Other than the prostate, why is the rectum erogenous?

I wonder why do women enjoy anal sex since they have no prostate they also should not feel much in there? Isn't this weird?

Women do have a prostate...it's what's considered the G-spot. It's located behind the clitoris.

yep. Pleasure can be obtained by anus stimulation alone. Prostate pleasure is another. They're not the same.
