@canacan i am new here so I don't want to come across too strong. Plus, I promise I'm not trying to be hostile with my next statement- bold statements need concrete examples. Could you give examples of what is wrong and what constitutes the right research?
Sorry for being a bit of an ass with my free speech on these subjects. I tend to allow myself this when I think people on this board have enough of a common experience that they would eventually agree.
I didn't really think in terms of right or wrong here. My use of the word "right" was a bit clumsy. Then again I probably think along these lines after all. Somebody's right might be somebody else's wrong. What would be right for me is whatever would help answer my questions based on my limited experience that, despite my online rsearch (i may have missed some gems) seem to have never been half understood, let alone investigated by serious researchers. What would be "wrong" wouldn't be all other researches, but rather the extremely biased waste of time and money with an agenda i would deem detrimental (to me and to what I consider good for humanity... Yes it is heavily biased too). It is hard to sum up every reserch I would consider wrong I often wouldn't even imagine them before the study is presented to me and I go "WTF?!".
As to right, it is easier to answer. It is mostly based on what I already know (from experience) even though it hasnt been proven and avoids searching directions me and many people here (because our experience is similar) know to be dead ends or weak leads and would push knowledge much further. I am a friend of knowledge and wisdom. Therefore I want more of it for me and others. Whatever might do that (or I think does) will probably be labeled good by me. I already have a lost of "good" ideas. I'd certainly favor everything on it.
But most research mainly try to find chemical solutions to sell to sad people.
Of course this all is from my very limited point of view and experience... Just like anybody else.
Anon-User36,

@canacan there are entities that do sexual research but there are not many. Take for example www.kinseyinstitute.org, I wonder if this phenomenon is even on their radar. I am suddenly hit with the desire to e-mail those guys!FYI, I did email the Kinsey Institute several years ago regarding any studies they had done or were planning on MMO's and was told no such studies had been done or were planned for. I suspect if they were to start receiving multiple requests about such a topic then the administrators of that organization would take notice.
Good Vibes to You !
@Canacun,
LOL, Well it would most certainly be an interesting study of neurology. One that may have many other implications that haven't yet been thought of as often happens during the discovery phase of research.
How far into the future - Who knows, but I agree it will happen, whether it is for profit or in the name of science or medicine!
Can't wait... But also suspect perhaps it wont be seen of my living... Who knows?
So who would personally sign up to demonstrate a SuperO for the nice, friendly researchers? Anyone? If I had the opportunity, I think I'd very seriously consider it. I don't know if it's because I have some undiscovered medical fetish though.
"Yeees, write down your observations about what my balls are doing, oh yeah, you're doing dirty science"
:))
Mostly I think I'd do it out of the ego boost of being some kind of remarkable specimen, or the scientific acknowledgement that I have super-powers or that I'm a special snowflake. I'm sure there are any number of motivations.

None of us would meet the acceptance criteria. The study would require fresh meat! Virgin Butts! Nice title for a porn flick!
If i remember right, Mantak Chia mentionned some studies of MMO (with heartbeat and other signs monitoring) and the conclusion they do indeed seem to exist. Doesn't seem very in-depth... But it apparently happened.
Thing is, when you have no idea what you are looking for, chances to get new insights are thin. From what I read what we do is just considered some rare unexplained cases... Nobody wants to redefine the models just to include us... Consequently failing to realise the model is very wrong... Thank you not Dr Kinsey.
i wouldn't signing up for a brain scan during one of my more out of body, blissgasms. Plus, there is taking blood samples before and after to see what gets released.
Of course my girlfriend would need to be nearby for afterward as well. She gets a quite the shagging post super O (:

"The headquarters for orgasm, along the spinal nerve, is something called the sacral nerve root, which is back here. And if you trigger, if you stimulate with an electrode, the precise spot, you will trigger an orgasm."

i'm just *curious* about *how many* orgasms a guy can have in an hour, some sources say the max is "16" but I am sure many of us Aneros users have had more non-ejaculatory orgasms than 16.
FYI I am *not* obsessed or overly concerned with counting my orgasms, other than having a little fun personally challenging myself/seeing how long I can have an Aneros session for, as I've seen posts from some members here that have had 3 to 4 hour sessions. I do relax and just enjoy all manner of orgasms i do have during an Aneros session.

I am not surprised at all. But it is good that people start mentioning it. Maybe the myths and misconceptions about orgasm are slowly starting to fall.

There obviously is some kind of obsession.
just general curiosity. but it has been several weeks since I had an aneros session since I was sick with strep throat for over 3 weeks (it and the lymph node infection is completely gone now).
Now I'm waiting for my Helix Classic to come in the mail. LOL so ive been craving a session and have holding off until i get my helix.
I don't think about "how many orgasm can i have" everyday or something like that. Just reminiscing/waxing philosophical in a sense. When I have an aneros session i just clear my mind and enjoy for about an hr and a half or so and not worry or think about anything just focused on deeply relaxing and feeling the warm and fullness of my prostate and let the rest happen naturally.
