Hello

I've never used an Aneros device before and have just ordered the Tempo. I can't wait to try it! I have a few questions for those of you with previous Tempo experience/success:

- what lube and amount do you find works best for the Tempo?

- do you lube your rectum too or just lube the Tempo?

- what positions work best for you?

- do you ever sleep in it?

- roughly how long into a session does it take to get things going?

- roughly how many sessions did you use it for before you started getting results?

- any other hints/tricks?

Thanks in advance 🙂

- what lube and amount do you find works best for the Tempo?

Because of its absolute even polished surface I only need some drops of aquabased lube.

- do you lube your rectum too or just lube the Tempo?

I just lube the Tempo.

- what positions work best for you?

Lying prone, one leg straight the other drawn up. Consider the weight of your steely friend.
Gravity will press your Tempo against your prostate when lying face down.

- do you ever sleep in it?

I've only fallen asleep once with it inserted - for some few hours. Don't know what it should be good for, therefore I normally take it out before going to sleep. After all it's a subject that could hinder intestinal functions through the night.

- roughly how long into a session does it take to get things going?

As a beginner I would not expect anything. First of all it will be a challenge to recognize fully new sensations and to identify and focus on them.

- roughly how many sessions did you use it for before you started getting results?

As it hasn't been my first Aneros tool, at once, but it does not help you to know this, you will have to be patient and wait what will happen to you. One thing for sure, everyone of us will have to find his own path.

- any other hints/tricks?

Relaxation, patience, relaxation, patience and then relaxation an patience. Perhaps some light kegels once in a while, then patience and relaxation. And focus on every subtle feeling you sense. Reading a lot, especially in the Wiki and in all the reading matter the welcome message of @rumel will recommend to you.

You're welcome. Good luck for your journey. 🙂
Mart

Thanks Mart! I've spent the day searching through this great forum and I think the key is to "observe" and not "will" any feelings. And like you said, relaxation and patience. I'm not expecting anything now, I can see that will be counterproductive.

I'll be sure to report back!

@Tempo, you got it. That's the best way to start. Keep us posted!

Btw, one thing not mentioned is the Tempo's unique characteristic to save a given temperature. When I lately had pulled it out and cleaned myself, then later grabbed my Tempo to clean it too, I was a bit surprised to feel it still at about my inner body temperature what gave me a nice stirr, where it just had been. That's why I thought, you may want to warm it up in water before use. Later you might dare to discover the arousing effects of inserting it cold or even icy, what even might help you to better locate it's exact place in your bowel.

Another aspect to consider is its weight and its slippyness when lubed. According to your control of and to the fitness of your abdominal muscles it might slip out. Or you might press it out due to some nice involuntaries caused by your first sensations. Of course the metal won't break if falling out but the worse the damage to f.e. the shower tray or the tiles in your bathroom may be.
So watch out! 😉 But after all have fun!

Thanks for that Mart! And thanks for the headsup, I'd hate having to explain/excuse if I cracked some tiles, shower tray, etc!

I use Sliq lube. My go to process for lube is to lube the device generously. Then with the remnants on my fingers I lube up my sphincter. Then I insert the device and pull it out. This libes my anus and rectum. Then I add more lube to the device and insert again.

I typically lay on my back with legs stretched out. I also keep one leg bent and one leg straight sometimes.

Ive never slept with it but I have dozed off before.

As for how far into the session typically I start my sessions off with Aless so by the time I get to inserting any device I am well turned on and the prostate is fired up. Virtually instant from there.

This was the aneros device that took the most time to get used to once I had achieved SuperOs with the others. About 4 or 5 tries which is like a month for me.

Biggest tip is insert it cold. Have really good PC muscle control.

Thanks darkbond!

Well I had my first Tempo session last night...for 9 hours as I ended up sleeping with it in!

Nothing good to report I'm afraid. I tried contracting my ass etc but it had zero effect on the Tempo - is the Tempo too heavy for me or are my muscles too weak?
For the first 3 hours alls I felt was a dull ache in my rectum. Then it was time to go to sleep so I re-lubed and fell asleep.

Three hours later from my stomach down to my pelvis I had such amazing horny feelings which woke me up, BUT, the second I woke up these feelings went instantly, which makes me think they were actually just a dream? However, on awakening, I noticed that the dull ache had gone and now the Tempo felt completely comfortable inside me, almost like I couldn't tell it was there.

I went back to sleep and woke up this morning 6 hours later and removed it. And thats about as good as it got... no involuntries, no pleasurable feelings (I think the nice feelings were down to a dream). Not that I was expecting much the first time and I know that expections are detrimental. I'm at work now and have that dull ache again so I'll be laying off it for a few days! I think I have a long way to go with this one!

I have some questions 🙂

- the Tempo never went in or wanted to go in any further than just before the last small bulb, is this right or should that last knob go in?

- when I pulled it out this morning, the Tempo was DRYISH (even though I used 4ml of Grapeseed oil lube internally and abit of lube followed the Tempo out), is this normal or didn't I use enough lube?

Thanks in advance 🙂

Hey, @Tempo,
if your name is not your mantra and you'd like to reconsider, then please imagine the following.

If you wanted to learn to ride a bike, would you try it for three hours in a row and then even sleep on your new bike? I wouldn't. Neither would I only ask for how much lube it might take to have my Tempo in me further for another six hours.

Instead I'd suggest to follow your idea of laying your Tempo off for a few days, but then use it only for perhaps half an hour, gladly more only IF you are experiencing any sensations you would like to last longer. IF NOT, call it a session and skip the next few days.

Don't know your body size, being a tall man, my Tempo goes all the way in - including that last bulge. Your report about that dull ache and your question about the length makes me consider an obstipation issue if you haven't emptied your rectum thoroughly.

However, have fun, I wish you more success the next times. 🙂

I've just edited my post because thinking about it, those good feelings WEREN'T a dream...as I distinctly remember putting my hand on my stomach and my stomach felt (this is the best way I can describe it) like ELECTRIC. Thats what woke me up, but in that second I woke up the feelings disappeared instantly.

The tempo (and any other device) would come out dry. My sessions nowadays last longer than 3 hours. I typically re-lube when it's time to pee. I wouldnt sleep with it in. I very much like the feeling of pausing for a day or two of no aneros use and then when you go back its rejuvenating.

I could be wrong here but this may be the most difficult aneros model to use in order to learn/train your prostate. I'n my opinion this is a pretty advanced toy...

Darkbond, I think its an advanced toy too. Have you ever tried walking about in it? I did last night and it just hung half out!

Does it slide in for you all the way to the base or does it stop just before the last bulb? Mine wouldn't go any further than just prior to the last bulb, even when I pushed it in to its base, it came out again and settled just before the last bulb :/

@Tempo, I'd also agree on that. If you're not too short of money, from my bunch of tools ...
Nexus G-Rider, Progasm Ice, Helix Syn, Eupho Syn, Tempo -
By their intruding length and their "noses", Progasm & Eupho seem to stay ahead from the pack.

(The white lines are all of exactly the same length.)
... I can recommend the Eupho Syn.

"Great gifts come in little packages!"

The Eupho Syn has helped me starting my journey immediately and keeping it at high velocity.
That's why I named it the Noisy Cricket.

Here you can find some more recommendations from the community ...

But as sexuality is mostly a mind thing, you could also invest time into your knowledge about ...

Cheers!
Mart

You will definitely enjoy the Tempo! As many have pointed out, give it time and read topics on starting out. Stainless steel is great and feels awesome but remember to
consider the weight and gravity when using Tempo. As you progress you will appreciate all it has to offer! Prone position has proven best results for me! Enjoy your experience with Tempo!

Affirmative! Looking from inside your anal canal, your prostate is in the front of it. Prone positon ensures that gravity draws your Tempo's weight down towards your prostate and makes it easy to let it massage your intestinal wall where it can stimulate your gland best. Every movement of your legs and your abdomen can support this. Sometimes I move my legs like when swimming or cycling what often intensifies my sensations.
Enjoy!
Mart

If you like the feel of stainless steel, you might consider the Njoy Pfun prostate massager as it is angled perfectly and weighty and can get you revved up quickly! Definitely hits the sweet spot and is also a good Kegel exerciser! Works best on your stomach as gravity is definitely your friendly assistant!

There is another 7.5 Inch of polished steel to recommend ...
Ladies and Gentlemen, Njoy Pure Wand!

The form shows the bright smile you'll have using it.
Cheers, Mart

Beginners should use the bigger knob as the handle - at first.

Greetings @Tempo, Welcome to the beginning of your journey! Awesome, mind blowing, life changing experiences are in store as you progress.. Do not allow yourself to become discouraged if possible. The Super O payoffs are worth every amount of time you put in, no matter how long it takes! The Journey is getting to know your body and all of the pleasure that your body is capable of. Every single new sensation is worthy of your concentration (yes, I absolutely did intend for that to rhyme, lol ) So take note of each and try to develop a "personal" understanding, that no one sensation or experience is greater than the other. All are completely necessary! I would compare it to learning how to walk. It's like you were born with legs. As a child, at some point you had to learn how to use them. However, you have never used those muscles or felt those nerves in motion.. and you have never used your mind to control those limbs. Which is why I think it's important to claim equal significance on each and every new sensation.. every new experience. Your awakening your prostate. A part of your body that has always been a part of your body.. becoming aware and learning how to allow your mind to just "have it's way" with your prostate and unlock all of the pleasure that's inside. As an example, our eyes just automatically blink at the flash of a bright light. It's just a natural reflex. Your legs just walk when you want to go somewhere... your body just does so without giving it much more than a single thought. All of this in combination with a healthy sexual arousal and a desire to dive deep into ultimate sexual pleasure. Put it all together and your legs may be walking sooner than you think, lol! Have you ever experimented with nipple play? If not I highly recommend looking into it! There are many awesome threads, here on the forum, dealing with the subject. I didn't realize it for the longest time but my nipples are directly connected to my prostate and to my cock. It played a huge part in the awakening of my prostate. It's almost like a remote control for me, lol! I know it's not for everyone but certainly worth looking into if you haven't already tried. Lastly, your experiences.. every new sensation are like little waves tapping on the bottom of your boat, a very important precursor to a ever growing tsunami heading your way.. Hang on and Enjoy the ride!

There is one other thing I forgot to mention.. just a suggestion. I'm wondering if the tempo may be a bit too heavy as a starting point? I say this because every tiny movement is very significant as the nerve endings and your prostate start to develop feelings. The weight of the tempo may stun this action from taking place. As with a lighter plastic model, it doesn't take much if any effort for movement to occur. When doing contraction exercises additional movement requires less effort as well.. I'm just concerned that weight of the model may limit it's ability move, to naturally vibrate.. all the llittle tingles that stimulate nerve endings. If your budget allows and if things do not improve with the tempo, I would suggest trying a lighter plastic model. Best of luck to you my friend 🙂

Hi all particulary Years2CenteR, just thought I'd check in with how I've been getting on. Well not so good I'm afraid!

Years2Cente2 I think you were so right on with that you said about the Tempo being too heavy to start with. Its an advanced toy afterall and I'm a beginner, hence why after a fair few hours I've had no pleasure at all from this device. It always makes my ass feel sore at first, then that subsides to just not being able to tell its even there. Thats as good as my sessions got!

So I've given up on the Tempo for now and I'm ordering a set of thr Peridise. Hopefully the lighter weight will be better for me.

My take on the Tempo. To me, it seems to massage in a very different way than the other Aneros products in the Trident and Classic lineup. With these tools, when the involuntaries start, there is a lot of in/out motion that repeatedly rides over the prostate area. With the Tempo, however, the involuntaries set up more of a QUIVERING movement of the device with very little to none in/out movement. As best I can describe it, the quivering feels more like it is licking the prostate area and less like the device is moving over it. As a result, the Tempo seems to produce an orgasm that is higher in frequency and pitch than the other devices that will naturally move in and out during involuntaries.

Regarding lube, I have found that the Tempo requires very little compared to other products. As for sleeping... no way as one orgasm is just a setup for the next one, so I have to remove it or deal with being stimulated all night.

On progression, in my opinion, the Tempo is an advanced device. I started out with a helix and had really awesome results, and mistakenly thought that bigger would be better and went to a progasm jr. It was just too big, and feels like I have to clench on it when an orgasm builds... So I went the other way with the Eupho Trident, and that device is the one that taught me that very subtle movement would result in mind blowing orgasms with effortless and long lasting involuntaries once things got started.

Without the prior use of the Eupho which took some time to understand, I doubt the Tempo would have worked as well as it does because to me it seems the way these two devices work is very different than the other massagers.

Also, with the Tempo I have found that it settles with the last bulb out and doesn't go the whole way in. When the involuntaries start, I like to just lightly tap on the base with one finger which seems to amplify and reverberate the quivering sensation throughout my lower body and sometimes the whole way up my arms.

Needless to say, I have become a fan of the Tempo, but do recommend going through a period with the Eupho first as a way of transitioning from the movement of the other massagers to the sensation of quivering and licking associated with the Tempo.
