Hi guys, need some help identifying my progress please.

in my latest session, I started having some really strong contractions around the abdominal and pelvis region, to the extent of my arching my back and whole body (but mainly upper half body) bucking uncontrollably. Some of the contractions are so strong that it felt like my abdominals are almost cramping up.

However, I am not experiencing any intense pleasure described by some of you guys. Yes there is pleasure but I wouldn’t say it’s out of this world. If I had to describe it, I would rate it lower than a traditional orgasm.

im using a helix syn and the “do nothing” method. Thank you!

In the Milestones paragraph of the Aneros WIKI you will see listed "Large muscle quaking (no pleasure)". What you are experiencing is certainly progress. As you learn to more deeply relax (please see @darwin's post relax, relax, RELAX) your muscles, these large scale muscle spasms will decrease and the underlying associative pleasure waves will become more apparent. It is all part of your Aneros journey. Good Vibes to You !

P.S. I sent you an introductory Private Message (Newbie's Notebook) with some additional hints and tips to get you started here. Click on your 'Messages' button in the Forums to retrieve it.

Definite progress. What I would call "real "pleasure" didn't start for me until I got past the "tremors" stage.

Sounds like you are on the way!

I just had the same experience you are talking about yesterday. I went through five waves of the contractions. I was wondering if I was on track.

Hello, I have had a similar experience, I am yet to have a super O from my aneros but I have had a lot of pleasure, couple of nights ago I was able to make me whole body shake, it came from my abdomen and it would shake faster than I have ever shaken in my life, the shaking in general was pleasurable . I have also been shaking and I almost felt a orgasm building in my thighs. Good luck

I had a very similar experience recently too. Mine was mainly in my lower body. I had used the term "small seizure-like", but tremor is a better term. It's good to know we are on the right track and that there are a few of us at the same point in our journey. 🙂

I should finish my post from the other day. After the five waves of pleasure, I had sex with my wife. This is after having my Aneros helix in for a few hours, I had the longest orgasm I have ever had. I just shook with wave after wave of orgasms/pleasure. My wife said she didn’t have to ask if I had an orgasm.

If I feel my body contracting, do I go with the flow or fight against it? I.e force myself to relax further?

I'd suggest letting your body do what it wants to do, but not forcing anything.

Let everything out of your body. Relaxation is not a matter of fighting, it's a matter of submission. Give in to your pleasure.

Agreed. As I said in chat earlier, the "do nothing" method is not about total inactivity, but more of acute observation of the tiniest movement or sensation.
