Alternative source for concentrated fish oil...

Take a look at Pharmax's "Finest Pure Fish Oil with essential oil of orange".

First, no "fishy" taste to speak of. It does have a touch of orange to it. I take it straight, by itself, with no problem.

The EPA is 1050mg and the DHA is 750mg PER TEASPOON.

By comparision, the Zone's fish oil, in liquid form, is 1800mg for the EPA and 900mg for the DHA per teaspoon.

That is the EPA and DHA comparision by teaspoon...

A 40 teaspoon bottle of Pharmax's is around $20, depending on where you get it, and it can be gotten cheaper if you purchase a case of 12. A 45 teaspoon bottle from The Zone is just a few pennies short of $80.

Granted, The Zone's has about 75% more EPA and just 20% more DHA but you are paying 400% more for fractional increases in those components. You do get 5 teaspoons more, or an additional 12%, which just is not that much...

Your weight will determine how much you need to take to get to Zane's recommended intake but I think that Pharmax's is a better value, given what we need to consume to have an impact on the MMO treasure hunt.

By the way, I know this stuff is really pure. It was recommended to me by a professional who researches this type of stuff.
