nobody is addressing inhope's basic problem; prostate massage with the aneros doesn't feel pleasurable and it should. Also the contractions are normal but don't produce pleasure as they should. The leg shaking is a sign that the device and the prostate are making contact but again not resulting in the expected pleasure. This has me perplexed too. Inhope seems to be doing everything correctly and getting the right responces but it doesn't produce pleasure and it should. Why? I've heard of taking a long time on one's path to achieve a super O or a mini O, but I assumed that the pleasure response was pretty immediate and reliable if one was following directions and massaging the prostate correctly. Is this correct? Heck, even I got pleasure from the get go.

Inhope, I hate to hear you wondering if your prostate is damaged somehow. It seems unlikely that the aneros would have damaged it. It sounds more like a problem with the neural networks around the prostate but I'm not an expert. Maybe some of the moderators could suggest something at this point? Maybe a private conversation?

I've heard of women who simply are not able to orgasm. I watched a show some years back where a doctor was trying some sort of tens type(electro stim) insertion into the spinal chord of these women and was able to have them achieve orgasm that way, as if there was something wrong with the neural wiring in their bodies. I guess if thats possible then its certainly possible for the same type of dysfunction in the neural wiring of a male and their prostate. Any thoughts?

@ineverknew I would agree, but he can clearly have traditional orgasms quite fine. I would be very surprised if his brain was incapable of having a prostate orgasm.

I can almost guarantee that its a matter of body chemistry, attitude, and not understanding how to build or circulate Chi energy.

For me, ejaculating less than once a week was enough to keep me from ever seeing P-waves. Now that I stopped, orgasm city...

I'm pretty sure that @inhope is not some anomaly. He needs to regularly conserve his seed, and I am almost 100% sure his will make up for all of his time so far.

I was making great progress and having good pleasure, then the involuntaries started. A week ago I had a great session but the involuntaries continued for a couple days and wouldn't stop. This fatigued my muscles severely and numbed my prostate. Since then I have been able to ejaculate and recieve pleasure. But I inserted my pro Jr. again last night and got no sensation. But the involuntaries started again and have lasted all night and all day without my ability to stop them. This is starting to concern me about potential harm to my body. I'm going to stop for a while to let my body heal. Hopefully I will eventually be able to turn these off when I want to. Or I'll have to give it up, losing control of my body for such extended periods is scary.

@euphemistic you are the first person to put into words what i have been unable to for some time! This is exactly whats happening, i get all the correct steps but no pleasure. Though i do get "some" feelings but nothing that even approaches super O. I just assumed that it was a question of time to get to a super O or some build up of some kind.

This energy of which many of you speak, i do experience it, but only if i watch something arousing, it never happens (nor do i believe it happens to any other man on earth) from just "imagining" it.

Again its been 3 years, not 3 months, i should be feeling something. In those early days i wonder if i somehow misused the aneros (due to lack of knowledge on how to actually use it because of a poor instructional guide that aneros as a company, well just didn't properly provide) and it caused some kind of strange issue with my prostate, that may even be permanenent.

I recall i used to get discharge when i would have a bowel movement, even to this day, which i never experienced before btw. I also used to get some stinging sort of hot pain when orgasming for a time, maybe about 5 months, but this has subsided and i still get normal orgasm. Again where is the literature on misuse and its effects? i even thought i may have had prostatitius for a time, but it didnt all fit where symptoms are concerned and now the pain etc is 100% gone.

It doesn't however, explain the times when i have had mini p-waves and the occasional 'rush' in that area from time to time (admittedly AFTER aneros use, never during) or the ability to orgasm by just tensing my anal muscles/aneros etc when i do have a session and get bored after 2hrs and want something to happen (again my patience is gone, seriously gone)

My last session, i felt something nice, not mind blowing but nice, so i went with it... it built up and up and up and resulted in a traditional ejaculation. Seriously pisses me off that, why do i cum, why does NOBODY else eh?

@inhope,I have been very conscious of the fact that my last response to your predicament was not well thought through and I regret that. Please accept my apologies.

I agree with @AneRico and believe that for your own well-being you need to seek professional advice. At least you need to rule out any physical disability.

its all good Pommie, no hard feeling anywhere. I do understand that my responses are ones of deep frustration and occasional anger, which i think is understandable during the time frame and lack of progress.

however that being said, if i am objective (once in a blue moon!) i suppose there HAS been progress, teeny, tiny and comparatively insignificant in contrast to others here it may be, but i suppose its in the right direction.

The last session i had for example i felt something the whole time, an energy building (especially with the aid of porn) and even a tiny bit without. It felt at times with enough tensing that i could feel something more, but it would always level out to nothing, or my bladder would fill and i would need to pee which would sort of reset things somewhat. Even as i type this i get the occasional jolt of feeling in the prostate, its got hint of orgasmic quality about it, sometimes it makes my jaw drop as its a taste of pure ecstasy, but that only increases my frustration, it last but a second and its gone. I'm left feeling unsure what just happened. This is what makes me believe that i have made progress and that it isn't 'numb'. Perhaps i am just too impatient (again after 3 years of nothing/not much, who wouldn't be?)

That session though ended in normal orgasm sadly, which was nothing amazing at all, i genuinely thought it would be a different kind of orgasm, so was further frustrated and confused. Anyway i don't mind if the progress i make is tiny but it seems I'm stuck here and I'm worried that the aneros when it does work will just result in normal orgasms.

I have a theory, which some have stated before but until i wrote this post down i didn't believe.... perhaps i have it working and i'm at the right stage to experience the super O and whatever, but my prostate isn't quite yet 'awakened', perhaps i need to solidly do sessions for a week, an hour long perhaps ie shorter and expecting nothing, seeing what that does to the situation.

@inhope I know that a lot of guys get a lot from the "do nothing and let it happen approach". But it doesn't do it for everyone. I've been doing prostate play as part of my sex life for a long time and the do nothing thing simply doesn't work for me. I enjoy all kinds of other prostate pleasure, from massage to pegging to vibrators to using the Aneros, but even with all of my experience, I need a more active experience. I love the Aneros products, but I always use them in a more direct way. Different bodies, different experiences.

I've also been exploring tantra and sexual energetic practices for almost as long as prostate play, and I do have multiple orgasms from it. But again, it works when I'm doing more active stuff.

So I'm wondering- have you ever tried using the Aneros in a more active way, like with direct cock stimulation? Some men's prostates don't engorge until they're already pretty turned on, so they might need more direct pleasure first. I've wondered whether the do nothing technique works better for guys who are 40+ years old, since the prostate often gets bigger. I know that it can be a lot harder to find on younger men unless they're really turned on first. Maybe that's what's going on for you?

Just a suggestion that has been working well for me lately. I have been using Aneros massagers for about six years now. I doubt that I have ever had what others on this forum describe as a super O, but know that I have been close. My prostate gets numb rather quickly. I've become rather adept about involuntaries and such, but after about twenty minutes into a session my prostate just goes numb. Although I have a very high libido, I am physically not that sensitive. Rarely can I even achieve traditional orgasm during sexual acts with a partner. It can be rather frustrating, because the beginning of my sessions feel amazingly wonderful! Then, unfortunately, I just go numb down there. It stills feels good, but not explosive like it does several minutes in. Rather than having lengthy sessions over an hour, I try to practice for shorter periods of time, more often. Seems to have brought me back to a progressive track after hitting a very long plateau.

Also, I find I get more of a reaction when going against many of the suggestions I read here. Sometimes penile stimulation, not to ejaculation, ahead of times can really be helpful. Or sometimes, not warming up and building my arousal level ahead time and just diving right in can be a boost of it's own. I even find that going minimal on lube can often give me more sensation. I try to mix it up often and not have a ritualistic Aneros sessions. Trying to keep the terminology like 'p-waves" "involuntaries" and even "prostate," out of my mind seem to keep me from over-analyzing what is occurring.

Take a break, and when you come back try to forget everything you have read before in these forums, and find out what works for you. You may even discover another method of prostate stimulation other than Aneros that just work better for you individually.

@ChalrieGlickman thats ALL ive been doing is direct stimulation, which results in nice feelings right up until orgams where its either such a subdued orgasm or just a normal one, its literally pointless. I would rather it work like its supposed or like the company states its supposed to, but that does seem like its asking too much.

This post is all about opinions so I will offer mine.

The biggest obstacle I believe is anxiety. Laying there thinking "I don't feel anything" or "what's this all about" type thoughts just block you. Relaxation is the key. Not just the type of relaxation leading to sleep but rather to inward perspective. Meditative or self-awareness more or less.

If you can't achieve this level of letting go on your own, I'd point you to posts in which successful users add a bit of pot to the mix. I have never had a dud session after a few small puffs.

@gilman, I tend to agree with you on that. I myself tend to over-think things sometimes which I believe that this tends to ruin alot of my sessions. Thinking too much instead of just feeling. Over analyzing everything and expectations running in the background of your mind, these all tend to be detrimental to a session in my opinion.

i agree with you Gilman, the problem i have is i never used to think this way for years, i would think happy thoughts, no anxiety or "why isn't this working, i'm not feeling anything" because its not true, i would feel something. But after 3 years of no progress (the progress part of this is important!) those negative thoughts start to slowly creep their way in.

Even now i don't think negatively about my experiences, i always go in positive. Its AFTERWARDS when i get negative! or when i read many threads here about people experiences that are so unbelievable (and maybe they truly are not believable) experiences that makes it worse.

Small update:

Still no real pleasure or feeling of any kind when using the device but the following days i'm getting little shoots of intense pleasure that will last around a second or so, happens randomly, no matter what i'm doing. Sometimes get 2-3 times a day sometimes nothing at all. On the odd occasion will get one weeks after initial session with no instigation of anything/nothing arousing.

Got another baffling thing happening, im proud to be the first experiencing this... apparently, see if you can tell WTF is going on with my body...

So i got the SGX stared off on my back and got nothing so switched to my front, legs together (helps push the device more in there and make better contact, try it!) and also tensing quite a bit, legs/ass/muscles in there etc you name it. I get pleasure from doing that, in the prostate area as well, feels kinda nice!

So doing this after while i got a build up, one that i cannot describe like I've ever had before, it felt like it was going to be something BIG and something DIFFERENT, it felt almost as i first had one felt back when i discovered orgasms for the first time, so finally i thought at the time, its going to happen!! something different, at last!!!

It built up and up until i came, my penis was not, i repeat NOT hard, not even slightly! when i came i then ejaculated as well, yep, no stimulation there and not even hard yet i came normally.

W
T
F

The orgasm was very nice indeed though and there was more liquid there than I've ever seen, i am typing this 20 mins after the session and i still have pleasurable feelings in the prostate area. I just wish some or maybe even ONE of my sessions didn't involve ejaculation, it doesn't make sense and in this instance SHOULDN'T be possible, not when I'm not hard, not even close.

again WTF!!?

No idea, but then again does it really matter? Did it feel good? Sounds like a prostate orgasm to me, especially if you werent even hard! I say enjoy it for what it is and not worry so much about the symantics of it.

Hey, at least it was highly pleasurable. Next time this happens, and if you have the time, try to take a break and then repeat. I'm actually a bit frustrated b/c I've been trying to ejaculate hands free and can't. Seems the grass is always greener on the other side, lol.

@inhope,It sounds to me as if you have just experienced what is commonly referred to in this forum as a "Hands-Free Wet Orgasm" (HFWO).
Although I don't recall ever having experienced one of these, I understand that there is a significant difference between a HFWO and a normal penile induced ejaculatory orgasm. This is that with a HFWO there is no refractory period.
Is this what happened to you? If so, I can't see anything to complain or worry about. Just give thanks for your good fortune and carry on enjoying the journey!
Good Luck!

Sorry i need to explain things better:

1. it was not highly pleasurable, it was just pleasurable, to compare: a traditional orgasm from masturbation or sex would have been ALOT better, believe me. (highly pleasurable from a hands free but traditional orgasm is superior)

2. The BUILD UP was nice, very nice but not orgasm nice.

3. @ctusser Why would you want hands free wet orgasms? they are NOTHING and i mean nothing in comparison to a hands on approach, believe me!

I badly want a dry orgasm, badly!! i don't get how to have one? i had to tense the living SH*T out of all my muscles to get this to happen, everyone else says the more you relax the better it works, well... thats bullsh*t in my experience. Also the second i came there was a refractory period, most definatly... it seems i'm experiencing something else i think.

Also ejaculation whilst not hard is dangerous according to medical advice, so i do not wish to repeat such a session. Another thing i experienced was a rapid and i mean intensely rapid heartbeat when on the build up, it didn't feel justified as to why it was happening, it just increased massively when i tensed? why?

I've never heard of this before, could you please cite your medical authority / reference for this? If that is true then every man who suffers from erectile dysfunction is putting himself in danger every time he ejaculates. Increased heartbeat rate is a normal result of sexual arousal leading up to orgasm and is nothing unusual or worrisome.

@inhope, wanting it too much or seeking the orgasm too strongly most likely can hinder your ability to get there as it cannot be forced, in fact most of my dry orgasms come out of nowhere with no build up, though i do get the pleaureable build up you speak of but tends to not go anywhere. Also dry orgasms can seem insignificant in the beginning or for those who dismiss the feelings because they are not as powerful as traditional orgasm. For some reason everyone has this notion that prostate orgasms are far more powerful then a traditional orgasm which is not necessarily true, though they can be for some but for most will start small and build from there. For most the pleasure is about equal to traditional orgasm but lasts much longer, instead of a few seconds it can last minutes. Just some things to keep in mind. Everyone is different and will experience them differently, I wouldnt worry too much about whats going on if its pleasureable then enjoy it and hopefully things will build and blossom from there as you progress. As far as ejaculation while limp, not sure but this could be caused by prostate massage where semen is forced out by the aneros and not necessarily by your body. This milking of the seminal vessels is not dangerous by any means. I have had this happen many times while using my progasm.

I used to get HFWOs when doing chin-ups. These were different from the regular in that I felt the orgasm more intensely. Maybe it was just that I wasn't distracted by the penis sensations as much. I didn't know that there wasn't a refractory period or I would have had much more arm muscle when growing up (humor). I stumbled upon this when doing my usual chin-ups and when I was reaching the bar with my chin, I would contract my abs and my anus at the same time, bringing my pelvis forward. I suppose I was trying to develop my abs by doing this, but I noticed a nice warm feeling that gradually intensified until I ejaculated. I haven't done this in years and probably couldn't anymore.

Inhope, I know this doesn't address your question and I don't know what you've experienced, doesn't sound like anything I've felt. All I know is that after I decided to give up my expectations of experiencing a dry O, they came to me in the middle of the night. At first I didn't know what was going on because they felt familiar in a way, like I had been having a premonition of them all along, but now was feeling them with much more intensity. I haven't felt them in days although I still get woken up with nice feelings down there. I'm guessing it's my hay fever which is requiring more attention right now. I'm sure they will return, just don't know where or when. I'm giving my body a rest. Oh, and another thing, while they were familiar, they didn't feel like I expected them to feel. Odd that.

You've had a different kind of journey from the descriptions I read in this forum and from my own, but it is YOUR journey. Trust that your body knows what it needs and don't fight it. I don't know where mine is going and have had my share of curve balls, but I got some perspective by counting the landmarks that other men have described to appreciate the progress I've made and to give me some contentment. You have many men here thinking about you and cheering you on, use that their intentions to get you to your next landmark. Best wishers.

@inhope -- Whether you "want to believe it" or not, you are making significant progress!!

The muscle twitching - Normal; the slight twinges of pleasure that occur briefly and then disappear - Normal; the sense of "something bigger" being there but finding it hard to "get over the mountain" - Normal.

I can say this because I have felt all of it, and each of these sensations started out small, but grew little by little into Dry O's and eventually Super O's, so that now, my body reacts VERY differently to prostate stimulation than it did when I first started!

I also can understand much of your frustration because I had all the same disbelief and doubts about my body, my frame of mind, and whether I was using the right Aneros!

Take some joy in knowing that you have taken some very big strides in your journey, and allow those little twinges of pleasure to grow! Mine started out lasting a second or two as well, but over several months, they have grown into full "waves" of pleasure that last upwards of 20 seconds or more on some occasions! And, I will add, the general intensity of these waves continues to grow and change! Quite blissful!

Hang in there! You are making GREAT progress!

Here's a link to the landmarks that I was talking about. The last one in the outline at the top.

http://wiki.malegspot.com/index.php?title=Getting_Started#Milestones.

I stumbled upon this when I was using the device for months and felt like I was going nowhere. I had some pleasure waves and super Ts but not what I was expecting. I saw a number of landmarks on this list that I recognized because I had experienced them, not knowing that they were a landmark. This gave me and my impatience a little breathing room until I got to the next landmark.

Also there's a list of re-wiring landmarks somewhere here that also gave me hope. It mentions a feeling like little worms squirming around my perineum as a sign of re-wiring. I had misidentified this as micro-contractions, and joked that they felt like tapeworms.

I have to admit, the damage i thought could be possible was from a TV doctor on a morning chat show some years ago, i will admit i could be wrong but its always stuck with me, he mentioned "a healthy uninterrupted flow of semen, for this to be possible an erection is needed to ensure no blockages or damage may occur"

Maybe thats out of date now? or he was mistaken, either way those words have stayed with me for years.

I had to really force that orgasm out though, really tense and i HAD to be lying on my front or it would not have worked at all. Those landmarks posted above, yes i have some but i have BITS of others and some of those i read there are just plain WEIRD, or perhaps they're written weird and make sense...?

I just don't want to teach my body to have constant wet orgasms, i cannot break this cycle and i cannot be sure this is progress?

@inhope,

Thank you for responding to my query. I agree with the doctor that an erection is likely to promote a more 'straight through' flow path for semen during ejaculation but that does not mean a flaccid penis is dangerous during ejaculation. Even an erect penis can cause damage if the urethra is constricted or blocked, as in using manual techniques (finger pressure) to stifle an ejaculation, this can lead to retrogade ejaculation into the bladder and/or excess back pressure into the prostate, ampulla and seminal vesicles. Unless there is a severe kink, bend or other constriction, a flaccid penis should pose no particular danger during ejaculation.

In regard to avoiding wet orgasms during Anerosessions, have you considered employing a testicle cuff or cockring? Either device has the effect of restraining the natural uplift/contraction of the cremaster muscles when approaching the point of ejaculatory inevitability (Point Of No Return). This can delay or even prevent ejaculation if no penile stimulation is provided. Obviously proper sizing and fit are important to avoid any injury or harmful side effects from their use.
Good Vibes to You !

Re testicle cuff: double sided velcroe is the simplest way to make a cuff. You can add a bit of felt to the prickly side or simple reverse it. It can be as wide as you want, best about 1/2 inch and only tight enough to prevent a testicle slipping through. For the purpose mention it definitely does not want to be to tight as in bondage. To get an aprox diameter make a circle with the third finger and thumb enclosing the scrotum above the testicles and see it that is about right. Some shops sell it as a loop through a beard. I find with an erection it greatly stimulates me and heightens my desire to ejaculate!

well if I'm lying on my front in order to achieve this, its not going to make a difference if i wear a ring or whatever as the penis is in contact with the bed/surface is always going to influence things, i need to remove it from the equation but lying on my back/side yields nothing. Years and years of nothing.

Had another session the other day, resulted in traditional orgasm. I truly believe a dry-O is a myth, it must be!

Also i was starting to get strange feeling in my foot/leg whilst not in session, i cant tell you how i know this but i know it was connected to my prostate, very odd but very nice feeling, just happens randomly sometimes.
