Hi guys!
(sorry for the long post, but it's important)
For the last five years I've made sporadic attempts to reach some sort of pleasure by stimulating my prostate, without luck (until recently). Two years ago I bought a Progasm Ice and I've tried it a few times (maybe around 10) since I bought it, and a couple of months ago I started to have (or had) a Super-O... I contracted my PC muscles for almost 1,5 to 2 hours. I was completely flaccid, but there was this INTENSE electric feeling of pleasure pulsating through my body and I started to cramp and loose control of my body. It freaked me out at first because I lost control, but now I cannot think of anything else, I want to get back there! It was AMAZING! However...
The next day or few days after that, I started to feel like this subtle sporadic ache that would quickly come and go, around the bottom area of my stomach (it's very difficult to say exactly where I feel this sporadic ache, but if I say "lower stomach, bladder, prostate or pelvic region", it might at least give you an idea. This occurs a day or a few days after a session ... every time I use the aneros or any prostate massager for that matter, and it freaks me out... It only hurts like a second or a few seconds at a time, a few times per day. I've gently examined the prostate the day after and it doesn't hurt or feel any different when you touch it or stimulate it with your fingers either.
I'm a healthy young man in my mid twenties, no physical condition, no diseases or std's etc. I do however have som hypochondriac tendencies (which I am aware of). I ALWAYS use any toy "up there" with extreme pro-caution. I've read the Aneros Wiki How To's at least of couple times and I follow every step to the smallest detail. It does NEVER hurt while I use the aneros, I've never felt any pain while doing a session, never. I've never had any problems cumming... it looks white and healthy ( too much info?) or taking a piss.
I always lie still on my back when using the aneros, even though I insert it lying down on my side (as the manual states you should). Basically, I'm treating my prostate as if it was as sensitive as fragile little egg that would crack the second you did something wrong or applied too much pressure. What could this possibly be? Could be muscle soreness in my pelvic muscles? After all... It's almost a 1-2 hour long gym session for those muscles working the aneros. I hear some guys have the aneros in while they have sex... others even while sleeping... I am way too scared of trying anything like that.. what if you hurt the prostate when you move the body?
Anyway, any help, input or calming words would be greatly appreciated! I don't want to give up on this journey 🙂
Thank you guys,
cheers!
@JoeCrix84, you stated you've only done about 10 Anerosessions in two years (24 months) that's about one session every 2.4 months so your doing a 1-2 hour Kegeling exercise only once every 2.4 months. If you went to the gym and exercised only one small group of muscles for that length of time every 2.4 months I would think you would also feel some muscle soreness the next day or two. It sounds like you need to develop a more regular (daily practice) kegel exercise regime to tone up and strengthen those pelvic floor muscles. If you do those consistently for the next two months I'm willing to bet the soreness you now experience post Anerosession will be eliminated or at least minimized. Of course more regular Anerosessions (2 per week?) will also help tone up those muscles. It is nearly impossible for you to do yourself any harm if you have follow the manufacturers recommended usage instructions, so chalk that ache up to out of shape muscles. Good Vibes to You !
Roughly 10 sessions yes, that's correct! Well, the reason why I haven't done more than that is just because of the aching or strain that I would feel the next day or days, and it has always made me scared of trying it again. But after 2 - 3 month my fascination for this overtakes the fear, an the cycle repeats.
Thanks for the advice, I'll do that! I've also recently started doing kegal exercises to also help with my premature ej. Maybe the aneros can be helpful in that aspect as well in case I have weak pelvic floor muscles? After I posted this thread last night I continued searching this topic, and I found this site: http://www.prostate-massage-and-health.com/herxheimer-reaction.html#.WIQwjLGZNE5
The so called "herxheimer reaction" seems to apply mostly to men with prostate problems, but maybe that's also a potential cause? Anyone else ever heard of this?
/Cheers
Perhaps what you interpret as pelvic pain is 'referred' there from another location. For example, I produce some pain in an area I think of as my descending colon or Spleen when I touch the tip of an Aneros left rim of my Anus. It's some sort of wiring issue since trimming one of the toenails on my left foot produces the same abdominal pain. You might ask your doc about this.
Remember too that your small intestine is sort of 'piled up' the way it rests in your pelvis. Long hours of large-toy play in your rectum may be bumping into your small intestine.
Please try Rumels suggestion. More sessionsl but better targeted and perhaps with a smaller toy.
That's very plausible too. Since my early teens, I've had problems with my gut. It's become much better since I went plant based, but it still troubles me from time to time, so very likely that I'm feeling "pain" down there that originates from the small intestine or some other area in my intestinal region, which I then confuse with pain in my prostate. I'm not a doc or medical expert, but it sounds plausible...
I have the Progasm Ice, do you think the new Helix Syn would be a better option? I've read a lot of good about it and it seems to be somewhat smaller and softer due to the silicone. Good buy?
Btw, while we're at it... Are there any BIG NONO's you shouldn't do while you have the Aneros in? Like "you shouldn't sit straight up if you're lying on your back" etc. I just read a review of the Helix Syn, and one of the guys said "I like to have it in while I go for a jog. After a while I have to stop myself cause I'm about to cum"... that sounds super hot, but isn't that dangerous? Just curious 🙂
@JoeCrix84 One big nono is running out of lube! Just make sure that you don't get dry during a long session! Also, make sure your lube is compatible with the toy! Obviously, you know your own body so anything that doesn't feel "right" should not be ignored. Other than that, try not to be too analytical and concentrate on the extreme pleasures you are experiencing!

Awesome, thanks! You're right, I should loosen up a bit about it 🙂
