You'll have to excuse me while I chuckle at myself for having gone back to my bedroom to smell my Progasm and Peridise so I could answer your question. 😆

They have a very very light plastic like odor. Your nose basically has to be on top of it to even smell it. And I consider myself to have a very sensitive sense of smell. Otherwise, during normal usage I've never smelled the Aneros toys. If you're going to smell anything during a session, it's going to be the lube you are using. And that's omitting the obvious of any possible poop smells for whatever reason.

The Aneros by itself has very little odor to speak of.

Adult toys that have strong odors are generally of the soft type. During the manufacturing process of these products there are compounds added to make the material soft and add elasticity. Jelly type adult toys smell the strongest. Many of these toys contain a chemical called phthalate which has been linked to a variety of different health concerns. These products should be avoided. If you have any such toys or not sure about what you have, I would recommend using a condom over them.

Nothing smelled as strong as my jelly & vinyl toys when I had them. Take Brian's advice on avoiding these types of toys entirely. I threw out all of my "bad" toys and converted all my sex toys, over a period of time, to 100% high quality silicone and glass toys.

To answer your question, the aneros devices do not have any noticeable smells at all. 8)
