Hey Wally,

this post is really interesting for me. I used to have a mild case of RLS. However i had a spinal injury 3 years ago which I am still recieving treatment for.

Recently (the past month) my RLS has been getting extremely severe and i had attributed that to recent back pain. However this really makes me wonder if its not more connected to my recent purchase of my aneros which in turn has made me refrain from traditional masturbation/ejaculation.

I have been able to achieve multiple dry orgasms nearly every session recently which certainly helps with dopamine release.

im going to pay attention and report back to see if i can find some correlation between the days i have orgasms and severity of my RLS.

thanks
trip

Hey,

So this week ive been paying attention to my RLS and i found i was pretty reliably suffering at night time and actually each day seemed to get worse. There wasnt any night that i did not suffer however it started mild and ended up moderate.

yesterday i had a really great aneros session with 10+ orgasms and i found that last night my rls was almost gone. I am not sure if its because of dopamine, or if its tied to semen retention because i ejaculated but im really interested in finishing my next session without ejaculation to see the effects after that.

I will give a further update when i can.

thanks trip

I first experienced RLS in my twenties, almost forty years of it now. Some of the episodes I truly suffered. I’ve been using Aneros for about three years with the most success in the past 18 months. I don’t know when it happened but at some point I realized I hadn’t had an RLS episode since I don’t know when. Every now and then I get a subtle feeling of an episode coming on but nothing like the past. Subjectively, I would agree that Aneros and aless sessions may have decreased the frequency and intensity of my RLS episodes as I can’t think of what else could have made such a difference after all these years.

What are the chances we'll see a study validating this treatment, and widespread prescription?

Silly question. Besides, even if there were funding for a study, it would be hard to come up a placebo for the control group.....

Regardless, I'm calling this group of three conclusive, with support from the above study! Not that I'll attempt health insurance re-reimbursement for my now-considerable investment....

Hey guys,

so like I said, I waited for my next session to investigate if I had the same results concerning RLS, as I did in my previous session. This time I did not ejaculate to see if semen retention (the lingering sexual energy) was contributing to my worsening case of RLS recently.

to clarify it had been half a week or more since my last session and my RLS had been getting worse every night since my last session. In my last session i had 3 rounds of 3-5 orgasms so I tried to achieve atleast that much in my latest session. Indeed i had around 10-15 orgasms (it gets pretty hard to keep count lol) but stopped before ejaculation.

last night i suffered no RLS and i found myself still aroused all night. I am going to continue to investigate this but as it stands it seems that the study you linked is correct. Thank you Wally for bringing that to our attention, i really not sure if i would have ever figured this out otherwise.

thanks
trip

I sometimes have mild RLS. One night recently it started to come on. In response, I did some prostate massage just using kegel contractions until I felt some pleasure from it. My RLS went away. I've also had success curbing RLS by masturbating, whether to orgasm or not, as long as it felt good. One indicator of "good enough" is that it felt good enough that I wanted to clench some muscles (wherever) along the way.
