Something is a bit a "miss"

I purchased the Helix and while the sensations are "nice", they really don't seem to be working as well as I'd thought. By way of comparison I get the desirable sensations whilst using a wand type device. The sensations then are intense and pretty immediate.

It would seem that the Helix has trouble getting to the right spot, like it isn't tipped far enough forward.

The P-Tab is also somewhat painful but putting some cotton padding helped with that.

Thanks in advance for the advice,

I felt that way too. Like the prostate is further along. The pressure distribution is what you're not accustomed to. This thing has a larger footprint, so therefore covers the prostate over a much greater area. Your mind is wired a certain way to adapt sensations outside your body better than the internal sensations. Trust me, it's RIGHT on. Play with it a few days, be much more gentle with yourself, and don't over do. The initial shock period can be different with everyone.

Hi Etyn!

Again, I think justfoundtheprostate is spot on here!

The Aneros is probably more mental than physical and your body needs to become accustomed to the new feelings and re-wire accordingly!

On rare occasion, I use devices like you speak of, for a totally different change of pace experience! Although, I would try and limit such
devices and traditional orgasms, during your initial learning curve.

Just my humble opinion!

Observation and theory:

Is it possible that non-relaxed inner sphincter is changing the angle such that the P-Tab is causing discomfort while also preventing the pivot action from nudging the prostate?

That would tend to explain a couple of different things, such as why a hand held tends to work as it avoids that issue more etc.

Just thinking.
