Only received my Helix Syn today,
Also it is my first time with any sort of anal play. I was eager but a little afraid that I won't get the desired results.
Knowing it may take a while before I do experience complete pleasure.
Lubed up and had a go, the insertion met with quite a bit of resistance since I've never really stuck anything up there before.
After fully inserting it, I felt that I needed to visit the toilet but the sensation passed.
After 10 minutes of laying there and contractions I didn't feel anything special, I think that it was pushed against my prostate but
didn't feel any waves of pleasure. I have a feeling I wasn't aroused enough as I was completely flaccid (I already had 2 regular orgasms earlier in the day)
After 30 minutes I decided to call it quits masturbated with it still inside and it produced a fairly good orgasm.
Removed it, cleaned up and sat down for a while. 2 hours later I'm still feeling a slight pushing sensation inside..(air might be trapped)
I'm aware I must persevere in order to reach the point that I want. I may try again tomorrow without masturbating at all.
Just wondering if this was normal, or is my Helix not fitting me correctly?
Also cleaning it with regular hand wash and very hot water would suffice without damaging it in any way?
I think this is pretty normal when you're starting out. I'm new to this myself and in my first sessions I didn't relax enough. I thought I did, but then I started breathing deeply and realized I wasn't actually relaxing at all. Try not to think so much about "doing it right" and just let stuff happen.
As you said, you probably weren't aroused enough. You should try going a couple of days without masturbating and build up some excitement before you do it. The Aneros won't magically make you horny, you need to be in the mood. All it does is make it more intense when you're already horny.
It's normal to feel a little "weird" back there. After all, you're not used to sticking things up there.
Washing with soap and hot water is fine, at least that's what I've been doing.
@manic99 Sounds like you are off to a good start! Welcome to the group! I discovered recently that I usually am too eager to get my sessions started. Before, I felt like I had to "push" the Aneros in for immediate results. Instead, now after lubing-up, I gently guide it to start and due to its size and shape, it "pulls" itself in to where it belongs. Sometimes it takes a little time. The only thing I check is to make sure that the p-tab is correctly positioned. The Aneros knows where it belongs inside my body and eventually will find its home.
When starting out, IMHO you should avoid masturbating to ejaculation too soon after a session ends. You want to isolate the prostate orgasms from the usual penile-induced orgasm. I know sometimes it is inevitable since the arousal is so great. In time, you will learn to separate the two pleasures. Good luck to you!
PS After washing with soap and water, I give the Aneros a quick wipe-down with alcohol then rinse with water. Works for me.
I got my Helix Syn on Saturday. I think it's a good idea to have not shot your load for a while. Whilst my first session was a bit of a mixed bag, I got some good sensations from the device, which I might not have had if I had sex recently.
My mistake though, after about an hour and a bit, was to finish myself off with a regular orgasm with it inside. I only say this because I felt my next session the next day was similar to yours. Still it was a good first session nonetheless.
Take it slowly when putting the device in you, and I would say it's definitely worth going to the toilet before using. I have been washing myself out, but since I'm new to this I'm finding that part of the routine the most difficult.
Warm, soapy water I think works fine. Although if I stick it right up to my nose there's a slight nutty smell. It's not enough to bother me, but if anybody knows how to overcome this, unless it's just the silicone, I'd be interested to know.
Your Helix is probably fitting in exactly as it should. Although I have noticed that the P-tab keeps going to one side which is a bit annoying. Other than using my fingers to try and keep it where it needs to be, I'm not sure how else to solve it.
Breathing and contractions are the two things I've figured out to be the most important on the physical side in the two to three days I've been using it. Although a lot of it is non-physical. Not sure how to go about this part other than giving it time and practice, and seeing where it goes, but I can say it is definitely worth the endeavour!
