Finding private time and a reason to be naked is always an issue for me. With the onset of winter, I have lost use of all my good hiding spots. I drain my hot tub in the spring and don't fill it up until around chirstmas, so I have been really looking forward to using the aneros in the hot tub. I thought what a better place to be relaxed then soaking in the tub.
I must say that my efforts thus far have been a bit dissapointing. I'm not really sure why.
I get a few nice feelings but after 6 or 8 tries they really haven't gone anywhere. Don't get me wrong.... it's still enjoyable but I had hoped for more.
I haven' t read a single post here on the forumn about using the aneros in the hot tub? Anyone got any experience with that?

thhn,

Here’s one thread, I recall, which talked about use of the Aneros in a hot tub, see – Using it in the shower. I’m sure you can find other instances of ‘hot tub’ references by using the ‘Search’ function.

thhn,

I am with you. While I have not used it in a hot tub, I have tried in a regular bath and as soon as I got in, everything stopped. It seems to me that it would be a great spot to really relax. Not for me.

Thhn,

I seem to remember reading a post of two on this some time back...can't remember what the thread title was though. This is a difficult one to locate with the SEARCH button, as it will bring up all the hits for the word "hot". You might want to search under the keyword "bath" as well. There have been many posts on that one over the years.

Btw. I have used the Aneros in my pool and spa (and in the bath as well). One tip that I would pass along is that an oil based lube seems to work best under these conditions. While there isn't a lot of excursion when it comes to the movement of the Aneros (the distance traveled in and out of the anal canal). There's enough that it can lead to the breakdown of some of the lubrication (if it's water-based) under these circumstances. The last time that I did this I used vaseline. Though I'm not a fan of silicone lubes in general, I would suppose that they would work quite well also.

p.s. Check out my comments in the thread that Rumel referenced as well.

Whilst a hot tub (or bath or shower) might be relaxing, I suspect the sensations of heat etc on the skin could be a distraction from the internal sensations we want to amplify. Perhaps once one is "rewired", these distractions won't matter any more.
