I've always been intrigued by the notion of pegging, but since i'm single - it is not likely to be happening anytime soon. So i recently purchased a 6" suction cup dildo to try my hand at some solo anal play.

Attached to a dresser drawer, going on my knees i tried it for the first time. The sensation was a bit different than the Aneros I was used to. I have a Progasm so I'm no stranger to a larger device going in. However I can honestly say this is the first time I inserted a device and had it hurt. But i'm glad for the experience - now I know what it feels like should I ever find myself asking my future wife to attempt anal activity. It really made me understand the importance of going slowly and relaxing the sphincters. I've never had an Aneros device hurt like that when inserting.

The 2nd time I used it was a lot easier. I was relaxed to the point where I was able to have the device going completely in and out in quick succession. The rapid insertions were the best feeling, not just the sliding back and forth while inserted. I was relaxed enough that I got going quite vigorously. I didn't feel much prostate involvement though - perhaps the device wasn't angled properly or merely wasn't large enough.

I enjoyed the use of the dildo so much I actually ordered a larger one today online. The one I use currently is a 6" length with a girth width of 1.5", the new one I ordered is 8" with a girth width of 2". I'm looking forward to the sensation of a fuller feeling and (hopefully) some more prostate interaction during the session.

Anybody have any recommendations for hitting the prostate while doing some solo dildoing?
Size/angle of the device etc.?

Cheers!

LOL thought it is not always needed, I really feel often times this is why a man needs a woman from time to time. We often force you guys to slow down instead of rush into doing something. However I'm glad that you were able to do it again and feel pleasurable. Pegging more than likely wont feel the same however, @xtimedt69 will probably chime in here but he has solo experience as well as pegging experience with his wife and feels with his wife is much better.

As far as the new dildo you bought I have one that is a similar size, make sure you take the time to take extra care that you go slow and relax. Its a bit of a size difference and that makes a difference. It will more than likely take a bit longer to get in but dont rush just enjoy relaxing into (or should i say onto...) it.

As far as angling more for the prostate a curved model will probably work better, however due to the slight differences in anatomy it kind of depends on what feels best to you. If what you have is straight try to aim it more towards the front of your body...you know when you are hitting your prostate how you like it. Let that be your guide. Hope it goes well for you!

Thanks for the advice. Since i'm new to it i'm just wondering about safety involving depth of penetration. I believe the dildo I'm using is 6" of insertable length. When I first started out I felt it sort of bottom out and hit a point inside my rectum - it sorta hurt so I didn't push it past that point. However shortly after I'd relaxed more, was more turned out and was penetrating more vigorously I found that I actually was able to take in the entire length. How does that work?

Also wondering how some individuals practice their own solo dildoing sessions - do you prefer to insert and then just let it slide inside you or do you like fully pulling it out and reinserting repeatedly? Combination of both (most likely)?

@musicmaker86

Please pay attention when your body gives you pain or discomfort signals with anal play! You can easily hurt yourself back there and create anal fissures which are just so horrible and can take quite some time to heal where you won't be able to do any anal play at all and taking bowel movements hurts.

When you encounter pain during initial insertion, slowly remove the dildo completely, wait for your anus to relax and be receptive and try slowly inserting again. Do this as often as needed until you have full insertion.

I'm using a Feeldoe More which has a bit of a upward curve of the shaft, fairly wide shaft, and a head larger than the shaft. So in my own experience pushing the More into my prostate is not necessary. When I've tried it, it resulted in pain or discomfort. Just having the More move in and out with the upward curve pointed towards my prostate is enough. Both the head and the shaft massage my prostate just fine. 🙂

In terms of how deep you can get it in, I've felt this same thing to, and I'm not really sure what it is. I don't know that there is any further sphincters in the rectum or colon past the inner anal sphincter, or perhaps this is relaxing yourself such that the dildo goes past the rectum and into the sigmoid colon. I don't know what the answer is. Just heed any pain signals and you should be alright.

I second what @Love_is says about listening to your bodies signals (and everything else he said for that matter). True enough I've never been pegged (though I've done a fair share of it lol), however my rectum anus etc is essentially the same as yours minus the prostate. I would guess the reason you felt some pain at the beginning is due to you not being fully relaxed and or fully aroused. Even for me it takes some time to get fully relaxed and be able to accept full penetration whether its a man or toy. It does seem to help when you get as aroused and relaxed as possible before any type of penetration occurs.

Thanks guys - i've always listened to my body's cues and never tried to go beyond what it tells me I should. I've found that in each session the more I relax and become aroused, the easier it gets. I never try to rush into things.

Right now I feel like i'm in a period of excitement because its a novel and new experience. I find that everyday I want to use my dildo. I'm just wondering if I should be. My find my anus craving the new sensations. I just don't want to damage anything.

musicmaker86,
Listening to your body's sensory cues is very wise for both safety and pleasure purposes. The discomfort you felt from initial deep penetration of the dildo was probably due to stretching of an un-relaxed Hirsch's sphincter. This is a sphincter which occurs at the transition of the colon into the rectum, it is largely responsible for keeping fecal material contained in the intestines until one is ready to have a bowel movement. It is the reason why the rectum remains void of feces most of the time. It is an involuntarily controlled muscle like the inner anal sphincter and thus needs to relax for objects to easily pass through. Relaxation and slow dilation of this sphincter is key to being able to enjoy the deep penetration.
Good Vibes to You !

hi musicmaker86. I think I get prostate massage with my dildo, a vixen mustang 8 incher http://vixencreations.com/dildos.php. I recommend it. I'm somewhat rewired so I'm not sure if my ass is just used to the feeling and my muscles are massaging my prostate or if the dildo is massaging it directly. I get that with aneros-less sessions as well. but it's definitely a great feeling. That being said it's bigger than my rectum and I can feel it hitting my Hirsch's sphincterso I don't push it.Good luck with your explorations.

Get a 8" dildo 1.5 diameter with a suction cup for the shower wall and have some awesome sessions. Give yourself sometime to get ready for that monster fingering 1-2 and plenty of lube. No it's not as good as peeging

Don't overlook the importance of materials when choosing dildos, as they can make or break it. Medical grade silicone is the best, but also the most expensive

The best dildo I have tried is VixSkin Mustang, and it is perfect for pegging. Sadly, it does not have a suction cup

Sounds like a good quality product. Sure is pricey. Maybe i'll save for one someday - for now the one that I have suits me fine. The suction cup may not be an issue, I have a dildo that came included with a double sided suction cup. It works for devices that have flat backs to them, albeit not as well as one with its own suction cup. I am interested in one that's more suited for prostate interaction. The one i'm currently using as well as the one I just ordered are both straight - no curve at all. Maybe that'll be the next purchase.

Quick question - how does one participate in solo dildoing with a device with no suction cup? Are you limited to manual usage only? Or have you rigged up some way to mount it to something for hands free usage?

Anybody else care to share?

Pandabear's advice is spot on. Although a few of Vixen Creations dildo models do have an integrated suction cup. Just look through what they have and you'll find them. Other options for safe suction cup dildos from reputable sex toy companies are Bad Dragon if you don't mind the unusual shapes. Again not all models, so you have to search through. And then, Tantus makes an excellent silicone suction cup that mounts into any dildo that has a bullet vibrator hole in it's base. So any of Tantus vibrator dildos would apply, Vixen Creations Vibe models, Vamp Silicone has some models that have this hole, as does some of Gespenst's Fantasy Gear dildos, and all the Feeldoe and Realdoe models.

@musicmaker86

Good quality 100% platinum cured or medical grade silicone toys can be expensive. But if you know where to look, you can often times get really good deals. The Tantus Grab Bag is a great way to get quality silicone toys from a reputable sex toy manufacturer for not a whole lot of money. And, they are having a sale. Also Gespenst's Fantasy Gear often offers really good deals on dildos, particularly if they are cosmetically flawed or on clearance. He's also a small one man shop and can do custom orders.

Two options that I know of, manual usage (with hand holding the dildo) is very typical and what I do. I've also been told that if you have a singe ended flared base dildo and you have a cheap harness that allows you to completely undo or open all the straps, you can wrap the harness around a wooden chair such that the O-ring is right on the seat portion of the chair and ride the dildo that way.

This is the first dildo i've ever owned, so far i've enjoyed it - Nasstoys Real Skin WhoppersHere's the one I just ordered - Pipedream Real Feel Deluxe

Eventually I'm thinking i'll upgrade to a better quality silicone one, possibly from VixSkin. Something with a curve to it to hit the prostate a little better. In the meantime i'll have to rig up something to mount it to a surface given the fact that those VixSkin models don't seem to have suction cups on them.

That looks pretty intense - perhaps a little too much for me. I'm not overly interested in deep penetration, for now at least. I'm interested to see how the newer model i'm expecting measures up, what with it being quite girthy compared to my previous one.

A Brief Update.

I've found lately that since I started enjoying the use of my dildo for some hands free sessions, my butt has been craving attention more and more. Last night I had a session that was great and after a number of different devices were used I finally satiated my anus into satisfaction.

I spent a good half an hour with the mounted dildo just doing hands free penetration. After which I used my Fleshlight* (corrected from flashlight...) to finish off - I wanted to put the cravings to rest for the night. But, it wasn't enough. So I decided to have a quick session with my Progasm, just for fun. No Super-O's, as I expected, having just came minutes before. However, had some amazing sensations involving intense clamping and involuntary contractions and a few terrific Anal-O's. Finally, I had a new plug that I hadn't tried yet - so I popped it in just to chill for a bit. Ended up using my hand to finish my self off a second time.

At that point I was spent. Completely satisfied. My butt was throbbing and kinda sore - but in a good way.
Gonna take a few days off to recoup then enjoy it again.
Learning is fun

Musicmaker86, you asked about solo dildoing. I have been just inserting and lying flat on my back using my hips to push the dildo in and out. But experimenting I found that kneeling and rocking back and forth with the dildo on the floor was good too. Standing on my haunches is too uncomfortable. BTW my mustang vixen does have a little suction on the flat end for light fucking against a tile shower stall for instance.

Man, I've created a monster. A monster that constantly craves anal play.

I was planning on taking today off just to put some space in between my next session and the last, but by tonight I couldn't take it and I had to bust out the dildo again. It started off with just using my Progasm but after a few Anal-O's I couldn't hold off. Although tonight I didn't finish with a penile orgasm - gonna see if this makes a difference for each subsequent session after this.

I thought after last night i'd finally satiated myself, but my butt is enjoying this new novelty too much.
Anybody else ever have a period like this where they just couldn't get enough of it?

G'day musicmaker86,
I can identify with your problem. There are times when I experience periods of intense hyper sexuality. These last from a few days to up to six weeks in length. I am presently going through such a period and like yourself my focus is anal stimulation. I think about it constantly and use my aneros most nights and sometimes all night as well as daily walking around the house, doing my contractions while doing the daily chores. I have used dildos in the past but don't currently have one, something that I will have to rectify.
During these periods of intense hyper sexuality I find it difficult to give proper attention to the normal requirements of life and my day to day living and interaction with people suffers. I enjoy these intense periods immensely but I eventually come to the realisation that I must pull back from my feelings. My way of doing this is to masturbate to a climax as often as I can. After climaxing, as soon as I can become erect again, masturbate to another climax and so on until I am satiated and I no longer have sexual feelings crowding my head and controlling me. Then I am ok for several days, weeks or months until another trigger or thought awakens the erotic thoughts in me again

Guys, please know that you are using or recommending toxic and porous material sex toys from sex toy companies of ill repute. Please educate yourselves about the issues of toxic and porous material sex toys with the following links:

http://www.reddit.com/r/sex/comments/184960/toxic_sex_toys_what_to_know_before_you_buy/

http://www.reddit.com/r/SexToys/comments/20d59r/the_rsextoys_guide_for_sex_toy_shopping_tips/

The Pipedream Products Basix 10 inch is made of PVC which is toxic and porous.

The Nasstoys All American Whoppers 6 inch is made of PVC which is toxic and porous.

The Pipedream Products Real Feel Deluxe No. 1 is made of PVC which is toxic and porous, and TPR which is porous and the material breaks down over time.

The Doc Johnson Slim Medium Butt Plug in Red is made of PVC which is toxic and porous, and TPR which is porous and the material breaks down over time. And there is a very scary eye opening review and comments about this plug in the following link:

@Love_is I hope that they take your advice on toys. I think sometimes people forget that your rectum can absorb chemicals, and the toys that are not of good quality can have draw backs....money is not the main consideration, your health is.

Thanks for the info @Love_is - I had no idea the dangers of cheap toys and such. For now I guess I'll start using a condom over them when I use the ones I presently have until I save up some cash to upgrade to a better quality silicone toy like one of the Vixskins.

Yes, that's good! It's important to treat your body well, and it will benefit you in the long run. I read muscleman's thread on the VixSkin Mustang, and decided I needed one as well. I followed his "do nothing" approach, and let my body do the work. My involuntary muscles are working well, what with all the peridise and now tempo work.

I think it's good that you've decided to not end sessions with penile orgasms. Brilliant mindset! Keep on trying different things, and please come tell us if you find anything interesting/fun 😀

Have you had any success with manual manipulation of the dildo using your hand? I've tried that quite a few times, but it has never really done anything for me. The only manual toy I use is the njoy pure wand, and I only move that around very slightly

The more i've read and heard of it, the more I think i'll also invest in a VixSkin Dildo as well, and probably just throw out the ones i've been using. They're cheap and probably no good for me. Plus they probably don't have much of a shelf life either.

However I think I need to discipline myself for a while now. I'm not currently working and I have a lot of free time - too much really. The last few days I've been obsessed with anal play. I've been holding off on penile orgasms because I wanted each session with the dildo and/or Aneros to be better than the last. But I'm finding that I'm thinking about it way too much and that its difficult to concentrate on doing other things during my day. I just finished a session and ended off with a traditional orgasm to try and curb my enthusiasm for the time being. I find when I hold off on ejaculation then i'm too aroused, and all I'll want to do is use the dildo or my aneros.

Have you had any success with manual manipulation of the dildo using your hand? I've tried that quite a few times, but it has never really done anything for me. The only manual toy I use is the njoy pure wand, and I only move that around very slightly

I've had some good sensations, but it always feels like i'm not quite hitting the right spot. I'm partial to mounting my dildo on a dresser drawer and going hands free on my knees with it. It feels good, but I believe it would be much better if I didn't have to focus on the thrusting myself - much rather be pegged by my beautiful (future) wife.

I'm expecting a larger dildo to arrive in the mail this week - perhaps the larger girth will be more enjoyable.

Yes, it's a good idea to take some time off. If you've been doing it for a few days in a row, you can try taking a day off, and see how that improves your upcoming sessuon. I find that 2-3 days between sessions is what produces the most pleasure. The prostate takes some time to reload. Drink some green tea, take your vitamins, practice some yoga, go for a walk, play the piano or watch your favourite tv-series and you'll return with energy

I would like to extend a very big think you to Love Is and Devajones for bringing to our attention the dangers of cheap and toxic silicone sex toys. About three years ago I lusted over and finally bought a hot pink 12inch silicone dildo. When I took it out of the wrapper, the first thing that grabbed my attention was the isilicone fumes hitting my nostrils. I just thought that the smell was because it was new and had been in an airtight wrapper. I began to use it and used it for several weeks but noticed that after using it my anus was starting to have a burning sensation in it. At first I passed it off as being a case of not enough lubricant and being too vigorous and enthusiastic with its use. Eventually though I decided that the dildo may be emitting some sort of toxic particles so I disposed of it.
Since then I have wistfully thought about it and the enjoyment it gave me and I have always intended to purchase another one. On reading your advice and the links that you gave, as well as that of other bloggers, my desire to own another dildo has been aroused again and I have started to research on what I should buy. I haven't made a decision yet. I got sidetracked yesterday and purchased a Tantus Neo butt plugg and four lube application syringes. Looking forward to their arrival! The Tantus is of the good silicone so I should be ok. Meanwhile I will check out the vickskin that you are recommending.

Just got my Pipedream Real Feel Deluxe No. 1 in the mail today. Looks like a good product. When I opened it up to check it out there were no chemical smells at all - compared to the Nasstoys Whopper I also own, which smells quite strongly of chemicals.

In light of what @Love_is mentioned about their porous and potentially toxic nature I'll be using a condom on this one for now. I realize the material also breaks down over time so I'll inevitably have to replace it. Once I save up some $$ i'll pick up a good Vixskin silicone product.

You are very welcome. I want people to be safe in their sex toy exploits.

100% platinum cured or medical grade silicone has little to no smell. There is not a chance it was silicone in the least bit. This is a great example of sex toy manufacturers of ill repute lying about what it is made of. This still happens, nothing has changed in that regard. More likely it was made of jelly rubber which is highly toxic and porous, and stinks terribly. Those kind of nasty body reactions from the use of toxic toys is not uncommon. Good for you for ordering some body safe sex toys from a reputable sex toy manufacturer.

In light of what @Love_is mentioned about their porous and potentially toxic nature I'll be using a condom on this one for now. I realize the material also breaks down over time so I'll inevitably have to replace it. Once I save up some $$ i'll pick up a good Vixskin silicone product.
Please keep in mind that putting a condom over it does not protect you. Condoms were never
design to keep people safe from toxic chemicals off gassing and leaking
from toxic toys. People that have negative reactions to toxic toys have reported that putting a condom over it only slightly delays that reaction from happening.
