In my quest for a better way to strengthen my pelvic floor ie. kegel exercises, a few weeks ago, I stumbled across an article about the Levator Prostatae Muscle. In males it’s the most medial fibers of the levator ani (pubococcygeus) muscle. It extends from the pubis into the fascia of the prostate. Yes!

With a little practice and attention to the sensation, have learned how to isolate this muscle and contract it while relaxing all other muscles in my pelvic aria.

Levator Prostatae Muscle Contractions, LPMC as I’m calling it, is when this muscle is repetitively contracted or “pulled”, my pelvis rotates ever so slightly and I can feel my prostate being lifted just a bit. Along with proper breathing, the feeling I get is like a pair of small, silk gloved hands caressing the sides of my prostate. Yes! And with this imagery in mind, the white gloves, after a while, I “come” to an incredibly sweet, trembling orgasm. And then comes the wave of dopamine that completely washes over my body. Oh, yees! And now I need a nap.

The beauty of this is that it’s hands free, no ejaculation, no clean up, no cover up and no refractory period. All the fun, no baggage. My only draw back, at this point, is like any other muscle, it gets exhausted after a while and I need a little rest. However, I’ve been able to orgasm seven times in a three day period, so…

This is incredibly enjoyable when my wife is shopping in Walmart while I’m “waiting” in the car. I’m getting better at this.

On our way home my wife tells me “You seem so mellow the last few days, must be that Ashwaganda you’ve been taking.” I just smile and say, “Must be… you may want to try some.”

Thanks for your replies.

@mr-nuts

Thank you so much for sharing this story!

I have never taken "Ashwaganda" but I will try to train my pelvic muscles better.

Following your lead, I found some YouTube videos and images

That's very interesting @mr-nuts. I will also try to isolate this muscle, which I didn't really know about before.

@gulliver-plus here is a video which specifically shows the levator prostatae in 3D (at around 4min): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P3BBAMWm2Eo

Looking at this video with a 3D model of the pelvis, it makes me suspect that the puborectalis muscle may also be far more important in the movement of the Aneros than previously thought. When it contracts, it must pull the Aneros in towards the prostate.

Nice write up. Very prudent working on isolating PF muscles and gaining independent control of them. This will only aid members on journeys, did some mapping of the floor myself back in the day hehe 🙂

Yes,it does. All the muscles down there work together in harmony for many functions. A layman’s explanation would be that anything north in the picture make the toy press against/apply pressure to the prostate and anything south in the picture makes the toy moves back and forth rubbing the ‘face’ of the prostate. Aless is similar except you use musculature instead.

Great explanation ! That's the way I understand it, too. I'll add that pressing against/applying pressure can mean both "tap-tap-tap" or adjusting pressure as the toys glides back and forth. More pressure makes feelings stronger but also make it more difficult to move the device. Little pressure makes the back and forth motion quick and easy, but the feeling is more subtle.

As always, a part of this is visualization and it can be different from what is actually truly happening, so it will also vary with individuals. amount of lube, muscle control, etc.

Excellent video!!!!!!! 3D model makes everything clearer!

https://www.youtube.com/c/Anatomyzone/featured appears to be a great & very professional source of learning.

Thank you so much!

Yes,I should have included that contracting and relaxing of the musculature can be a tap too,or knocking, poking, whatever each guy see in his perspective.

I've had some or a random idea of these muscles when doing sessions. I never knew why I felt sensations on the sides of my prostate. This post, and attached diagrams and video clarifies what these small muscles are that we have and where they are. This will help me and I'm sure others. Good post.

Thanks @mr-nuts for sharing your anatomical learning and the silk gloved hands visualization.  Great, @gulliver-plus for the addition of pictures and videos, worth 1,000 words.  @lanoix, I must mention that remarkable rotating visualization of the region I should play again.  Wow that it shows the view from inside-out, and not just outside-in.  I agree with @zaqpol of the utility of this all for our awareness.  True, @zentai, part of this is visualization and as such we can allow for a little divergence from strict reality.  Nice remarks, also, @zentai and @helghast on the upshot of activating these muscles and what they correspondingly feel like.  There- I think I've gotten everyone!

One of my great surprises of Aneros practice has been the variety of things, subtle and great, I can engage and feel in the cornucopia of muscles and nerves down there.  Helpful indeed is gathering some anatomical sense for the things I feel, and things I can aim towards feeling.  Not the domain of dry book knowledge, this sense allows for the viewing of shrouded possibilities (I'm wondering how I can activate such a muscle I've never heard of much less currently direct commands to) as well as a kind of validation (so that kind of explains what I'm feeling).  It can be a part of building through awareness, focus and fun practice of good-feeling things.  Periodically it is good for newbies and experienced alike to see the topic refreshed in case they hadn't seen such material before.  Here's another static image of the male pelvic floor.

Hey @mr-nuts,

I'm a vivid advocate for learning to control ones muscles down there separately, since I joined the forum. So thank you for sparking interest in this topic. 🙂

Last year I wrote a detailed post that might add to this conversation.

That video is only part one of two. Both can be found in the wiki btw and a really worthwhile!

Cheers, Unfug

…And yes it did! Thanks. I went to that topic (thread) and read the whole thing. I was surprised to see how other replies explained their version of what I discovered, sort-of, by accident.

I’ve been able to build upon previous experiences to get to what I’m believing is a PO!

Early this morning I worked on building up to a PO but held back because I didn’t want to wake-up my wife. After two or three of this, she woke-up and started scratching her iPad. I rolled over to my left side (my favorite) and held her closely, like she likes me to, and started envoking, gently working to an incredibly pleasing Big-O! Yess! She could feel me trembling and hear my voice as it happened. She gently said “You just orgasumed didn’t you.” I said…“Yes, I did. And it’s been a wonderful morning. Thank you.”

I think the picture "Male Pudendal Nerve" (pelvic-floor-anatomy) posted by @helical is most helpful and sexy! Somehow it was not shown on the page. So, I "copy & paste" it, for I love this picture!  (Gulliver Plus)

Thank you all for posting this information and pictorials - nice to relate and see how it all ties together to provide all the intense movements to provide pleasure to the areas involved! Just recently have experienced the pelvic floor subtle muscle movements both with Aless and Aneros and  the intense pleasure! Specifically have felt the c link to the perenium area and have learned to move this muscle!

I have learned that you can seperate, divide, and isolate specific parts of the same muscle. For instance I can create a tug of war btwn both sphincters and the rectum btwn. them. I can also create a tug of war btwn. my inner sphincter and the base of my dick, while relaxing my outer sphincter and the muscle or whatever that is in the shaft of my dick, and the whatever it is in the head of my dick. It is just recent that realized I could do this, just since I acquired the peredise. I could always start the involuntaries btwn. the to sphincters quite easily. Since I bought the Peredise I can now induce  my dick to throb involuntarily just like an orgasm. I am yet to get all six isolated muscles to fire in the right sequence, either way the feeling is incredible.

Youll get there with practice. The pin point control comes with time, patience and experience.

@fred27 Many thanks! This thread was started by @mr-nuts and the "male pudendal nerve" picture was posted by @helical. So, the credits go to them!

I just like all the visuals and I love to learn from different members' experiences! Thanks ALL!

@helghast These are all involuntaries which fire off in any sequence they want, neatest thing. My hope is that my body is working out how to have4 seperate orgasms at the same time. Anal, prostate, base and shaft and head of my dick. Right now the the anal gives the most pleasure, yet the the rest are getting better and better. I know this must sound crazy but it really does feel like 4 different eroginous zones, does anyone else exp. something like this? Would love to here from you.

I have had some wild aless sessions from reading about aneros use. It's good for people with adhd as it keeps your mind busy reading and switching between the pleasure and text without getting bored with either one

Very interesting topic on the different muscles... when I'm on thc and have the best sessions I can almost feel a point where 2 different types of muscles down there touch each other and that causes the pleasure waves... but you only want them just touching with a small contraction... contact too hard and it's almost as if it's too much electricity and kills the pleasure. Kind of think of it as 2 electric currents touching each other.... bit you can't over do it.

@tbob

Well they are all erogenous zones in their own right. The difference is,in normal sex, they work together and somewhat autonomously, same as the muscles in the in the pelvic floor. On the journey,we start to zero in on them with focus. Then a neuromuscular connection starts to grow, allowing us to seperate them, experience the pleasure they bring independently and  control them with accuracy. The age old advice here is to contract sphincter and roll up into the pc. This is true, but it isn’t the only way. The opposite works. So does sphincter contractions alone with a little tension,or up top with tension leaving the sphincter out of the loop. Think your starting to figure that out mate :).
