Okay so let's say one day after not masturbating for a longer time (3 weeks) I loaded up my porn and when I saw it I had this insanely strong reaction to it and my penis got so erect that after few seconds I could ejaculate.

Orgasms without direct physical manipulation sound like fun but here comes the kicker.. since that day I cannot masturbate the normal way... I simply don't feel any nice friction from my hand so maintaining an erection is pretty hard and just imagine what happens during sex. Using fleshlight didn't help... i can't focus on the friction...

So yes ladies and gentlemen I get flaccid real fast because there's no real pleasure from the friction.. it's like my hornyness is directly translated into electric impulses into the area which is responsible for starting the orgasm... i tried and tried to masturbate the normal way but I only could do it once long time ago and after that I coudln't repeat it... but the feeling of being stimulated by the friction and not directly by brain being horny was super great.. it just felt so great to masturbate without the auto-orgasm thing in it.. i could only do it by somehow focusing on my leg muscles so the freaking auto-orgasm thing woudln't interfere... i tried abstaining even for 2 weeks and yes the direct link between the brain and orgasm was weaker but i still coudn't masturbate the way i wanted ... it's starting to really bug me if i'll ever be normal again cause it will destroy my sex life.. even in my wet dreams i feel the same sensation but actually i can't ejaculate.. so the dreams in which i have sex are no longer wet

So i've been thinking if having prostate orgasm will over time reset this freaking auto-orgasm thing so i can again learn the good ol' choke the damn chicken and make the friction work. Do you think it might work? Is there any connection between prostate orgasms and the normal ones?

Morituri,

Welcome to the Forum,

You have described a curious condition, could you provide us with some more information? Was Aneros use involved with any of this? When you say orgasm are you talking about an ejaculatory experience? Are you aware that ejaculations and orgasms are not the same thing but are two different events? What exactly do you mean by “...auto-orgasm thing...” ?

From what you have described, it sounds like you have suddenly 'rewired' yourself for HFO's (Hands Free Orgasm), but now have an inability to return to the previous masturbatory mode. Is this correct?

As to your question - “Is there any connection between prostate orgasms and the normal ones?” By “...normal ones...” I am presuming you are speaking about penile stimulated orgasms. Yes, I believe they are connected in that stimulation of the penis simultaneously stimulates the entire genital area including the prostate. The main difference between the two has to do with the focus of stimulation. The type of orgasm you receive through prostate stimulation is different from a penile, nipple or anal based orgasm.

I don't know if prostate based orgasms will “...reset...” you to a previous state or not. You can't 'un-ring' the bell but just as you can learn to modify the bells sound in the future, you can learn new ways to direct your body in the future. I don't believe you've really lost the ability to have a traditional ejaculatory orgasm, that knowledge is encoded in your DNA, you may be experiencing a displacement of focus on this new way of having orgasms. I suspect in time your body will exert more and more pressure to return to that fundamental paradigm of pleasure we men usually learn during puberty.

If you continue to be troubled by this situation, I encourage you to visit AASECT.org. The American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists is a not-for-profit, interdisciplinary professional organization. In addition to sexuality educators, sexuality counselors and sex therapists, AASECT members include physicians, nurses, social workers, psychologists, allied health professionals, clergy members, lawyers, sociologists, marriage and family counselors and therapists, family planning specialists and researchers, as well as students in relevant professional disciplines. Aneros wasn't involved with any of this. It just happened one day all by itself...

Yep I somehow learned the HFO and it's very very hard to revert back. I try to masturbate without trying to HFO (which is easy as pie for me) and just feel the pleasure from friction but it always creeps into every attempt. HFO's are pretty strong but are also very very tiring and I feel horrible after them. I'm also pretty sure i didn't lost the normal ability because from time to time I can again feel atleast 5% of the old masturbation style. It's there but it's so hard to get back 🙁

I hope that if I aim for a period of let's say a month or two on the prostate orgasms the brain would rewire a bit so the HFOs atleast woudln't creep back into every normal masturbation attempt.

Reading some of the posts on this forum sure is interesting. HFO's seem more and more to me as a road to hell and not enlightement. When i think about it throughout the day i feel there's something wrong with my prostate and the whole surrounding area.. i feel alot of tension in there (so much tension than whenever i sit i can feel the area and it's distracting) and i can feel alot of times my balls moving.. maybe relaxation through prostate massage might be the key 🙂
