Hi All, I have been in the background lurking for about 1 year now, but because I am now more actively reading the discussions, and just seem to have a bit more time on my hands to post, here I go....

Ist... You guys and lady's are just wonderful, and this is a very cool site for all, I read it all the time to help on improving, and new ways of doing things!!

I have been using the Aneros for about 9 months and was one of the very lucky ones to have "O"s almost immediately. Now I am refining the technique and always trying something new. I have just purchased Jack Johnston's seminar and going to try the "key sound" and see how that works as well.

Now....I have been using Krill oil for a very long time, and I still use a bit of fish oil as well, Heck, I use lots of vitamins and minerals as supplements. Vitamin E has been in my diet as a supplement for about 40 years now. I have noticed that it has always given me extra energy and stamina as it seems to supply oxygen to my blood. For sex it has done wonders, with my wife, and without 😀

I know Zaneblue has her book about the extensive use of fish oil in the diet, but, has anybody had a chance to try Krill Oil in its place? As I am alway a very horny guy, I dont know if it is the fish oil, Keill oil, or vitamin E that keeps me going so strong.... I guess I could try stopping the use of them, but I dont really want to unless I have to.... heck I like being horny and using the Aneros.

The whole reason I brought the Krill oil up, is because it is 3 time better that fish oil, and is good for the cardiovascular health as well. I know I have seen some posts here that say they do not like to take such a large fish softgel, well, maybe the krill oil is just as good, and it comes in a very small softgel. It is readily available, and they even have it at Costco. I do know, that you want it pure from the Antarctic called NKO.

So..... if anybody has anything, or it helps with MMO's or Aneros use, give me a shout. It would be very interesting to know..... by the way, I dont know about if it helps the lady's or not, my wife does not take it, and she is rarely home as she does home health care overnight most of the time.

Hi skeeter_g,

Always nice to meet the lurkers out there......especially the ones who were successful right out of the box! How about that? I am sure that you have a lot to share with everyone. I can only assume that your new practice with Jack Johnston's KSMO seminars will only enhance your experience. It did for me.

What is your favorite Aneros model? Just wondering if you have one or several.

Good luck and keep us posted. I am glad you decided to join in.

Hi Buster,
Thanks so much.... I had always liked butt play, so it was a natural for me in the beginning.
My wife would often "Play" around the opening when we were getting each other off. wow oh wow!!!

As we both have gotten a bit older in age, I did not seem to stop wanting the sex, or the new experiences, in fact me age may have been the reason for wanting new experiences even more than when I was younger.

I have always been very comfortable with trying new things, and the Aneros up my butt was no exception. I dont remember how I found this site, maybe it was because I was looking at a "sister site" from Fleshlight. I do have 3 fleshlights in various forms.

I have all Aneros's except the Maximus and new Peridise which sounds very interesting. I do not have a favorite, but do like the full feeling from the Progasm. I have made some modifications to a couple of the models to remove the tails. I am 6' tall, and some definitely touch better than others.

I am very open and uninhibited in any way. that may have led to my very fast "O"s. I think I was having super O's after about 6 or 7 sessions, but I dont reminder for sure.
I did not have any expectations, or set any goals to the process, I just let it happen, and relaxed the whole time. I also can have super O's with no Aneros, but not always. I think it depends on how tired I am on that day.

I believe that so many of the new members just want it now, and it just slows down the process big time, from what I have been reading here.

I just got Jack's email the other day to get me to, and on to the KSMO site, so I have to do that soon. I also need to start my lessons and using the sound.

I really did not mean to lurk so long, but I was getting a lot of information from all the experts.. Thanks to All Very Much....

It doesn't matter whether it's krill oil (also called "marine oil") or fish oil. The important thing is to get the correct amounts of EPA and DHA, that are in both sources. Krill oil may be more difficult on the digestion for some people, but it certainly is cheaper!

Thanks Zaneblue,

I figured you would know a heck of a lot more than I do on this subject.
They say it is 3 time more powerful than fish oil, even though it has less EPA and DHA.
I am wondering if this is just a marketing play.

I do know that I took a couple of extra Krill oil last night after supper, and boy, did I have an extremely wonderful session later in the evening!

😀

That is indeed a marketing ploy. EPA is EPA and DHA is DHA--doesn't matter the source, whether it's fish, krill, free-range meat and eggs and milk, wild game, or even insects.

GNC has a sale on fish oil right now - buy one bottle/jar and get the second at half price.

zaneblue: I wish that there was a vegetarian alternative - I normally do not eat fish, chicken or beef, so taking a fish oil supplement kinda goes against the grain, but I am willing to try it out for a bit. On that note - one problem I have as a vegetarian is the "no soy" rule - it's hard to get a lot of protein without soy - are beans a good source for vegetarians?

Hi ZaneBlue,
I figured it was just a ploy from the marketeers to sell one over the other. The games marketing plays!! I have to deal a lot with marketing folks on my job.

I do understand you point about EPA and DHA quantity, and trust your judgement much more than them. Thanks.

bonerowner, Thanks, I will have to check out GNC, I am getting low on my fish oil anyway.

I have been using a brand from Costco called Nature Made Omega-3 1200mg. Serving size is 2 softgels. EPA is 432 mg, DHA is 288 mg, (per 2).
Suggestion is twice daily, so a total of 4 softgels. They are very large in size, but I don't have a problem with swallowing them.

It does not have anything in them that does not seem to be natural, Gelatin (non-bovine), some Tocopherol (natural), Soy, Glycerin(not sure of the reason for the Glycerin), water, Anchovy, and Sardines. nothing else.

I'm not a big fan of vegetarianism. If you could bend it just a bit to eat seafood, you'd have the optimal sex diet.

Beans are better than no protein at all, but really it's better if you can eat them with cheese to get a complete protein. I'm not sure if your diet allows that.

There is a pure algae source of DHA. Omega-Zen. To get the amounts I recommend is rather expensive using that product.

Thanks for the reply. I have been a vegetarian for over 30 years, and I try to subscribe to the McDougall plan (John McDougall, M.D). I usually eat green leafy vegetables, legumes, brussel sprouts, corn, brown rice, oatmeal, wheat flour, potatoes, broccoli, pumpkin and cereals and grains (as well as soy products) for my protein, and from what I understand all the essential amino acids can be obtained on their own from various everyday plant sources, which do not need to be combined. I was curious about what you had to say about the interaction between fish oil and any of those sources of protein, and how it relates to your diet (considering that you said that soy blocks the interaction of fish oil with the body). I am not comparing your diet to other diets, or asking you to defend your stance against vegetarianism, I am just curious how I can incorporate your success story and what you have learned in to my life and diet, and I appreciate your personal attention. I have your book on order at my local book store, and am interested in reading what it has to say (though I must admit that most of the reviews I read dealt with your program and how it related to women and no mention of men - I assume that most of the info can be basically applied to either men or women).

Have you seen/tried V-Pure? http://www.water4.net/index.htm As you said, EPA is EPA and DHA is DHA, so it seems like it should be fine. It looks expensive, but they have a 3 for 2 offer that makes it a bit cheaper.

What do you think of the dosage?:

Each recommended daily dose (three capsules) of V-Pure contains 270mg of DHA and 89mg of EPA.

I have been taking krill oil capsules for a few months now. It is supposed to be very good for raising HDL levels. That being said, fish oil is supposed to be good for HDL levels also. I'll probably have my blood tested in a few months to see if it's true or not. Some doctors say you have to be on fish oil for a year to see improvement in HDL levels.

I use the Coromega packets for my fish oil. Very tasty BTW! Not the least bit fishy. I like fish but I don't want to be burping fish taste all day LOL!

Since I started taking flaxseed oil and/or fish oil and/or krill oil supplements, I get aroused more easily and more often. But I have not really seen a difference since adding krill oil.

Hi Car_01,
You are correct about the HDL levels, and I have been thinking about going and getting a checkup just to see what the levels are at this time.

It is interesting that I don't seem to have troubles with fishy burps or taste when using the fish oil. that also applies to the Krill oil as well. It is also interesting that I do not like most fish and will not eat it.

bonerowner, it is funny that you mention John McDougall and his diet, John just happens to live in the same town as I do. Many restaurants here have their regular food items and usually something they call the McDougall menu. One of the my wife's favorite restaurants is one John had helped on the menu and it is vegetarian.
I am not a vegetarian myself, but other sources of the EPA and DHA are always interesting to try.
I may take a closer look at the V-Pure.

I'am all for trying to somehow keep healthy with natural resources if possible.

I agree 100%. Those statins scare me and I do not want to have to take them. The side effects are much more common then we are led to believe.

Bonerowner, that V-Pure stuff is ridiculously expensive. Their recommended dosage is about one-tenth of what I would recommend, so unless you have plenty of money to blow on it, probably not feasible. I did bookmark it, because as far as I know that's the only vegan product with EPA in it. However, usually EPA/DHA is 1.5/1 so I'm not entirely comfortable recommending a product so outside the typical balance.

Both my prohibition on soy and recommendation to eat four ounces of protein at every meal don't have to do with the actions of fish oil, they are directly related to a person's total testosterone and free testosterone. People who eat soy tend to have very low total testosterone levels and people who don't get enough protein and eat too many carbs tend to have high SHBG levels, that decrease a person's free testosterone.

Have bloodwork done and see where your T levels are; you can see for yourself whether you diet is healthy or not.

zaneblue - thanks for the information. I do not consume a lot of soy. John McDougall recommends that you use traditional soy foods, like soy milk and tofu, only as a small part of your diet, at most 5% of your daily calories. “Synthetic soy foods,” like meats, cheeses, and soy bars, should rarely, if ever, be consumed.

Too bad about the V-Pure not being potent enough for your program. I may have to bite the bullet and go with fish oil, though I am not looking forward to it (at least the lemon helps a bit).

skeeter_g - interesting info about the mcdougall plan in your area being so accepted. He has been at it for awhile. What really opened my eyes, when reading his books, is the fact that many people believe that animal foods contain protein that is superior in quality to the protein found in plants, which is a misconception dating back to 1914, when Osborn and Mendel studied the protein requirements of laboratory rats. Based on these early rat experiments the amino acid pattern found in animal products was declared to be the standard by which to compare the amino acid pattern of vegetable foods. It has since been shown that the initial premise that animal products supplied the most ideal protein pattern for humans, as it did for rats, was incorrect. Therefore, the idea that vegetable foods were deficient in certain amino acids for our needs was inappropriately based on a standard diet ideal for rats. At that early time no one knew the actual protein or amino acid requirements for humans. There is also way too much emphasis based on protein in the western diet - one average breakfast contains enough protein for over a week. The Recommended Dietary Allowance (R.D.A.) for protein is 0.8 grams a day per kilogram of bodyweight. (Divide your weight in pounds by 2.2 to get kilograms.) Excess protein consumption can cause a variety of problems including bone mineral loss, kidney damage, and dehydration. Your body can only use so much protein, the excess is either broken down through oxidization, placing an enormous strain on the kidneys, or it is stored as body fat. Neither option is particularly desirable. well... enough about mcdougall.. sorry for hijacking the thread, however a healthy diet is important to good sexual health, so it all comes full circle. I am very interested in zaneblue's book, and am looking forward to reading it.

Hello guys,

Fish oil caps also made me burp fishy flavor, so I followed Zane's recommendation and started taking Omega-Rx instead. No more fishy burps. The Omega-Rx are about twice the price of regular brands, but are very high quality double strength, and so we only need to take half as many, and with the discount for auto shipping, the price is not too bad. And my orgasms are ... no words can describe. God bless you Zane for all your wonderful advice.

By the way, Zane, I've been having about 3/4 oz of Dove extra dark chocolate every day for several weeks, but last time I went to the grocery store a label on the shelf said "discontinued" and they were selling all the 3.5 oz bars off for about $1 each, so I bought a dozen and put 'em in the freezer. There were still a few dozen left on the shelf and if they are still there tonight I'll get more. I went to the Dove website and the extra dark isn't to be found anywhere. I can't imagine why they would just stop producing it. It's the 63%; the 75% (or whatever) disappeared a month or so ago.

Happy to hear you are responding so well. That's crazy about Dove. Oh well.

If you are feeling grateful, tell people you know to buy my book! 😀 I'll put a plug in for me here--The Orgasmic Diet, by Marrena Lindberg, available for $11 at amazon, also at your local bookstore.

Hi GrandTiger,

Iam always looking for alternatives to what I take for fish oil, and I like to check them out if I can (websites, data, etc.).
The Omega-Rx you say is double strength, how may capsules do you have to take daily? what is the strength?

There is so many brands and strengths out there these days, it is hard to know which is a top of a line, and all natural without breaking the bank.

zaneblue - Thanks for the info on the V-Pure. very interesting... Another one is checked off my list for a do not buy, but I am sure it still me be good for the true vegetarians that need this type of supplement to add to their regular diet.

Hello Skeeter_g, recommended dose of Omega-Rx is 4/day, but I'm a little guy so I only take 3.

One Omega-Rx cap has 400mg EPA and 200mg DHA

The website is www.zonediet.com

Thanks Zane, I'll pass on the word about your book.

GrandTiger - This look like some real good oil!! I know Zone Labs from somewhere... I must have used their product before... heck if I remember when...
I don't mind spending a bit more money if I know it is a good product.
I think I will go for the 30 day supply and see how my body likes it.
Thanks for the info.
