Hello everyone! This is not my first time on the forums, but it is my first post. and i'd just like to say how impressed I am with this welcoming and helpful community.
My journey began about 6-8 months ago when I got my first Aneros - SGX classic.
It was my first anal experience so I took my time getting used to having it inside. after a while I'v researched the wiki and made my progress slowly. looking back, I see now that I'v made a common mistake of making my contractions too strong, but I'v experimented alot with breathing,
rectal anal contraction combinations and positions.
After a while I was starting to get some powerful sensations. specifically when I would use mainly anal contractions, and hold my breath&contraction for 10 seconds each, I'd start experiencing some involuntary rectal contractions, that kind of tried to push my device outward. and it was quite pleasurable.
The first time I tried to relax my body further and use less powerful contractions, I was doing alot of anal , and then a bit of rectal contractions
when suddenly I felt a tickling sensation starting from my fingertips and moving inward in my torso. then, my vision became darker and hazier, and I was breathing fast shallow breathes.
was that a super-o? dry-o? I'm still not sure, but it wasn't too pleasurable. just a bit more relaxing and weird. I'd love for someone to help me interpret what it was. unfortunately, I tried to recreate that session many times with no success.
In recent months I'v also purchased the Helix, and Progasm Ice designs which I enjoy very much. I'm alternating between the 2, as I'v noticed they give quite a different sensation.
My main focus recently is to really try and relax as much as I can,and use the most relaxed and easiest contractions possible.
my sessions tend to last between 1.5 - 3 hours, any further and I usually run out of patience.
I get more powerful sensations than I used to at the beginning, but none the less I feel a bit stuck now, as I'm not sure if I should be prolonging my sessions longer and keep relaxing as much as possible, or try and work my contractions differently for something further to happen.
The most interesting session I had lately, is a couple of days ago late at night I just turned the lights off, inserted the helix and closed my eyes lying on my back and working on very light contractions. after a while, I'v started experiencing something odd..
occasionally, a paralyzing wave would wash over my body pulsating from my prostate outward.
I'v experienced a few P-waves before, but I don't think that was it,and they started to become longer and more powerful. it felt a bit scary so it put me off of it I think.
But afterwards, I think I must have started to fall asleep when suddenly it was like I was struck by lightning. my heart was pounding for no reason and I felt a tickling wave wash all over me,it took me a good few minutes to relax again.
I know I should probably repeat this kind of session, but I'm a bit wary of these paralyzing waves.
I would very much appreciate any thoughts to help interpret my experiences!
It seems you experience new things and the sensations are getting stronger which is a good sign. Don't be scared about any sensation the aneros produces! They are not harmfull for the body! Just surrender to the sensations and let the aneros do the rest! The sensations you described in the end may be sensations that you get when you are building up towards a Super O. Again, surrender to the sensations and don't be afraid! Don't pursue it either, it will only impede the build up and progress!
There are a few things you need to know and can try out to see what they do to you:
Arousal: Being aroused in one of the the ingredients for pleasure with the aneros. Having a simple erection isn't enough. You also need mental arousal. You need to be aroused in the brain as well, not only the physical.
Relaxation and surrender: You need to be tottaly relaxed and surrender to the sensations. This means you shouldn't be scared, because that will stop build ups of sensations and impede progress. Don't pursue things as well! A thing you may try is stopping using contractions and let the contractions come to you. Try the do nothing technique (look for it in the forum).
Energy: You might want to try a few of these techniques out: https://community.aneros.com/forum/discussion/16206/using-the-force-039a-new-way-to-rewire039#Item_20
Less can be more: Try to focus on the tiniest sensations and try to enjoy them. Many great orgasms lay behind those small and little sensations you experience during a session. Try to focus on them and enjoy them. With this, try to focus on the whole body and everything you feel.

Hi and thanks alot for the comment :)first of all I'v actually seen your thread already, and I'v started some of these techniques already! it sounds great and i'll be sure to share any results over there!
About arousal, actually up until now I'v been watching porn in every one of my sessions, and i'm indeed trying to build up some arousal.
interestingly, in the night session when I'v had some new results it was the first session when I'v had no arousal or porn at all! maybe it was the half sleep state I was in, I wouldn't know.
That's some great advice about relaxation and surrender! I'v actually tried the do nothing approach more than once, with little results, but the level of relaxation I'v described in my recent sessions certainly comes close to the same approach. as i'm almost not focusing on contractions at all,
rather, i'm focusing on breathing and letting the muscles contract lightly by themselves while i'm breathing. I'm definitely feeling like this relaxation and surrendering approach is the way to go though, so
i'll keep focusing on that 🙂
@Aiden: for a number of reasonsI am and remain against porn as an asrosal technique. You can see the pros and cons in threads over the past years. But ultimately, with this journey, it's WWFY -- whatever works for you! And what works one day might not work on another. I would encourage you to read thru some of the blogs instead of porn. Several are well written, very descriptive, and for me are effective in arousing.Just enjoy the journey, and Cheere!
Your paralyzing waves sounds like the hypnagogic state of consciousness Read about sleep paralysis at http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypnagogia#Sleep_paralysis. it's normal to experience this occasionally but it is scary. I get it sometimes on awakening (hypnopompic). It's caused when REM atonia begins earlier than usual at the twilight state between sleep and wake.
I don't know why it happened when you were riding and it may not happen again. An interesting description of thought processes at the edge of sleep see http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypnagogia#Cognitive_and_affective_phenomena. A few others here have reported similar phenomena.
It's nothing to be worried about. Sounds like you're doing well and on the right track.
@Armon-neat I agree with not using porn to get aroused. It has many disadvantages!
@euphemistic Interesting!
@Armon-neat interesting idea with the blogs, erotic reading should be very stimulating! I'll try to give up porn stimulation for a while and see what happens!
@euphemistic wow I'v had a feeling that these weren't just P-waves as some people have told me, and now after reading this i', quite convinced. it might just have been a product of going into half sleep state more than the aneros
I have this nasty habbit of finishing off wet with a traditional orgasm after a session that i'm trying to get rid of. however, I did try at some point in my journey to avoid wet orgasms for some time, and my sessions involved some physical pain at the time. my guess is due to my glands being full.
