Hello everyone,
It's been about month or two since I last posted here because of a problem that has been plaguing me lately.
Near the middle of December I discovered the ability to initiate orgasms at will basically, I stopped using my Aneros and enjoyed many orgasms without it, two weeks later I was starting to have urinary problems where I was having difficulty urinating and increased urge to urinate. I was put on a foley and since then I've been on a road of recovery, trying not to orgasm. In addition to this urinary trouble, lately I've been noticing an dull muscle ache in my rectum and perinal area, I'm guessing it could be my prostate, but I'm not sure. I've also had cloudy urine, though tests show no infection.
I went to a urologist, but he blew me off saying everything was fine. However, I was still having problems so I went to another urologist who seems actually interested in finding something that is wrong. He put me on Uroxatral (prostate relaxer) and that seems to have helped a moderate amount. I go back to see him on the 27th with my results and he'll probably run some more indepth tests (cystoscopy, etc...).
I was just curious if anyone has experienced anything remotely similar? I'm trying to learn as much as I can about urological problems so that I can have a decent back and forth with my new urologist.
I'm hoping whatever it is, it is something that can be fixed. I don't think I want to imagine a world where this amazing experience is shut off to me. 🙁
I have not had those results you are asking about. I have found that if I go overboard using my toys, like twice a day for a couple hours each time and three or four days in a row, my ability to urinate at will is slow to happen unless I am very full. I have a lot of anal contractions whenever driving or sitting for a while after lengthy sessions. That generally goes away after two days provided I don't have any sessions.
Another thing I noticed is there seems to be nearly constant arousal at my anus and I think I am going to crap myself but generally is just gas. I don't know why that is happening because I have not changed my diet.
I figure others have had the same problem when they first started because we tend to overdo a good thing. I am 62 and never in my life have felt so many contractions and muscles twitching in all parts of my body all at once of for a period of 20 seconds to a minute or more. I believe those muscles and nerves are also connected to my basic body functions like urination and evacuation.
I know this is not answering your question but simply telling you about changes that I have noticed since I started with the Aneros.
Just wondering if you have been completely honest with your Doctor. I have to believe it is an embarrassing situation for you if you have. If not then I suggest you tell him/her what probably brought this on. I know I get a PSA each year, a prostate exam and every five years a colonoscopy. So if I went to my doctor telling him about the questions you posed here without being up front with him, he would probably have to run all those tests you are going through only to find all things are normal.
I wish I was of more help.. Just some comfort that you know others are going to read your post and try to offer suggestion.

I haven't actually told him about all of this yet, mainly because I'm not sure if they are related or not, as I've had urinary hesitancy issues in the past (I always thought they were anxiety in nature, but perhaps not). The fact that I'm still having some problems 1 1/2 months later makes me even wonder if they have anything to do one another, as I've been trying to refrain from orgasming since the foley.
I'm debating whether to tell him or not, but I'm thinking that if I tell him he'll just tell me to stop orgasming without exploring other possibilities. I don't actually mind the idea of a PSA or cystoscopy (not looking forward to it though) if there is a possibility something else is wrong (Prostatitis, BPH, etc..). I guess what it all boils down to is that I want to make 100% certain whether something unrelated is wrong, as I don't want to give up this whole new world without a fight.
Though I could be a total idiot for not telling him yet, I may not be thinking clearly currently.
Hello Ashlen!
Missed you on the Forum lately!
I am sorry to hear about your physical problem and I wish you ALL th best!
I haven't had this type of problem and can't really help, but wanted to reply any way . . .
Hope you are well and back in action soon!

I think I've come up with a theory as to why this has occured.
This morning I woke up orgasming and couldn't seem to stop so I could go back to sleep, so I decided to give my Aneros a try after such a long period of inactivity. I was thinking that perhaps the Aneros was helping me, but when I stopped using it, that things started to go bad.
Anyway, while I lay enjoying myself, I switched up positions a few times and noticed that when I lay on my stomach that the pain I experience in the rectum and perineum started to surface and ached more and more, so I switched to my side and the pain went away. This got me to thinking that before my problem started a couple months ago, I was constantly orgasming on my stomach. Perhaps having my penis bent and held caused a kink, perhaps orgasming at that angle caused a problem, I'm not sure if it is even possible to cause a problem laying on one's stomach, but it's just an idea.
On a side note... damn that was a great session. First one I've had since I've gained my orgasmic ability, it did not disappoint.
Hi Ashlen,
"Wake up orgasming", now that is a high quality problem! I am glad that you seem to be getting a handle on the discomfort. It is up to everybody to find the method that works best for them. To this day, my best and longest sessions are when I lay on my stomach. Go figure!
Have a good one.
Ashlen I too have occasional cloudy discharge in my urine that started when i combined semen retention and A LOT of HARD pc muscle contractions. I was never able to determine what this discharge is this very day.
However i do have a high mucous level and a high calcium oxalate level in my urine. HOWEVER these conditions are present even when I do not have a white cloudy discharge in my urine
I also got prostatitis from masturbating while using VERY HARD PC contractions, the cloudy discharge preceded the prostatitis. I have been too many doctors and have had many lab tests on the mysterious while cloudy discharge I have in my urine. I never had an infection, I had semen samples taken. I never had a urinary tract infection my whole life
Also I have a friend who has a similar white cloudy discharge problem that he got from masturbating for long periods without ejaculation or orgasm of any type. I used to do this as well, and I think this practice is also detrimental to prostate health.
I think that if you contract the pc muscles too hard it can cause the prostate ejac valve to be trained release prostatic fluids at times. I never had any problems like this until I started to use the PC technique, mind you I practiced the pc tecnique hundreds of times VERY HARD every day. My problem is much less frequent now that I do not do pc excercises anymore. I only use light anal sphintor pulses when i use the aneros and it does not seem to effect my problem
My white cloudy discharge occurs only at the beginning of the urine stream, and tends to occur after prolonged periods of sitting. the white cloudy dischardge is almost nonexistant in the summer months and predominates during the colder parts of the year. My discharge NEVER occurs after waking up in the morning or after physical excercise
You should watch your discharge, and keep records of it to try and find out what it is. try and take a sample of it to a doctor to have him test it
If you would be so kind I am interested as to the nature of the kind of discharge you have. If you could describe if it comes at the beginnig or the end of the urine stream, if it settles after some time in the toilet, etc.
Also you can try peeing in a glass to get a better look at it. additionally you can add a little distilled vinegar to it to see if it dissolves. If it dissolves it may very well be calcium oxalate or phosphate crystals. have you changed your diet at all during this period of time?
wow, this is interesting. the cloudy urine sure is a mystery.
ashlen, when you say you are on a foley, do you mean it is in there all the time? or are you just using it to urinate or what?
i have been on uroxatral for a couple of years. it is a great drug. in my case i have what is called "bladder neck dissynergia" or "bladder neck dysfunction" which basically means that my bladder neck is spazzy and doesn't relax in concert w/ my bladder muscle (detrucor) contracting.
i also suffered for a long time with pain in my pelvis, mostly my right ball. i am basically cured now. there are many causes/theories about prostatitis/CPPS (chronic pelvic pain syndrome). in my case, the combo of muscular relaxation and therapy as described in the Headache in the Pelvis book plus a low dose of notriptyline, which is prescribed for neuropathic pain, has, over a couple of years vanquished the problem.
there is huge long and sorry history of urologists blowing off patients with CPPS because it is hard to figure out and treat.
as far as a kink in your wiener, i don't think so. but that position could be putting specific pressure either on your prostate or particular muscles inside you.
don't underestimate the phenomenon of referred pain. check out the HIP book. if you do end up subscribing to that theory, then buy a Crystal Wand Deluxe to self-administer internal muscle massage and myofacial release.
you probably want to find a urologist who specializes in prostatitis/CPPS. i did and it made all the difference in the world.
other points:
- you should definitely tell the docs about the aneros etc. you only harm yourself by concealing info.
- do you have prostate inflammation?
keep us posted

When it does happen (seems to be every 2 or so days and lasts a day), it seems to fluxuate. Some days it'll start out cloudy, some days it'll end cloudy, and some days it'll just be all around cloudy. Whispy cloudy.
ashlen, when you say you are on a foley, do you mean it is in there all the time? or are you just using it to urinate or what?
Actually, I was only on a foley for about 4 days. I was having difficulty afterward though, but I've been recovering since then and am almost completely back to normal (I think). I've been restraining from abusing the orgasms and taking Uroxatral, which I think both are helping. I do allow myself to orgasm once and a while, and use my Helix or Eupho once every 1-2 weeks though.

Hmmm.. wonder if that is what I might have, I have had spasming in my abdomen, though not as frequent in the last few weeks. The Doctor did a cystoscopy two days ago and saw nothing wrong, though he did mention that my bladder neck was a little tight. He also wants me to go see a neurologist next. How did your urologist find out about that problem?

I've been thinking of ordering that book after reading a post you made about it in the past, might give it a try and see what happens.

That's unfortunate. My first urologist did something similar, he basically just poked and prodded me, then told me I was fine.

I'm definitely considering it. In fact, I think I'll order them right now, might as well give it a try and see what happens. Though I am a bit ignorant about this whole thing, might have to bug you with some questions later 😉

Hmmm... I'll have to see what my urologist specializes in. This new one I'm seeing is a very good urologist, he's actually taking the effort to try and find out what is wrong. Rather than blowing me off like the last one.

Yeah, I ended up telling him tuesday. He seemed a little surprised, but really didn't comment on it much. As for my prostate, when he did the cystoscopy, he said my prostate looked fine, as well as everything else, cept for a little bladder neck tightness.
Thanks for the replies everyone.
