Hey folks! The Blogs recently became the Journals and got a great new look and feel. As a long-term reader, I’m thrilled to finally give it a try and post something!
Let me briefly tell you about my journey so far. I’m in my mid-30s, and I’ve been exploring anal pleasure since my teens. Of course, at first I didn’t have appropriate toys for that. Fingers, household items, shower bottles, and all kinds of vegetables were my go-tos—later with condoms on them, at least. I experimented with lube a lot, not being able to buy it in the store. Then I purchased my first dildo, which I used until I left my parents’ home. None of that would meet my current standards, though.
Despite all that, I remember that some of my sessions were incredible, with vocalizations I couldn’t hold back, and long periods of balancing on the edge of an orgasm until I got tired and finished with my hand each time. I can’t say I truly believed I could have that “anal orgasm”—a concept I wasn’t even fully aware of back then, but defined in those exact words—but I wanted to believe. It never happened, though 🤔
The first time I heard about MMOs was when I was a uni student. I somehow got my hands on Mantak Chia’s The Multi-Orgasmic Man. I liked the topic and the promised benefits looked great, but I found the Taoist stuff nearly esoteric. Plus, some people pointed out potential issues those practices could cause, so I didn’t take it any further.
My anal play experiences were limited back then due to the lack of privacy living in a dorm with a roommate. On rare occasions, I played when everyone was out, or sometimes in the shower—which was better than nothing, but still far from ideal 🙂
Then I finally moved into an apartment, and things got better. I bought more toys and could play whenever I wanted. Cool! But by this point, I started to notice that my anal responsiveness and prostate sensitivity had actually gotten worse. I don’t know why—whether it was physical or psychological. It’s still not as great as it was “back then.” Maybe spending years hiding and keeping myself silent developed some internal blocks and anxiety. I really don’t know.
Around 2020–2021, I learned about “prostate milking” and dedicated devices. Between the heavily promoted Aneros, Pure Wand, Nexus, and other options, I chose and invested in the Nexus Revo because I realized my main weakness was a lack of patience, and the Revo promised to do the work “on its own.” Well, later I found out that magic doesn’t exist. I ended up buying several models: Sparta, Revo Intense, and even Revo Extreme, because I couldn’t accept the “less is more” rule and thought, “This time, with this new toy, I’ll finally get there!” I didn’t.
I couldn’t afford buying tons of gear without any guarantees, so I got a knock-off Pure Wand and a few no-name prostate massagers from AliExpress. Only two of them actually worked; the rest were literally painful to use. I wasn’t overly impressed and rarely used them anyway. Later, I got the Blue Line prostate massager (literally the same as the Prostimulator VX1 by Blush, which is very similar to the SGX in size and shape) and sanded its rough surface smooth. With that modification, it was okay enough to start experimenting with the Aneros technique again, even without the original brand.
However, since I didn’t get immediate results with the massager, I rarely returned to it. Same with Mindgasm, by the way. But by this time, I understood that the possibilities are virtually endless and that I was just missing something—most likely a combination of key factors that stalled my progress, along with general frustration like believing “I’m just that unlucky guy who can’t do it, no matter what he tries.”
I made my first purchase of an actual Aneros toy during the Pride Sale a year ago. I didn’t reach Nirvana right away, of course. But it gave me peace of mind knowing that I wasn’t just using three random knock-offs, but the real thing that works for so many guys—which is a helpful little key in itself. Knock-offs can work too, sure, but less anxiety is always better.
It was a tough period in my life with tons of stress I didn’t have a chance to cope with properly. Normally, you’re supposed to plan a session and make sure there are no negative factors beforehand. The conditions were definitely not right for a successful session, but I wanted to try my new toys anyway.
I wouldn’t advise anyone to have a session under those conditions, but here’s where things got really interesting. I don’t know if it was a coincidence, but simply lying on my back with an Aneros and breathing slowly and deeply actually brought me relief. I felt better—not dramatically, but in a noticeable way. Those few sessions under hellish stress ended up leading to my first pronounced perineal buzzing sensations. Before that, I had only experienced something similar during a Mindgasm session while high on Thai weed 😅
This started a new chapter in my journey. Over time, those stress factors were resolved, and I continued doing sessions on and off. I haven’t experienced the Super-O yet, but I still get that buzzing sensation when I resume my sessions—not just during the session itself, but afterwards too. It’s great to feel the perineum “awake.” Sometimes it makes it a bit hard to concentrate when the feeling doesn’t fade during work hours, but I’m sure I’ll adapt to it. It didn’t come out of nowhere; my brain has just learned to pick up on these signals, and I expect this mind-body connection to become more precise with practice.
That’s nearly 20 years of experience summed up in one post! I think publishing this marks a new chapter in my journey as well. Many users find journaling beneficial for their progress. Making this process public is another milestone, and it opens the door for feedback that can push me forward.
Cheers! ✌️
