Hi. I was wondering what the difference, if any, was between the Aneros MGX vs. nJoy Pure Wand? Does anyone own both? Comparisons to help in buying decision? Thanks!
egervari,
I don't own any of the nJoy products, but have viewed them online. It is not really possible to compare the wand device and the Aneros massagers because they were designed with two distinctly different design approaches for functional usage. The wand is designed for active manual manipulation by hand either by oneself or a partner. The Aneros is designed to be manipulated by ones own anal sphincter muscles, without using ones hands (hands free orgasms). It is an apples vs. oranges comparison, not really fair to either product.
I believe you need to analyze further your goals/intents before purchasing any sex toy, read up and research it well to see if it has a chance of serving your desired purposes and anticipated situations (solo or with a partner). There is a tremendous amount of novelty sex toys/junk on the market, of dubious design and quality of materials. It would appear that the nJoy products are well made, but their usage/function differs from the Aneros product line.
This probably doesn't really satisfy you your inquiry, but you might get a better sense of the Aneros product by reading the "Description" tab (under The Aneros) on the left hand side of this web page. I hope this helps.
rumel is pretty much right on.
As an owner of the complete product lines from both companies, I can give some feedback.
The njoy pure wand is a work of art, comes in elegant packaging, and is perfectly smooth. It has two very different sizes, with the small side being about MGX size, and the large side being much larger than a progasm - I suspect it is only intended for vaginal penetration. The njoy products are pure steel, so they conduct heat nicely, which means they can be cold (or hot) if you desire and that can be either a good or bad feeling depending on your taste.
The pure wand is very maneuverable, and is great fun if you have a partner wanting to give you pleasure, while not feeling that the aneros makes them no longer needed in the equation.
For solo play, I feel that the MGX is superior, but the njoy can be fun for variety from time to time.
if you are considering the pure wand, I would skip it and go for the fun wand, since you get the same "small" side, and you get a very interesting alternate end designed for some good feelings. With the right positioning, the fun wand can be moved by contractions like an MGX, and while the njoy is not as mobile as the MGX, it is pleasant.
I couldn't find any decent discussion of these products before I purchased them pretty much blind. All in all, they are interesting, but if you are only going to get one, go for the MGX. If you are getting two, think about a Progasm as #2, and then the njoy as the #3 (in my opinion).
Hope this helps.
Scorpio,
You couldn't find any decent discussion on the Aneros before purchasing it?!! This forum is filled with discussion on these products. The sticky thread entitled the Next Generation and Progasm Reviewed is devoted to it. In addition to that there are numerous threads that have discussed the features and user preferences on all of the models. The search feature can be helpful on locating them. In addition to that there are also the polls...Which Aneros Model is Best for New Users? and Which is Your Favorite Aneros?
With respect to nJoy, it is true that there isn't much on it here, but then again one wouldn't necessarily expect that. I would agree their product line is beautiful, I just recently attended a trade show where they were exhibitors and all of their products were breathtaking to look at. But as you have pointed out, their devices are more about an active (manually produced) experience. Not that I'm knocking it in the least, just that you need to know what you're getting into. As with the Crystal Wand and the other acrylic and glass G-spot/Prostate Stimulators that are out there, one should be careful to avoid overstimulating oneself. As most of these products are anatomically configured (where the internal portion is canted forward) they are capable of producing a fair amount of leverage on the prostate. In this way a great amount of force (pressure) can be transferred with very little force from ones hand. If you're considering these products, stay safe and use them responsibly.

Sorry guys, I deleted my post here because it was inappropriate of me to recommend a competing product on this site.
I enjoy both the Aneros and my NJoy butt plug (medium size). Both give me hours of enjoyment.
I hate to disagree with BMayfield but it's quite possible to use the NJoy butt plug passively in the same manner as one should use the Aneros. It moves effortlessly with a little lube and gives those muscles a thorough workout, just like my Aneros.
we need to keep our products straight.
njoy has
- wands
- plugs
this thread so far has been a bit confused between them. some authors are talking about the wands and some about the plugs. read carefully.

For sheer prostate massage enjoyment and results (and I've owned many aneros), no aneros even comes close to the pure wand. They're not even on the same planet.
Aneros NEEDS to make a wand. Pressure from aneros on the prostate is pretty light.
For you, maybe. Definetly not my experience. I think one of its downfalls is you have to manipulate it manually. After reading all the reviews, I bought one, so far I am yet to produce what others describe. Nothing that compares to what aneros has done for me so far. Its very hard to compare the 2. Maybe theres a learning curve with njoy, just like aneros took alot of training to get where I am now. There is a somewhat consistency in growth with Aneros. So far with njoy i've almost shit myself several times, and near pissed myself multiple times. I admit I need more training. For sheer prostate massage enjoyment and results (and I've owned many aneros), no aneros even comes close to the pure wand. They're not even on the same planet.
