Restoring sensation

Hi guys,

Recently bought the Aneros and am enjoying it. Haven't hit anything near the super O yet, but definitely enjoying the sensation my anus can give me (no noticing of any prostate stimulation at this point).

Just wondering: I've been struggling with a loss of sensation in my penis for quite some time. I can come, but usually the pleasure is so short lived compared to when I first started masturbating. I believe this loss of sensation is due to years (about 5-6) of almost daily porn usage and masturbation, which has left my body worn out in the end.

So of course the Aneros is (hopefully) a way to explore an alternative erotic side that may let me enjoy the same type of pleasure that I had when I first started exploring sex. But I'd like to know: is there any way, Aneros or otherwise, that can restore the sensitivity to my penis so that I can enjoy my penis for what it used to be?

Thanks!

I believe that Aneros can and has improved the physical well being of the penis in many users including erectile function, stamina, blood flow, firmness, and sensitivity.

abelian,

Welcome to the Forum,

I agree with your self-identified reason for lack of sensation, goodness sir, you need to let Mr. Johnson take a break to recoup his energies. A little self induced period of orgasm denial may work wonders in ramping up the sensation index.

Your new Aneros massager is an ideal way “to explore an alternative erotic side” to your body, but I would like to point out this will not be the “same type of pleasure that” you had when you first started exploring sex. This pleasure is derived from a different paradigm of thinking and technique that is not focused on the penis. If you are beginning this journey thinking and/or expecting the Aneros to regenerate those former penile based sensations then you are likely to be woefully disappointed. I would recommend you read 'Cockadoodle's thread Penis. NOT! for a little insight into this aspect of Aneros practice.

It is not unusual for new users to experience limited feelings during their initial sessions, it takes some men a little longer to have their prostate "awakening". Once you have experienced that initial awakening then the “rewiring” process will begin.

As you decrease the number of ejaculations do to traditional masturbation and begin earnest practice learning about the interaction between the Aneros and your body, I think you will find a return to the former sensitivity you experienced with your penis, only now you will have it accompanied with some new added pleasure feelings.

Hello abelian and welcome to the forum,

I'm a nube so, here are some nube thoughts. It took a while but I've begin to learn that brain sensitivity is key to most elements of erotic sensitivity.

Rumel's thoughts on decreased frequency of ejaculation are the key that many of us follow to pump up horniness/libido and improve brain sensitivity to what our penis and prostate cry for. I like to hold my horniness at it's peak for about two days before giving in to my wife's desires that I cum. Those two days give me a solid Aneros 'journey session' without cumming and a good edging session without cumming. While I'm storing semen to peak my libido I stick with ano-rectal play using an Aneros tool -- hands off the penis no matter how frenzied things get. Temptation is tough and sometimes I'll give into to a hands-free wet O and get to start storing semen again.

In addition to reading Cockadoodle's classic Penis_Not post, consider general fitness and diet. Here are a couple of threads that focus on diet aimed at hopping up your GU health:

http://www.aneros.com/forum/your-experiences-with-zane-blue-s-orgasmic-diet-t3802-15.html

http://www.aneros.com/forum/horny-goat-weed-vs-viagra-t3354-15.html?highlight=diet%20zaneblue

I've found that everyday Omega/FishOil supplement has taken a day off the time I need to peak my horniness and libido after I've been 'drained dry.'

Important to find a balance though. The Urologists now say we should 'empty out' 20-22 times a month. 😀 Damn, all these competing demands ... life is hell. 😆 👿 😈
