I've been trying to achieve this super-o for a long time. (think coming up to 7 years now i guess)

long story short, i'm contemplating whether i need a different model. I've been using the mgx and the maximus for a long time. The MGX is just not a very enjoyable experience as it just hurts in my perinium. The maximus however feels really nice... but that's just where it stays, it feels nice. No amount of kegels, of thrusting will help with achieving the super-o. Thrust me, after 7 years, i've stopped going into sessions with an expectation to receive something out of it.

I'm now contemplating if i need to switch to a Helix or other model. I'm not sure if that's going to solve the problem, but i'm now starting to think it's not the practice but the model that may not be designed for my body.

Any suggestion?

If you fancy a change. Go for the eupho. Lots more movement.

Adding a little cushioning such as folded tissue paper can solve this problem.

Perhaps it will make a difference and perhaps not. Each Aneros model does perform slightly differently from other models and some men do find that one model seems to perform markedly better for them than the others. Unfortunately the only way you will discover that model is to try them all, a fun learning adventure to be sure, but it's going to cost you some money as well. I'm sure you've read that the Aneros journey is more than 90% a mental exercise with the last >10% contributed by the device being used, So changing devices can make a small difference and the Helix SYN would be a good model to experiment with.

An Anerosession journey can be like a mini-psychedelic trip, onset/come-up, peak(s), then ebb-tide and like a trip 'set & setting' can greatly influence the experience. Set is your mindset (attitude, mood, arousal level, expectations, intent). Setting is your environment (comfortable, safe, quiet, relaxing, undisturbed). The 'set & setting' constitute the majority of a successful Anerosession, not the device being used.

With regards to optimizing your 'setting' you might find the thread Identifying Facilitators to Progress helpful. The issue of 'set' is a much more difficult topic to address. To a certain extent, 'setting' impacts your 'set' but there are many other factors (please see Identifying Obstacles to Progress) involved which need to be addressed as well.

I suspect your seven year journey has been more profoundly impacted by these other factors than the model of use. I suggest you do try another model but also work on your 'set & setting' issues.

Good Vibes to You!
