I got away from my Aneros about a year ago. Actually lost it in a move. I want to give it a go again but I want to start over completely. Refresh me on the best model to begin with and assume I'm a beginner as it's been so long. Thanks!

Welcome back @TantricHealth.
I'd say an MGX (like you had before?) is still considered a good starter. Either that or a Helix.
Go for the newer Trident version, if the price difference isn't too much online.

Coming at this fresh sounds like a great plan.
Maybe consider keeping a diary or blog this time round? Mine helps reassure me that I'm making progress, even if it is baby steps.

Hoping someone more eloquent like rumel posts here, with a proper welcome whack of text n' wisdom. Here's some wise words from @ihave2cats in the mean time:
"Do what feels most natural and comfortable to you. Especially for those just getting started, don't get caught up on all the different things that others are doing (who are likely further along than you are), just keep things simple, don't overdo / overthink it, and you will likely find success. All of those different techniques may (or may not) help enhance your sensations, but when you are just getting started the single most important technique to practice is patience"

Thanks Kazama! I think I'm going to keep it very simple starting over. No methods, no nothing.. Just insert, be aware and notice what happens! 🙂

Hi @TantricHealth, today - after some longer Aless time - I started over with my favorite Aneros tool - my Eupho Syn - and again it surprised me and remembered me of this post of mine. Good luck for your new initiation and may awareness be with you!

To quote myself:

if you can manage to fully focus on the apple you just are eating, you got it. If anyone else eats an equal apple, he can do it without any focus and without savoring it. Thus he might miss all the great sensual pleasures of a conscious degusting and envy you for your apple. But it's not the apple. It's the magic moment of enjoyment you made of it.
