I am looking at buying a new device to use. Was wondering what you would recommend. I already have the original aneros.

What model do you mean by "the original"? The MGX?

Generally the Helix and Maximus are great models. Progasm Jr. has also received a lot of praise.

The Helix and Maximus are very similar, with the Maximus just feeling a bit more filling.

I just bought the helix Syn today and am looking forward to experimenting with it. They also sold me Pjur Man Extremeglide and said it was fine to use even though it is silicone based. Is this true? Don't want to mess this thing up on first use. Thanks

I have always heard that silicone lube will degrade silicone toys.

Thanks - Me too that's why I ask they assured me that this won't yet they also sell them so they either are correct or making things up to sell more products after they degrade. Looking on here to see if there is a common lube people use but haven't found a post relating yet. Doesn't look like the forum can be searched.

@pincogneato,I have never used a silicone-based lube on a silicone made tool. From the advice given universally by those who have tried this, I would say DON'T!

If you are looking for a quick solution to your requirement for a lube, try any water-based lube to start with. However, bear in mind that water-based lubes usually break down during the session and usually tend to dry out within an hour or so.

My recommendation is to use certified unrefined shea butter but you may have to obtain this by buying it online. I have been a confirmed user of shea butter over the past almost six years; having sessions that for for two hours or more, three times a week, and have never had a problem with it.

Try doing a search on "shea butter" in the search box at the top of this page and I'm sure you will find lots of tips and opinions on it.

Good luck!
