i got the NEXUS REVO 2 the other day and tried it out of curiousity . holy crap!! its super agresssive and forcefull, ive never felt anything like it! has any one else ever tried it? it really blew my mind and i think it has made my normal aneros sessions more pleasurable
Aggressive and forceful..... Something the aneros experience should not nor ever be.
I've been tempted by it, the movement certainly looks intriguing :(|)
But it's expensive, and if it doesn't deliver, at that price, I'd be pissed.
Plus I hear it's loud, which is a deal-breaker.
The moving head looks intriguing indeed, so now I've got a Revo Stealth on the way. It's just too bad the vibration can't be tunred off, so I hope it's not too distracting.
@The Splash When you get it, will you IM me a review if you do not feel comfortable doing it here? It is way more than I would want to spend, but I am terribly curious about the motion. My prostate need more direct applied pressure to get the sensations other describe.
Can do, it'll probably arrive on Wednesday. Looking forward to a good impression.
I've used quite a few aneros and vibe models so far, but I also seem to have issues with contractions, so the movable head might be what's needed to hit the spot... literally.
Alright, so I bought one of these several months ago and it's been really inconsistant for me
Sometimes it feels lovely. Relaxation definitely plays a role, which Aneros has helped with.... but
sometimes it just feels awkward, either too much pressure/movement, or just not hitting any right spots.
Another problem I have with it though, is that it will often pop right out of me on its own, especially if I try doing any sort of contraction, or my body starts contracting on its own. Usually anytime it actually manages to feel good, or if I try masturbating with the device in.
Also getting the angle of my body right so that the device isn't occasionally pushing against the bed or my body in an uncomfortable way is sometimes a problem.
The vibration is disappointing for me, its not weak, but I find it more buzzy/annoying, like it triggers an "itchy" sensation rather than a particularity pleasant one.
One thing that I've tried to varied success, I need to experiment more with this, is finding something that can hold the device inside. I tried some tied string/rope once, tied on the base, and around my crotch like a thong, and one time doing this it felt the best I've been able to make it feel, but I haven't been able to reliably tie anything onto the confounded base of the device without a lot of slippage. Maybe an actual thong might work. So far my underwear hasn't been tight enough to keep it in though.
Curious to hear more about everyone else's secret/experiences with using it.
Ok that was quick. It just arrived today.
Let's get to it then. Just to make it clear, my model is the Nexus Revo Stealth, an advanced remote model of the regular Revo2, so I'm not sure about any major differences.
Form
It's about somehwere inbetween a Maximus and a Progasm, so definitely a large size model. But for a vibrator it's also surpisingly light, compared to the Vice. The base of it is pretty bulky, but at the very least it is smooth without any pointy spots. While sitting, the pressure should get evened out nicely, but I haven't tested a sitting session yet.
Features
I've read in a review somewhere that the Revo2 didn't have a no-vibe mode. I don't know if that is actually true, but it is definitely not the case with the Stealth. Head rotation alone without going numb from vibrations is very much possible. In total there are 14 possible configurations.
Head rotation: Slow/Fast
Vibration intensity: None/Low/Med/High
Vibe modes: Regular/Pulse/Escalation
Noise
I live together with a friend who I don't completely trust to disclose my nightly Aneros activities with, so noise is definitely a concern for me. Measuring the loudness of the different settings, with the mic as close to the Revo as possible gave me a reading of about 30-50dB, so not any louder than an electric toothbrush. This may sound like a lot, but then I left it on the bed and went outside my room. Even by concentrating I could not hear a single thing, and this is not even taking into account your body absorbing most of the sound.
If you are adventurous enough to wear it in public though, I'd probably recommend a lower setting 😛
Test run
Damn, that was interesting!
I've been on my aneros journey for almost 6 years now and somewhere I've hit a road block, mostly because of my mental stress but also because my rewiring process took a wrong route. With the Revo I definitely felt some immediate reactions, knowing how to differentiate between penile and prostate arousal, which lead up to a series of pretty intense dry-Os. I ended up masturbating after getting tired after 90 minutes, the ejaculation coupled with the movement just felt blissful.
I'm not really sold on the vibration modes, as they're very loud and almost too intense, but the head rotation the main attraction here, which I found gentle and quiet.
Verdict
I can't say if this thing is right for an already fully tuned body, but for me it was definitely worth buying despite being pretty pricy.

It's funny that you say that now, because usually my regular aneros very often pop out of me once the involuntaries happen, it's a real bother. The Revo however kept inside snuggly for the whole session! Clenching my legs around the base also helped and made the feelings even more intense.
@The Splash thanks for the review, very interesting. I had read reviews more like what @Zoop wrote too. How it was hard to get it to stay in place. But that was the Revo 2. But Holy Smokes it is $249.00 in the USA.
I cracked and bought one too a few days ago :))
Standard Revo 2.
First ride impressions...
The head-swivel-only mode is quiet enough, you could probably drown it out completely with music or TV on a reasonably low volume. But the vibration mode is way too loud... it reminds me of my phone vibrating. I found the vibration didn't really add much to the experience anyway, and it heavily distracted from the sensation of the rotating head. I rode with it turned off.
The sensation of the head swivel was fantastic, it really gets in there like a big tongue and moves things around. I was rock hard for most of it and had a lot of pre-cum (by my standards at least).
Physically it feels great, it's a very nice sensation... a gentle, deep
massage, it's the kind of movement that I'd love to have kick in when
I'm at a high point in an aneros session. When I first switched it on
inside me, I thought "Oh yes, this is what I want". And that general satisfaction and appreciation continued throughout the short session I had with it.
I could feel what I thought were big long anal involuntaries, the device being pulled in and out, but I can't tell if they were actual involuntaries or whether the motion of the head was pulling it in and out somehow. It did feel like my usual aneros involuntaries were getting involved though.
Which leads me on to my main, vague, minor disappointment... it doesn't really have that symbiosis where my involuntaries feedback with pleasure. It's there, doing its thing, and it doesn't care what I'm doing. Which is a really nice change in a way, but a part of me feels left out. I like the feeling of "having this thing being done to me, whether I like it or not", but it would be a lot better if the head rotation was random.
It's a very different kind of ride, very physical, very prostate-centered. If I relaxed and tried to get in sync with the timing of the rotation, I was able to melt into it and get some nice pleasure. I felt as if I might be able to cum hands-free, but I didn't have a lot of time to play with it.
There's usually a point in my aneros sessions where my prostate starts to feel tender, mushy, and really sensitive to movement, I did get there with the Revo, but the experience never reduces to subtlety. That zooming in on tiny sensations that I get in an aneros session.
Overall I'll reserve judgement until I've had a few more sessions with it. I think there could be a different mind-set that I might not be tuned into yet. And I'm interested to see whether this will feed back into my aneros sessions somehow. Not amazed with it, but not disappointed either, which is a relief given the price tag.
I think there is a placebo effect when trying out new devices. Long term use is the only way to find out if a new device is really all its cracked up to be.

I know, right? My body and mind are very often like on ADD during my sessions, so it's nice to have a device for a change that goes "shut up, lie down and let me do the work!"The head itself has a gentle and firm grip, but overall not too forceful. I've also experienced the mechanical involuntaries, which I do believe happen due to the rotation. If it's an actual part of the design, kudos to Nexus!

That may be true, and I'm also curious about the long-term effect. However, I've gathered quite a bit of a toy collection in the recent years. None have impressed me as much as the Revo so far. It's not an incredible world-changer, but definitely one of the most interesting of my new toys.
@The Splash and @Clenchy I have a drawer full of disappointments man another $150-$250 ,.... Hmmmm I want to hear your thoughts in a month, I hope it holds up I really do.

There definitely is. I wouldn't call it the placebo effect though personally, it is actually exciting and arousing to try out a new toy and that sets a certain mood. Not knowing what to expect, and the new feeling. I had that with the Maximus, amazing first session... followed by a lot of duds... only finding success with it after months.
Like I said, I'm reserving judgement.

I've had some expensive lessons too, which was why I held off buying one for so long. It was a moment of madness and not being able to take not knowing what it felt like.
I'm not telling anyone to rush out and buy one, I consider my review "luke warm", and "that was fun, looks like I won't have to throw it in the bin after all". It only barely justifies the price tag, and if I don't get to higher ground with it, then it probably won't in the long run. I think my review was written in the glow of this money-not-wasted relief.
But yeah, let's reconvene a month from now :-B
So this discussion sparked me to go and give it some more experimentation.
To be clear, I own a standard Revo 2. I managed to snag it for $90 on Pinkcherry during one of their MANY 25% off sales (they are even having one now)
Anyways. I tried keeping my legs raised with a pillow while laying on my back this time, and It seemed to do a lot to help. The device didn't pop out of me, and it felt a whole lot better. I think using too much lube could have also added to it popping out in the past. But I managed to use it over the last two nights for just over an hour both times without discomfort or issues. It felt pretty great at times. I don't think I've gotten any sort of orgasm from it, but I haven gotten to a point where it feels really great to the point where I almost feel like I could cum handsfree, but I doubt I could actually achieve that with it. Definitely gotten to a nice zone of sustained pleasure though.
Again, this is a recent success, but I've definitely had days where I feel nothing but discomfort, and the vibe STILL does nothing for me and is more of a distraction.
Some more thoughts:
-I do really like the charging feature. I can use the USB charging cord with my wall-plug USB phone charger easily. It lasts a really long time on a single charge too, like many multiple sessions (supposed to last close to 10hrs).
- The Revo 2 DOES have a NO-VIBRATE mode. And it's pretty quiet without the vibe, as others have said.
-Bummer/annoyance is its not waterproof and awkward to clean. I try to use a cloth, but I sometimes feel like I risk getting too much water on the wrong parts/crevices when cleaning it.
@xtimedt69 Ah, that's too bad. PC has been my go-to site as a Canadian. It's where I bought all my Aneros toys. You guys in the states have more options though I think. Annoying thing though, if they are out of stock of something the item simply dissapears from the site until they re-stock, sometimes it's hard to know if they do stock certain items at all.
@Zoop there was a patent dispute between nexus and Aneros. What I don't get is Amazon has it
For the record. I have a crap load of Aneros products. There is room for experimentation
lve finally bit the bullet and purchased one of these myself, lve heard its possible to just use the rotation function l was just wondering how this was achieved. fingers crossed mine arrives tomorrow, tho l had to splash out on some lube as none of the current is suitable which l also hope comes at the same time as lve been wanting to try this for a while.
I went to an upscale shop nearby to see if they carried the REVO 2. They did not. Instead I ended up with a similar unit, the Embrace Vibe http://shop.loverspackage.com/p-49002250-embrace-tapered-probes.aspx
This unit resembles my Helix Syn, but is longer and thicker. A nice feel and the extra length is great as it hits the spot that the Helix only tickled.
The different vibe settings are incredible with my favorite being the pulsing setting which starts at the base and works its way up to the tip.
I started out without any vibe on until I was warmed up with a couple of supers. Then I turned on the vibe and the Supers came non-stop, one after the other other. I had to turn it off a couple of times to catch my breath and enjoy the moment.
These vibrating toys really confuse me, many say that they are detrimental and distracting in a session, so e even saying their prostate is numbed by such devices. ITs the first time I've seen people say otherwise. I'm also amazed the aneros company sells one!
IMHO forget the vibes, they can be good if your really horny but no good if your not.Get yourself in to estim! even if you are having dud sessions at the time, estim yourself on a low setting and you end up leaking and orgaming all over the place!
A friend bought this and i have now bought it too and am waiting for it to arrive.
http://www.lovehoney.com.au/product.cfm?p=31234
I have a cheap chinese device that looks like the link you showed but it is estim not vibes.
It did not do much for my friend but as i am rewired it works great for me. I am sure the new probe i have ordered will even be better. Its about the size of a progasm.
It will wakeup your prostate and your prostate goes into sync with the rhythmic electric pulses which just drives the session on and on. On a low setting it just encorages the prostate not forces.
Had to be tried to be believed.
Aneros has not produced a estim progasm yet even though i have asked and this new probe is the closest thing yet. I will do a review on it hen i recieve it but i am told it is great.
Again vibes supposed to be bad! Especially to those still rewiring.... Right?
Two things;
-it looks like a rude boy, they're so hard to keep in, it looks horrible/angled!
- it's missing stuff? The pins, what are they? Needs a whole kit, which by looks is super expensive....
@inhope
The pins you are talking about is the elecro box you need to drive the probe.Estim means it gives you tiny little electric shocks. No vibrations at all.
The electricity makes your muscles move, different to vibes altogether.
You need a estim power box and wires and a probe and water based lube.
Take another look the insertable bit is just like a progasm.
Yes it is expensive but then you get what you pay for.
Once you have the estim box you can use it with any probe or cock ring or whatever.
Opens up a whole new world.
Do some reading look up Happy stim usa or dont.
I am reminded of a saying. You can only lead a horse to water, you cant make him drink it!
Maybe it not for you or just not yet as you seem to be hell bent on vibes or no vibes at the mo.
Thats fine I have been there to. But at least you now know there is another avenue to go down to 🙂
'Hell bent'? Haha! what on earth....!?
I just asked about them, was curious! What I'm not keen on with the e-stim is the fact that it costs so much for somethimg that might not work. So perhaps this 'horse' is aware that several purchases in the past of aneros and non-aneros devices (especially those of a larger size) resulted in nothing more than a stimulated wallet, emptying it's wad.
Seriously though it looks good but the total cost is quite insane for something that might not work at all. Does it need to be this steep? Yeah I get that it can work and that its all about taking a chance, exploring etc but this is a good 6 times more expensive than any aneros! What estim on that site would work with that device? How much is it? If it's reaosnable I will consider it.
Size wise: as I've said, a progasm is just too damn big, even a progasm JR I find is just bordering on being just too much! The smaller guys are yet again (pardon the pun) f*cked in the ass.
@inhope Nothing meant by it dude. Its just a expression meaning "you have your heart set on it"Yep guess your stuffed progasm is too big and vice will be even bigger ever so slightly and if pro jr kills sessions then a large progasm/vice will be no good at all.
Yes estim is expensive maybe you should concentrate your efforts on the smaller devices like helix.
If you really want to vibrate then i have heard that you can put a bullet vibe in the handle of the classic aneros versions like hilex, maximus, mgx etc. Maybe that is a cheaper option.
Whatever you do it sounds like you still need time for rewiring to happen.
I guess the reason they dont do a small guy vice is because your too small to do anything about it, so what are you gonna do about it sortstuff! LOL Only joking! Seriously they can only make the vibe so small so it wont fit in a smaller aneros. "The muse" which is the vibe in vice is the thinnest vibe i know of so maybe thats just the limit of the technology.
From memory i think there is a vibe bullet on the aneros shop website to do the job.
If i were to, one day, get into e-stim... what kit would I need that is compatible with the above toy you posted?

No worries @braveneworld 🙂 you have sort of got me excited about this more than anything .
So i found a kit that includes the massager and the e-stim kit... went and bought it. I really have no sense, but I'm quite excited by all this, really hope it works in some way.
I also like the idea of estim but soooo confusing.
What's confusing ineverknew?
