Which is not necessarily a great idea. Particularly if the guy is sensitive to glycerin based water soluble lubes. A friend of mine who has medical training and knowledge tells me it's not even healthy to use this type of lube vaginally. Yet that is the majority, or often times the only type of water soluble lube available at local pharmacy's or grocery stores.

Try KY gel.

I believe this has no glycerine and is the standard lube used by doctors and urologists everywhere. It is also freely available.

@Pommie - I looked it up, and KY Ultra Gel seems to be discontinued. If a person is going to use K-Y brand lube, assuming that it what they like, or what is available. The only non-glycerin lubes they sell are "K-Y Sensitive Jelly" which is water soluble, and "K-Y Intrigue" which is a silicone based lube.

I'm one the people extra sensitive to Glycerin even when it is a small component of the lotion or lube formula. The burning sensation ruins any pleasure. Some guys have also mentioned that Glycerin can cause a laxative effect, which makes sense given that they make suppositories with it.

Our best lubes for pegging are either Vaseline coated with Walnut Oil or just silicone. Of course, you'll have to put a condom on any silicone dildo to protect it from possibly reacting with silicone lube.

Any other Forum members who peg care to mention what lube works best for them?

Hi Everyone. Sorry for my long absence - I have been distracted by a number of things.

In my absence I have learned even more about pegging and role

So - to answer Dave's question - my two favorite lubes are Maximus (not perfect in terms of preservatives but works for me) and Boy Butter H2O. I think Boy Butter is more natural and less likely to set off reactions. I am not a purist with lubes so I am not a good measure of the best of the best...but those are my faves.

Okay - new toy review. The Happy Valley Tango. My first double-ended dildo. I read that it had the best parts of all the others so I gave it a try. I ordered a WeVibe Salsa (8 settings) to replace the cheap and weak bullet vibe - which was a great idea. Used it with the Spare Parts Joque harness. Definitely cool to hear your take on the Happy Valley Tango. Did you get the blue or black one? And do you find the color pleasing, or not very important? I'll be curious to see if you can get to a point where you can orgasm by using the Tango. Has it been discontinued? It looks interesting; my wife is agast at anal stimulation, even/especially on herself. It varies; some days, she seems all game, and others, it's like she's in complete denial that I even own the things. Unfortunately, our church is very small and most everyone else is either not married, or widowed, so there's no talk of sex in marriage (we're now on our 4th pastor since the aforementioned one). Glad to read you enjoyed the Happy Valley double. My wife isn't a fan of any of the 3 doubles we have (details above in this thread). Her current favorite is the Share I cut the bulb off so it's not a double anymore. When I carved it, I tried to create a clit stimulating shape. Apparently, it works pretty well. Badger, the response given by Love_is is a lot more restrained than what I was going to say immediately after you posted on September 29 (directed at the pastor you mentioned). What about the new pastor? Does he feel the same way? If not, ask him if he wouldn't mind publicly un-condemning the activity, or at least condemn the original condemnation. This is information your wife needs to hear, seeing as she accepts it from that source.

@Badger – Not to get us too far off topic in this thread... But the way I see it, is that as long something being done is consensual if involving more than just yourself, and does not involve stealing, lying, or harming someone, then I see no problem with doing it. In my own humble opinion, the only way you can get through these sort of things is to politely and gently talk about it in detail with your wife. Ask lot's of questions in an attempt to understand where she is coming from and also to allow her to think about her responses and own beliefs over time. To be specific - more firm than the Share, less firm than the feeldoe, good vibe placement and clitoral ridges. Slick silicone so no lube problem. A whole lot of awesomeness. I seem to remember that the bulb end of the Share was not comfortable for your wife - The woman's end of the Tango is 1 5/8" and fairly firm (Share is 1 3/8"). I loved the fit but not every woman will.

OK, so I got the Tango a few weeks ago and we tried it last night with the Salsa vibe inserted in the Tango. First, I heated the whole thing up under hot water. Then, my wife inserted the driver end and played with the vibe settings. She really likes the setting that cycles from low to high.


I rolled a condom onto the receiver end and lubed it with KY Intrigue silicone. With my wife flat on her back, I tried to ride the thing. No go. The driver end kept popping out. So much for harness-free use.

Well, my theory is, that because double-penetration sex is much more stimulating because both cavities are filled, by first inserting the pony end into the vagina, and then inserting a large, secure-locating butt-plug into the anus, it should contact the bulbous end of the pony through adjacent walls, helping not only to keep the other end in firmer contact with the G-spot, but (hopefully) preventing the pony from moving around in the vagina so much and keeping the pony in the vagina during thrusting. There would also be the added sensation of both cavities being filled and stimulated through the adjacent cavity walls, which, when my wife allows it, she finds highly stimulating.

Well...I certainly have the equipment and recently enjoyed anal with a partner after years of no anal play. But I do not have a regular partner at the moment so it could be a while before I have the opportunity to test your theory.

No doubt, the Tango/Salsa combo will make pegging a more frequent event in our bedroom. To date, pegging has been about 25% of our partnered sex life. Could be, it will move up to 33%. Any higher than that would take away from all the other sexual things we enjoy, so that's probably the limit.
