I am not sure where to start. There seems to be a wierd side effect for me, of using the aneros. Sometimes the following days after use, I get twitches all over random places in my body. I have read of people getting "butt flutters" or twitches centered in other private places, but I have not found anything on the forums where people get it in random places all over so I am wondering if I am the only one.

These twitches can occur literally anywhere, and are totally unexpected and involuntary. If you search the internet for "kundalani awakenings" you can find all kinds of frightening stuff that resembles this -- I am not sure if I believe any of it. Instead, I think there is something neurological going on here. Sometimes they feel slightly pleasurable like a micro-orgasm. Sometimes I feel nothing except getting annoyed and wanting it to stop.

When I first noticed it was back one night during a session my left foot just started twitching, it literally scared me at first and I came here literally freaking out and immediately posted this thread: http://aneros.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2254 I was able over the next few days after that post to even get a few mild orgasms from it. I have never been able to get this to occur since, but I really haven't tried a lot.

I kind of learned to control the twitches in my left foot but I cannot control it if another part of my body does it. Places I have had it happen include: my left hand, various muscles on my left arm, places on my face/forehead including eyelids (very annoying when it occurs here), muscles in my right/left leg. Actually, this list pretty much includes everywhere, so I shouldn't have even bothered.

I have had a few really weird sessions with the aneros, where during orgasm instead of my prostate/penis contracting/pulsing involuntarily as it happens, I would feel some random muscle in some random part of my body (say a muscle in the wrist of my right hand) jerk suddenly followed by wave of orgasm. Then, I would feel another place, say a muscle I didn't even know I had on my forehead contract, followed by another wave of orgasm. and on and on. This is so incredibly weird to me. But at the time it felt good, so I just went with it.

I know there is something related to orgasm behind these twitches, because as I said before, sometimes they feel like micro-orgasms. And, even when I feel no pleasure, there is just something about them that sometimes reminds me of a sexual release.

One day this past week, the twitches were especially annoying all day, especially as I was driving, and I started to get worried again that there is something scary going on here. I don't exactly want to go see a doctor about this, because I think I know the cause. I just want to know, has anyone else had these symptoms? Is this something to be concerned about?

Hi BF,

You are looking for opinions, so I have one. I will preface it with the standard "I am not a doctor" phrase. While I have not had the exact symptoms you are having, I have certainly heard of them from others. I really believe that this is all part of your individual body's re-wiring process and is nothing to worry about. They are merely "echo" effects of your Aneros sessions. It is too bad that they can be annoying to you. My guess is that as you progress, these feelings will be as controllable as what you were experiencing in your foot. There are parts of this experience can be freightening to some. There is a sense of having to "let go" of your control that is more difficult for some. I have had to learn that.

What I do experience is a sensation down on either side of my penis. It is like this "( )" in shape on either side. I get it 3 or 4 times a week, sometimes more. While it can be considered pleasurable, there are times when it is not necessarily convenient to where I am at the time. I have started to consider it my body's attempt to let me know that it is ripe for a session. If this were to have occurred earlier in my journey, I would have freaked out that I did some damage. Your body is an amazing thing!

Take care of yourself
