So I've seen a few account of people sleeping with the aneros in, and was just curious as to the reason for this. In my experience, sleep is resting time, and aneros is pleasure time, and the two don't mix in my opinon, except that one could immediately follow the other.
So why do people sleep with the aneros in?
Is it comfortable?
Do you still get your required hours of rest?
Does it have any benefits to the aneros experience?
And lastly, is it worth having a try?
Hello, M.
I'm one of the guys who sleep with Aneros every night. The manufacturer does NOT recommend this for a lot of reasons, being sued is among them, I'm sure. If you search this forum for threads with "sleeping" in the title, you'll find a lot of discussion about this.
The reason I do it is because I don't have any time during the day for Aneros and it's easier to just go to sleep after a bedtime session than to get up and remove the thing. Then, when I wake up at dawn, I can have another session. Also, since I go to bed before my wife, she will wake me up at 1 or 2 in the morning for sex. With the Aneros already inserted, I'm good to go.
For me, some Aneros models are too aggressive to sleep with, such as Progasm and Helix. The Syn and Eupho are best. If you want to try sleeping with one of these devices, I suggest a long-lasting oil or fat-based lube. Silicone works well on Eupho, but is not compatible with Syn. Water-based lubes won't make it through the night.
Best Regards,
Dave
Good Question.
Good Answer.
I often go to sleep with an Aneros in place. But I only sleep for a few hours at a time. I have also found inserting an Aneros when I can't sleep in the early hours after a few nice contacts it puts me to sleep and that sleep is very refreshing and appreciated. I don't have any remarkable experiences but I do feel a responsive connection between my prostate and the Aneros which is nice.
Thanks Dave, I feel a lot more comfortable knowing that others sleep with an Aneros in place for a lot longer than I do.
I have heat curled the tail back over the stem so it does not contact the bed when I lie on my back.
Good oil based lubes /mixed lubes last a long time and don't absorb the natural smell so all is very nice at the (that) end.
I appreciate the effort put into make the forum safe
For the relief of haemorrhoids, the Peridise models (called Peristal by HIH), leaving the tool in place overnight is perfectly OK and I would recommend. This is particularly true of the two smaller models.
One still needs to use a durable lubricant and I would suggest unrefined shea butter.
Yes I would second unrefined shea butter. Works very well by itself. As an alternative I use a mix of castor oil and bees wax. Both are very good and very long lasting.
Question with shea butter. If inserted as a frozen pellet of a solid cold cylinder do you wait for it to melt before inserting an Aneros.
isvara,Hello again!
To answer your question - Yes, but it only takes about as long as it takes for me to clean my teeth for that to happen. Not a problem!
