Hi,

I am new to the world of prostate messagers. I have been reading a lot of blogs and posts about the different aneros products and came to the conclusion that the Helix Syn would be a great toy to start with. Today, I wanted to buy it. However, after having made the purchase I realised I bought the Eupho syn instead of the Helix Syn. I saw the Eupho syn being listed under the advanced category on the product page of this site. Tomorrow, I will receive the eupho and wanted to have your opinions on whether I should keep it or return it and get another one. Like I said before, I have never used any toys before so I guess it will be harder to reach the Super-O. Furthermore, I just discovered that there is also the Helix Syn Trident, confusing me even more. I would be great if anyone could advice me.
Thanks

Hi and welcome to the forum,
the Eupho Syn has been my first tool too and still is one of my absolute favorites. Most of all it‘s even more movable and agile than the Helix Syn I own too. From my experiences and point of view, I would keep it. It has helped me with an easy start into the Aneros way of prostate massage and still provides breathtaking sessions. But that‘s only my personal view. Keep in mind that most of us don‘t stick to one tool only. If it‘s not the best for now, it may be the best as your next Aneros.
I wish you the best for your journey,
Mart
P.S.
Please keep in mind, that the tool you use is a notable factor but only one factor among others to consider. At least privacy, relaxation, focus, openness for new unknown and sometimes extreme subtle sensations and even simply patience are eminent factors to take care for too. Good luck after all!
P.P.S.
Because you already mentioned "to reach the Super-O" as a kind of goal, please consider it to be something that can't be chased but only invited to visit you. To get an idea how your mind state can support your journey, I'd like to suggest Rumel's Ruminations as a most helpful reading matter:

Years ago, veteran member 'darwin' authored a wonderfully succinct post titled relax, relax, RELAX which primarily addressed the physical relaxation needed to get into the Super-O zone. Getting into a relaxed physical state, sufficient to allow the orgasm to come to you, is an important learned skill. This is likely contrary to the muscular tension/control techniques (western culture) men have become accustomed to in their masturbatory practices. Part of the "rewiring" is learning to let go of the old techniques and learning new ones, like physical relaxation during orgasm.

@mat If I were you, I would definitely NOT return it! Reason being, if you use and like the Helix Syn and progress with that, I think you will love the Eupho products as well. I understand often times there are financial constraints that would prevent you from buying two at a time, but I would keep the Eupho for future use and then order the Helix Syn if you are able. I know all of the different models get confusing, but I really think you can't go wrong learning with the Helix Syn. It was the model I learned on (about 1.5 years ago) and it is still one of my favorites. For me, it is always reliable and produces great results (just today as a matter of fact!). If this were me, and I had returned my Eupho, I'd have been buying it back again within a few months LOL. While you are waiting for your new toys, make sure to spend lots of time reading in the wiki and forum. And don't hesitate to ask questions here- there are lots of guys willing to impart their years of knowledge and wisdom. Hope that helps!

I agree completely with the consensus here. The Eupho is special because of its movement. As you progress with the Helix, you will find out the special qualities of the Eupho. If your budget allows, I would definitely keep it.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I decided to keep the eupho. I could not wait and tried it out already and experienced a tingling sensation during the first session so I guess I am progressing in the right direction 🙂

@SOwithoutAneros thanks for the tips, I will definitely check out Rumel's Ruminations.

Welcome, friend, and don't ever return anything. Keep and collect, like @HereByAccident says.

I've been in for about a year now, and I own every model. I kept thinking that I was missing something as I tried new models over the months; one didn't do what I thought it was supposed to, maybe my prostate was in the wrong spot, maybe that model didn't work with my favorite positions or techniques...I was wrong on all counts. I didn't like the Eupho at all, and it stayed in the drawer for months until out of curiosity I went back to it, and it danced and delighted--because I had progressed in my understanding of my body and the sensual responses I generated, not what each toy did on its own. No toy 'works' or 'doesn't.' It's all how we progress with them. Each offers a different relationship. Everyone knows that Mexican food is the food of the Gods, but we'd get sick of it if we ate it every day, right?

Frankly, Aneros are just pieces of plastic; our bodies do the work. We adapt and learn, and like sexual stimuli, no exact same thing arouses and provokes the same way every time.

The best advice I could give you has already been said many times by much more experienced users, but in sum, you should relax, enjoy, and experiment. Don't compare your results to those of others--that leads you down the dark side, young padawan. I haven't experienced all the zany bliss and Mega-Os that many report on these boards, but I have had amazing moments of pure sensual pleasure, buzzing, warmth, deep serenity, and erotic weightlessness. Not much of it makes sense, but the closer you are to real relaxation and release of expectations, the better you'll do, given time. That's the only thing anyone can promise--you'll feel good things if you take it easy.

Cheers, and best of pleasures.

Z

I could eat Mexican food every day, and my helix syn was all I had for 6 months and I used it exclusively almost every day... but now I got the eupho too, and I don't regret it. I also eat a lot of other foods other than mexican, but that's mainly because it's hard to find the right ingredients in Europe. Oh yeah, and because no one talks about it much here, but unfortunately spicy food and beans are totally no good for having comfortable butt play. This seems crazy but I avoid spicy and gas-inducing food altogether now. Between an orgasm in my mouth and an orgasm in my butt... I choose the latter!

And I agree with everyone here. Keep it. Get the helix too. Have lots of fun.

@divine_oblivion

Spoken like a gentleman! And I could eat Mexican food every day too. I was assuming there were weirdos out there who might not want to, but I don't generally associate with such types...

Tough about the spices. Maybe an antacid? I couldn't do without my spices.

Best of Pleasures, and Ole!
