Advice on Helix classic?

Hello everyone,

Since Helix classic doesn't come with specific instructions I thought I should ask: how much is it supposed to go in? All the way to the plastic arms bar or should the last "bulge" be left out? Left by itself (muscles and such), the Helix will position itself with the last small bulbous part outside.

I haven't found this written up anywhere. It's just my observations from seven years of, luvin' my Helix-Classic.

Properly lubed and with the p-tab positioned per the Wiki (read about finding your "sweet spot"), either Helix or Eupho will find it's own depth. That depth will vary from individual to individual and from session to session. Most new Helix users are concerned since more or less of the stem may "hang outside." Once you've put it in about 3/4 of the way let it find its own position.

While earlier tools like MGX, SGX, PS-New and Maximus were positioned mostly by the sphincters and contraction of the anal canal and were driven by anal contractions, these 'advanced designs' find a position based on prostate position and engorgement and then move in response to one's abdominal pressure, breathing and rectal contractions. This is why many Helix and Eupho users tend towards the 'do nothing' approach.

Aside from padding the p-tab for comfort, I'm against any permanent mods to Helix since it will adjust to changes in your physical geometry as you muscle up.

"Bottom line" don't sweat things if the 'hangout' varies from any fotos you've seen or talk you've heard.

Hope this helps ... rook.

If you read the introductory PM I sent to you when you joined the Forum you'll see the answer to your question. Good Vibes to You !
P.S. From the Aneros WIKI Glossary

leakage - The emissions from the Cowper's gland (precum) or prostate gland (semen/prostatic fluid) due to massage or contractions.

So much information and new stuff to master in such a short time.

P.S. From the Aneros WIKI Glossary

Aw... that kinda explains it: I haven't had Cowper in years... can't say why but at one point it just stopped (without affecting the rest of the system, apparently). The other, watery and slightly whitish liquid, can be obtained through proper Kegel in regular non-A sessions. If I do that, it helps me last longer because at least in my case the accumulation of that liquid in the prostate is what sets the path to ejaculation.

@unfung:

After all this time (almost two months) of daily practice (you can see how well I'm following the advice to leave one day between sessions) only two significant things happened and I'm honest to God having a hard time telling whether it's all in my head wanting to see things or it's real; because I'm missing some of the milestones.

Out of the list I've had three times of what I think to be and undeniable sensation of leaking from the tip of the penis. It happened when I was paying attention to something else, I panicked so to speak ("Can this be true?") quickly reached for it but no liquid was present. Another one time it felt like a strange sensation of very VERY easy and light not quite pleasure but close. Nothing that I've ever felt before and, since I can't generate involuntary movements at all (can it be that I've overtrained the area during the years of Kegels?) I was resorting to very fine/light Kegels of the kind which will typically send white liquid out of the prostate; needless to say the sensation went away when looked upon. And, more important, no swelling and especially no tickling no nothing. Can it be that some the milestones can be skipped because they're not so obligatory?

Another thing worth mentioning happened when I was trying to separate the sphincter from the main PC (difficult but clearly doable, I'm half way there): since I have a strong PC it came naturally to try and produce small movements by contracting the PC so that it pushes against the p-tab! Has anyone tried this? After some work in this area, something resembling the beginning of a regular wet O started to appear and I stopped immediately because I don't want to wire myself in the wrong direction (wet Os with the Aneros), that'll defeat the purpose.

PS. My little piece of advice for rookies reading this post: if you've never played with that area before chances are you have no idea what "No internal discomfort" means in the milestones list; At least I didn't! For a month I thought is was about accepting the fact that I there is a foreign object in there and getting used to that sensation. I couldn't have been more wrong: hard as it sounds to believe that's NOT what it means; to me at least it meant no sensation of foreign object AT ALL. Yes, that's possible, it just became a part of my body. So forget the wiki for a few weeks and spend time learning muscles, nothing more and, most important, getting used to an object being there up to the point where you no longer feel its presence. In my case it helped to sleep with it and, as with many other things, it just happened by mistake: I fell asleep after a 3h session and the next morning I couldn't help but notice a clear "easiness" when it came to the presence of a foreign object in there. There's something about the muscles having to adapt/learn/remodel for the shape but some six nights of sleep helped A LOT. IMHO if you're just starting it's well worth the try.

Please re-read the opening paragraph of the Milestones a couple of times to get your answers. Your Aneros journey is not going to be bound by ego imposed artificial time restraints, it is an evolutionary process of developing proficiency. I don't know if one can really "master" such ineffable knowledge, I know it would be arrogant of me to think I have "mastered" it even after nine years of practice. Good Vibes to You !
