I've been recording my sessions for a long time using a fixed tripod. Long periods of quite bliss are great live, not so great on video. I've wished many times for voice controlled recording just to capture the hottest times. I would have to figure out a explanation for a wall mount. My wife would ask "why in the hell would you do something like that?" The actual answer would be difficult to explain.

@fred garvin, be more inventive. You only need a highly magnetic plate behind a wall picture. You put aside the picture, adjust your wall mount, and "Action!" Haha, of course your tripod helps you out as well and is in much less need of explanation. 😉 Sorry, didn't reflect about your wife for a second. Having recorded my own vocalizations recently may have pushed my fantasy. 😀
P.S. Be careful with your wireless setup, if you don't want your neighbourhood to watch your activities. 😮
