About a month ago I started having the most advanced progress I've ever had on my very lengthy journey, with my last post being me just sorta poking around for opinions. I have reached small conclusions but nothing concrete. As an experiment to myself I started using the Peridise models, and it feels like my experiment (adopting smaller models) was correct. I seem to be in what the forum describes as a calm seas state, combined with really nice aless. And my sessions seem to be gaining a dud free zone, where every session is on some level enjoyable.
But this hasn't come without an effect I can't really pinpoint as being an after effect, or something else. For reference I use a frozen combination of oils, namely coconut and shea but I'm experimenting what works and doesn't, basically used this forever. And after my sessions, the day after I feel sort of, achy? Not painful nor really all that discomforting, but noticeable. I've thought maybe involuntary contractions and the like could've just sent reactionary feelings and made things over react a little bit.
I also get a "heat feeling", which is vaguely unpleasant but otherwise not much else. I'm wondering if I'm agitating membrane linings or my colon? This still happens with the Peridise though I've only used it a couple of times at this point, and it isn't the same strength I get normally.
I was asking namely because given my surprisingly fast progress, and many mentions of lower abdominal warmth in posts/the wiki, if I'm just becoming aware of my prostate more. The only real posts I found were linked to cramping, which seemed to be a transient sort of issue that went away on its own seemingly. I can explain further if anybody has had something similar and is willing to share, thanks.
I avoid oils because I am very sensitive— they create a burning and even itching sensation for me, usually after 15-20 minutes, and the feeling sometimes lasts until the next day. I àm not saying this is the same as what you are experiencing but it is worth a try to switch to a glycerin-free water based lube, or for non silicone toys, a silicone lube.
I must say, for something so simple and something I've always sort of done I haven't thought much of it until now. I think I've been proven wrong, because not using oil anything seemingly got rid of what I was experiencing. Not only that but I feel like some of what I was feeling was actually a negative reaction, combined with a good reaction. Like mixing two signals together and one can't really take over until the other is out.
I've actually switched out for water based prior, glycerin free and such, but I find most sensitive formulas have citric acid and that seemingly irritated me prior. But I was mixing oils with it, and don't know what to think now. Certainly taught me something, thanks.
