This last Friday, a great relief and release was experienced by my family. My father, 90 years old, who has suffered with Parkinson's disease for several years, passed away on Friday morning. Yes, it is bittersweet, but overall a good thing. He's with my Mom and many other loved ones – and no longer suffering. He went while he was asleep, peacefully. Thank you, Lord.

Blessings Brian and all your family. You are a kind loving generous care-giver, who through your energies' powers, brought universal love through your care.
All the very best Brian.

Sorry to hear of your loss, Brian. I am glad that your dad had a peaceful death.
So did both my parents. My mother died after a 1.5 year battle with cancer in late December 1973. My dad died after a three year decline from dementia in late December 1990.
I believe that both my parents were reunited in heaven. I feel at times their abiding and loving spirit. Please you may experience this too with both your parents.
Thom.

Blessings on you Brian. Thank you for sharing. How wonderful to have the assurance of life everlasting with our Heavenly Father, and all because Christ paid the penalty for our sin and offered us the gift of eternal life.
I'm sure you will never regret the time spent caring for your dad. And all those memories of time spent together are a great treasure.
May God comfort you and yours and give you peace.
