Two part question here. First what is the difference between the syn models and the normal versions? Is it just the material its made out of? Also for anyone that has bought one did you like it better?
Second I own the Helix and the MGX classis. Any suggestions on what model to buy next? I was thinking baout the Eupho or the Progasm Jr.

I started my aneros journey with the helix syn last November. A few months ago I was ready for my next purchase and I thought I was going to get the progasm jr., but thought the dimensions were too close to the helix. Decided I'd get the progasm ice. When I went to the store and held the ice in my hands I thought I'd never be able to get that monster in me, but I did! I will never regret my decision! It rocks my world, and I never could've imagined the sensations and orgasms it causes!

The Progasm Jr. is closer in size and shape to the Maximus, but works differently. I've not had good luck with my Jr., due to the mold seam, which I haven't had the chance to buff and polish out.

I am also somewhat disappointed that the P- and K-Tab are shaped like an M&M, and not the spherical shape like the Progasm and Ice, which are much more comfortable.

Yes, the silicone in the syn models, i find to have a silkier feel. I've had almost all models, and for awhile the helixsyn was my favorite. I also liked the bigger models because they helped me imagine a real cock in me. Now my favorite and only models are 2 Peridise. i have given all other models away.

@aneros_user13872,

You raise an interesting point.

I have found (perhaps like you?) that swapping models frequently disturbs the flow of body responses. I had most progress whenI stuck with the two smallest Peridise models or the classic Eupho. Lately, I have been trying out some of my older tools, (Helix Syn, Helix classic, Progasm Junior, Eupho Syn etc) and have found that none of them has set off any fireworks, even after a couple of outings.

I'm still finding that little Peridises and Eupho to be the most reliable and still have the ability to give me pleasant surprises.

I know, "we are all different"!

Yes, we are all different, however, you and I share a common set of Aneros that works for us! My Eupho and peridise are my favorite!

I have to say that when i had a bunch of models, they pretty well almost worked well for me. If one didn't i would switch to another. I found that i tended to have one or two favorites, and the others just sat in a drawer, so i gave them away hoping they would get better use. Since i had such success in having prostate orgasms i gave them all away. Cleaning myself out, etc. etc. was a bit burdensome. When some went on sale i got the Maximus again since i always liked the full feeling like having a penis in me. Also go the DeVice, since when i had the Vice i liked the size and silicone, but the vibrators never did much for me. Then i got the 2 i think larger Peridise (i had had all 4 b4) They just work so well for me that i got rid of the rest and just use them.

I began my Aneros sessions early June 2012 with Helix Syn which introduced me to Anerosing gradually yet effectively.

Then two months later in early August of that year I started working with Maximus and then in September both Progasm Classic and Progasm ICE. However it took me a good three months to get used to these three large models and several months more for me to receive pleasure from them.

In November, I tried using Helix Classic, Eupho Classic, and MGX in a session. They did feel pleasant. But I set them aside.

In February 2013, I added Progasm Junior to my sessions, a very good addition.

Later in June and early July, I added Eupho Syn and DeVice, also good.

However, just after last Thanksgiving, I started using Tempo and the Full Peridise set. The Peridise, and especially Tempo transformed greatly my sessions. Both Peridise and Tempo taught me persistent Aneros rhythm which lead me to Aless or Anerosless sessions which are now sublime.

Presently I use Helix Classic, Progasm Junior, Eupho Syn, Maximus, Tempo, and Progasm Classic, all or in part on my sessions. Occasionally I'll substitute Helix Syn for Helix Classic. I am fond of all these models.

Personally I feel that variety in Aneros models adds spice and surprise in my sessions. Just thinking about my Aneros models is enough to send me into the blissful sweetness of Aless! 😉

I can only speak about the Helix Syn. As well as there being a different material, I believe they tweaked the shape very slightly. It does feel subtly different (a little more light and "texture-ey" as well as the p-tab being a lot more gentle due to the flexible arm), but given the wider range of differences between models, a Syn version of a model I already own wouldn't be my first choice.
Any suggestions on what model to buy next?
Eupho, Progasm or Maximus are safe bets and solid performers if you're looking for something distinctly different from what you already have. Even more different yet are the Peridise models. I was super impressed with the Progasm Jr. when I first got it, and for some time after, but it's not currently on my go-to list of favourites (which changes several times a year), so I'm not sure about it.

I think of this whole thing as a learning process, like (I imagine) becoming a wine connoisseur, you have to taste many different types of wine, and develop a vocabulary and awareness around how different they are to each other. I don't know shit about wine, but I find it interesting that someone can instantly and strongly recognise "a fruity note with a hint of cinnamon lingering in the back of the throat", where my assessment would only go as far as "Yep, this is definitely wine".

1.)The syns feels softer than the plastics and less rough but does feel textury. The matte texture of the syn feels pleasant to me, like i'm being licked by a rough yet soft and gentle tongue, it's definitely a tongue like texture.

2.) Since you already have 2 models from the middle of the spectrum i'd suggest that you get one from both the large end and small end of the spectrum so that you have the full basics and can get an idea of what you like.

Progasm: Gives a very good "full" feeling and applies a lot of direct pressure on the prostate. The tabs may or may not hurt depending on your body structure but they feel good for only about 10 minuets in my experience before they become painful. The progasm isn't as mobile as other models so developed muscles is a must. I own the ice version of this model.

Eupho: Very delicate, precise, and agile. You'll need to have decent physical sense of touch in your anal region to feel it, as well to manuever it around you'll need to have a degree of muscle control. This models is comfy and has never failed to knock my socks off during a session, however I only own the syn version.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PS: I started with Progasm ice, Tempo/peridise, and Eupho Syn. 2 different sizes, all 4 textures, and two different styles of devices (anal-probe vs prostate massager). However I regretted my peridise purchase as it was too similar to tempo despite not weighing a ton. It's still a stellar device though and is perfect for travelling around with and getting through metal detectors, hmm maybe i'll use it soon, the light weight does add a bit of a difference : )

PPS: Ooops, i see that you wanted advice on the pro jr. and not the ice, i do not own this model however the ice texture feels similar to smooth glass, not rough or textury at all. So again, you may want to have a decent sense of touch down there to feel it, the feeling is great.

Hi @Trei,

I am glad you have touched pretty much most bases of the Aneros models which might interest @lakers01.

As regards the Progasm Junior, it is similar in shape to both the Progasm Ice and Progasm Classic, yet it has the same sleek feel of the Progasm Ice. What I like best about Progasm Junior is how through its relatively small size, it works you over. For experienced Aneros users, the Progasm Junior is very much like the Energizer Bunny! 😉

Personally I like to end my sessions with Progasm Classic which through its "rough" texture gives me a rugged ride.

Again just thinking about all my models is enough to make me horny for them and throw me into a vibrant Aless!

That is true @BigGlansDC, roughness is sometimes very desirable. There isn't one texture that is better than the other as they are all suited to different purposes. I enjoy the rough ruggedness of my Maximus.
