Aching Bladder after use

After using the Aneros, I find the next day I have an annoying aching bladder feeling, and general kind of "tiredness" in the lower abdomen, and probably the prostate area.

Has anyone else had this kind of after affect?   I don't use the Aneros frequently but do end up with an orgasm after about 45 minutes of use generally.  I'm age 73.

Any ideas?

Do you use the toy in a hands free way, as recommended? How do you know it is your bladder that is aching? Personally discomfort down there is a mystery. I can’t tell where it is aching when it does ache, because sensations radiate so much. I would guess that if you are using the toy normally, with enough lube and hands free, and if you are regularly cleared by a urologist, that you are just experiencing fatigued muscles or perhaps what we call “butt buzz.”  But I’m sure others (or a certain other) will chip in with some good ideas and links 🙂

I would agree with @divine_o, it sounds to me like muscle fatigue soreness. The fact you are an infrequent user would support that. However, there are other factors which could be involved as well such as a mild allergy to your lube, irritation of an internal hemorrhoid, prostatitiis induced by over/excessive stimulation. I'd recommend you get into a Kegel regime practice and see if that doesn't improve your results after a couple of weeks. If this situation still persists after that training perhaps it is time to consult a doctor for further investigation.

Please see @BigGlansDC 's thread Kegels do feel real good if you do them faithfully! and the threads Kegels Question, The Kegels do work! Especially with Aless!" and Kegel Workouts! for some words of wisdom on this exercise regime.

Good Vibes to You!

I had similar achiness when I 1st started using Aneros...Over time as my pelvic musculature became more trained and fit it went away.  I do still get some of that if my sessions go more than a couple of hours.  Maybe shorten your sessions to 45 minutes 2-3 times a week and see if you develop more pelvic fitness before doing longer sessions...and make sure it’s all hands free.  Hope this is helpful.

Shorten the sessions to 30 mins. A Kegel regime would also be advantageous. It’s worth noting that your contractions do need to be crushing, gentle does it.
