Hi everyone,

I've been using my aneros infrequently for about 2 months I think (can't even remember when I bought it anymore). At first I could feel the new sensations: pressure against the prostate, some buzzing after a prolonged session, etc. At this point, though, I don't feel a thing when I settle into a session. Not even pressure against my prostate. I thought that maybe because touch is feeling more normal in that area, the sensitivity is dying down before it gets wired for pleasure. Does this sound right? I've also been trying some anal play with a guy I know, but I still get no pleasure at all from any anal contact. I can't feel a finger, nor rimming, and I'm way too tight to try anything bigger. I feel like my whole pelvic zone is depressed, which might be connected to my liver chi stagnation (Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis). Does anyone have any advice or comment about this situation?

Many thanks.

Hello rainstomp, 🙂

I've found in my own experience that sensations and pleasure in Aneros sessions are sometimes cyclical or not always consistent. Just keep practicing, relax, and try experimenting in your sessions for new techniques that trigger pleasure to occur.

I can't feel a finger, nor rimming, and I'm way too tight to try anything bigger.

The tightness is from your anal muscles not being relaxed enough. That's something that takes practice to learn to do. As far as not feeling much, you still most likely are in the process of re-wiring, so be patient. In addition, you could also be in a cycle of not feeling much pleasure in general. It happens.

Be patient. This is not a quick path to pleasure for most people. I'm still grinding away at almost two yeas.

Hmm... A wise person once told me, "Is doesn't matter if you think you can, or you think you can't. You're right." What I got from that was an immediate sense of your not helping, lol; it took some time before I saw the wisdom in it. Argue for your weakness and you own it, you make it true.

Bear in mind sessions with the aneros are cyclic. Sometimes it happens (by "it" I mean anything) on its own, other times you have to work to make it happen, and others it won't no matter how much effort you exert.

Whenever I want something that has happened to happen again, it doesn't. An example of this is butt buzz during a session. I read a person's description of it on this forum and thought that sounds neat. I never gave it a second thought. That night it happened during my session. Wow, it really was neat. The next 4-5 sessions, I thought that would be nice to experience again but it didn't happen. It only came back after it was the last thing on my mind.

My advice for you would be to attribute a dud session with the cyclic nature of the beast. These things happen. Tomorrow will be better. Don't ever feel there is something wrong with you, this isn't the case. If you truly feel there is and you just can get past that feeling, then you will need to find a cure you truly feel will work... that goes back to my first comment.

If you are going through a tough time in your life, at work, or with your family; then this may be the cause. Resolve these issues, if they exist, and your aneros woes will simply fix themselves, it is incredible how this works.

Treat yourself to something you will enjoy. Reward youself for not giving up, you know you are better than that. Stay away from the booze and drugs, these won't help. Last week I ordered a bunch of parts to build a new computer, I was excited. This computer is going to be soo fast, I can't wait. The next day I received an email that my parts shipped and I would get them the following day. That night my entire mid section was buzzing with energy. I couldn't believe it! I didn't get much if any sleep that night. I had the best sessions in and out of sleep the entire night ❗

Hang in there,
Marty

Excellent post MartyB, if I may say so.

rainstomp, please don't feel disheartened. Everyone's Aneros journey is unique and the whys and wherefores of that path can be mystifying and unfathomable. Try to accept where you are at each point on that journey for what it is at that time, if you can.

I presume that you've been given some treatment and/or advice with regard to your stagnant liver chi? Since prevention is better than cure, are you familiar with meditation that deals with our bodies internal chi? If you think such a practice would be appropriate for you I recommend you Google Mantak Chia and have a look at his meditation methods to see what you think. If you would be a newbie to this then keeping it simple by learning his Six Healing Sounds and the Inner Smile would be a very good starting point. Those alone might be enough to re-balance the chi in your body, depending on how severe the imbalance is. You might also like to reflect on your general lifestyle and what you are currently going through. Perhaps you might decide to make some changes? It's all too easy to slip into some less than ideal habits. I need to take my own advice!

In respect of your Aneros usage specifically I would heartily recommend rumel's HypnAerosession to you. I was using the Aneros on its own for some weeks before I downloaded HypnAerosession and it was only then that the Aneros really took off for me. I can't say in all conscience that it was entirely due to HypnAerosession or that it was co-incidental but it has certainly been a significant factor in my progress I think; if for no other reason that it relaxes me physically so deeply. I've tried lots of different relaxation methods over the years e.g. meditation, yoga etc but HypnAerosession trumps them all. So from your post it sounds like this might be helpful to you.

Lastly, I wish you all the best of luck with your situation. I hope you are able to sort out your chi soon and are able to start experiencing some of the great pleasure possible with Aneros use :).

Thanks for your advice. I have a difficult time finding the right information and support for this. My treatment is currently herbs and acupressure. I've also used acupunture, but the stimulation is too intense for me.

Excellent post MartyB, if I may say so.

Thank You, you bring up some excellent points I missed completely.

...prevention is better than cure...It's all too easy to slip into some less than ideal habits....

My post almost made it sound like sometimes only a cure will do, thank you for this clarification. It's those darn habits we don't know we have that will get us every time. The habits we know about are easy; we know we need to work on them.

No matter where you go, there you are!
Marty
