Am I close?

I have been a reader of this forum for about 2 years, reading advise on how to reach the elusive super o. I have had some good feelings but never anything close to the super orgasms that are described by the forum members. I havent been using my aneros as recommended, I use it for a week or 2 then go a month or 2 without. Now that I have more me time I have been using it about 3 to 4 times a week for a month and a half. My sessions are usually anywhere from forty-five minutes to an hour. I use to relax and try and concentrate on the movement of the aneros in my rectum, these last few night I have noticed that when i concentrate on the P tab pushing up against me I start to become very aroused, my heart starts beating a million times a minute, I start breathing faster. It gets to a point to where it almost feels like the beginning of a traditional orgasm, this sensation lasts anywhere from 30 to 40 seconds then it fades and it is hard to get there again. I feel like I am building up to something, but cant seem to keep it going. I try staying very relaxed and keep my contractions going. Anyway afterwards I am left so turned on that it is almost impossible for me not to finish off the old fashion way. What does this mean am I close, or is this only the beggining? Any advice will be appreciated.

I think you're close. Probably not trying more than 3 or so times a week and not going beyond 45 minutes or so as you are doing is best for now. The relaxation approach was what was successful for me and the involuntary contraction it seems you are describing where the massager is pulled inward pushing the P-tab firmly against your perineum is the mechanism whereby a prostate or "dry" orgasm is produced and seems to be what you're feeling the beginnings of. For me, the sensation is a deep warmth in my pelvis that flows out into my penis like an orgasm building up and finally surging out of me but before I "got there" in my journey I experienced what you are feeling, the building up but doesn't quite get all the way there.

Over time it got more and more of the way "there" for me until suddenly one night it happened and I suspect that will come in the near future for you. When you sense these good feelings coming on, try lightly tickling your nipples to amplify them. This was very helpful for me at what seems to be the stage you are at. It's very fascinating and enjoyable, isn't it?

Thanks slimjm, it sure is facinating and enjoyable. I'll just keep trying, got the hypnosession download gonna try that out see it it helps. I have read a lot about the nipple stimulation too, but never actually tried it fearing to lose focus on whats happening down there, now i guess i will try it. Thanks again.

I was months into it and going about nowhere when someone told me about tickling my nipples. I'd heard of it and never had imagined any connection either and truthfully, up until that point my nipples (so I thought) were about as sensitive and erogenous as a piece of rock. But from the first time I tried it, it was like wow, gentle bolts of electricity flowing straight to my prostate and arousing the whole dry orgasm process. As close as you already seem to be, I'd be surprised if that doesn't put you over the top.

I can't imagine a session without nipple stimulation. I get great sensations using just nipple stimulation with no aneros. I have not been able to have a nipple orgasm on my own, but when my wife does it to me, I often have a dry orgasm.
If at first you don't feel much, don't give up... give it a chance. and don't just dive right in and start twisting on the nips.... treat it like foreplay and start slow with very light touches.

I've had dry orgasms, feel just like with the Aneros in, from nipple stimulation alone. Like thhn says, it's like that teasing, gentle fun foreplay you have with your wife, just light touches and tickles.

So long you're comfortable, you should practice at 1 hour and half daily. The more the better. 45 minutes is way too short most time for beginners.

I wouldn't disagree with going longer, as hydrogen points out, so long as you're comfortable and sensations are coming. In my experience, I found that going past the point that nothing's happening in a session didn't help and only added to soreness when I was first getting started. Everyone's different though so do what works best for you.

One thing to bear in mind: if a session seems to have ended, wait a few more minutes. Sometimes there is an eye in the hurricane, and the second phase is even better.

I just had a look to determine how long I have had an Aneros device. I purchased a PS New, as it was called, from High Island Health, in December 2003. When the Helix was announced I then purchased that.
I have been using these on and off since I got them. I never really had any really exciting feelings with either of them but as I say, tried them on and off. Certainly no Super-O, if there is such a thing, is there?
A couple of years ago I started trying KSMO. I persevered with this and found this really useful. Now I use it in conjunction with an Aneros and have a really exciting time. But this is very recent. I think this is the Super-O from what I read.
Moral of the story... it can take a long time to get there.

Ruomsey, thank you for reminding me that my Journey is not the longest on this Forum! It's gotten to the point where I basically avoid this Forum now, as much as I enjoy and appreciate the "brotherhood," because I just had to put an end to the "unfulfilled expectations" cycle.

Nonetheless, I stay with it because I still find the sensations of the Aneros, and the occasionally wonderful P-Wave, to be worth the time and "effort" of the journey.

My last big milestone was an unexpected/unwanted/nonetheless notable HFWO (hands free wet orgasm) several months ago. Then, something else cool happened two nights ago...but that's another post.

Thanks to all of you for the advice. I will experiment with the nipple stimulation, and maybe adding another half an hour to my sessions. Again thank you all so much for the advice.

I haven't had a session for a long time due to my poor "mental health". I had a session yesterday. I took me FOUR hours (a snap break and 3 more lube) to get to a good state, not super-O yet.

Conclusion: it takes time, in each session as well.
