I have been using aneros for about a year and a few months. I have the helix and helix syn and the maximums. I can't seem to feel the helix like the maximums.
I was trying with helix yesterday and I start by laying on my back with a pillow under my butt and just enjoyed the feelings and then I started to move my butthole and I started to feel good and my legs start to like shake and then started to feel like I had to pee then went to go pee with the helix in and that didn't work out to well could not go much. I just couldn't get anything more going then that. What can I do to progress farther? Sometimes I feel myself tense up and I don't seem to know what to do to untense myself.
@mgd2013, yes tensing up can be problems. Most people report the best sessions when they are fully relaxed. I suggest you work on ways to relax better by taking perhaps a warm bath beforehand, meditation, yoga, some light reading. There are many things that can help. Also switching devices constantly or not giving one device sufficient time can cause no feelings. Try sticking with the helix for say a couple of weeks and see what happens, you may not be giving your body enough time to get used to it.
Being well rested before a session also helps, as opposed to after a days work!

@mgd2013,The first thing to do is to make sure that your bladder is empty immediately before you commence the session.
If you have done that, it is unlikely that the need to pee is genuine so, if you can get past the mental message, you should be able to continue the session without interruption. I do know how you feel however, and the need to pee seems to become a distraction. If that is the case, remove the tool, have the pee and immediately resume the session. I have found that this does work. After a few minutes, you should find yourself back in the zone.
I should also mention that this problem seems to be part of the rewiring process. You may feel the need to pee a few times during successive sessions but after a few of these events, the problem simply goes away.
Keep working at it and I wish you luck!
