How to know if even touching prostate? No expectation tho

Hi,

I have had about 6 sessions with my new MGX and have felt no pleasure throughout most of it, except a deep contraction once or twice that was "ok". I just don't feel as if the prostate is being touched at all. I used a gloved finger once (before the MGX arrived) and felt what I believed was a walnutty bulge, but I could have just mistaken that with a curvy part of the anal lining (like in the Aneros diagrams).

I'm not talking about how to get the pwave/superO or T here, I am strickly talking: How do I know if I am making contact with the prostate? Could it be said that, when I have made contact, I will feel SOME pleasure? Or would it feel like touching your elbow until "rewiring"?

Remember, no pwave/super O here. I just want to know if I should feel prostate "contact"?

Once the MGX is in, it is like I hardly notice it. It's as if it could get lost in there. I don't feel that it is "touching the sides" whilst inserted, like it it hovering in mid air, held in by the anus.

I ordered the Helix on Sunday and expect it tomorrow or Thursday hopefully. This has a thicker stem and slightly more length. I hope that extra inch is enough to make contact.

I am 6 foot 4 ish. If a below 5"7 man should use the SGX, and an above 5"7, the MGX,then surely someone 6"4 or over should be looking at a different toy from not just the first SGX guy but also the second MGX user? Has anyone here had NO pleasure with one model, then found it with ANOTHER? Which?

And to be honest, I still don't get how guys who have passive anal play do not have to rewire, but "we" do. What is that about? I just read a gay gays Yahoo! Answers post about there being "nothing like your first prostate massage". With us, it's "nothing like your 50th...". Huh?

Thanks for reading.

Hi MyTurn,
I just got my MGX yesterday and used it for the first time for 3 1/2 hours. Nothing.

For the week or so that I was waiting for my MGX I was using an old toothbrush. I could feel it hitting my prostate, and had several enjoyable moments with it. Never close to any sort of O but a good soreness that left me feeling great the rest of the day.

The MGX just felt like I had a piece of plastic stuck up my ass. I'm pretty disappointed.

I'm not looking for any sort of sexual stimulation using the Aneros. I just want a good prostate massage for health purposes.

I'm interested to hear if you like the Helix but FYI I'm 6'5 and the MGX works for me. While everyone is different I assure you that size-wise I don't believe that could be the issue. You may well prefer the Helix though but I don't think it's because the MGX can't work for you.

But I don't think the result of that is the same as what we're aiming for. Plus they have external stimuli involved (another dude) that we don't have alone with a piece of plastic. Plus they're two different things -- the massage might feel better on day one than the aneros on day one BUT the aneros feels 1000 times better on day sixty (for example) that the massage. "Nothing like your first" means it's not getting better from there.

I'm 6 foot 7 and the Helix contacts my prostate fine as far as I can tell.
My first few sessions I wasn't really sure if it was or not, but now, with more experience I think I've become aware of the feeling of it touching.

One way that I found to increase my awareness of what's happening inside my rectum is this:
With the aneros inserted, I relax and lie very still.
I concentrate my attention on the anus and rectum and try to notice any sensations there at all.
Sometimes at this point, I can feel my pulse throbbing against the aneros.
If not, I hold my finger to my wrist so that I can feel my pulse there, and then with that pulse as a cue, I concentrate again in my rectum and usually I become aware of my pulse throbbing there against the aneros.
I keep concentrating on that pulse and it becomes more noticeable.
Once I'm well aware of the pulse down there, if I do some slow and gentle contractions I find that I can feel the aneros moving against the prostate.

MyTurn,
I had the same experience with the MGX. It just did not do it for me. I tried different models until I found one that works for me. I found that I had to go to the longest model I could find with the most aggressive curve. I then had to bend the handle back to allow that model to go even deeper. I could tell I needed to do this because when I manually pushed it deeper I could feel it hit my prostate. But when I got the model that fit me, I knew it instantly. When it hits your prostate you first have the feeling that you want to pee. This feeling turns into pleasure very quickly. You will know it when it happens. My advise - try different models.

JIH: What model did you end up with then?

FORUM: Let's try asking the question differently: How do you know that the Aneros is touching the prostate versus when it IS NOT? What are the differences (not talking about pleasure, Pwaves, Os, etc)???

MyTurn,

How do you know that the Aneros is NOT touching your prostate? Forget about your Aneros for a bit here and try to get in touch with your body’s inner sensations. I think you might try ‘Buttmasterflex’s suggestion of using a drumstick to do a little exploration of your rectum to find your prostate and pleasure hot spots. My suggestions would be : 1) Prepare yourself as you would for an Aneros session by making sure you’ve had a recent bowel movement and your rectum is empty. 2) Get the drumstick, put a condom over the handle end and fully roll out the condom. 3) Pre-lube you rectum, anus and the condom sheathed drumstick. 4) Get yourself comfortably positioned lying on your side, top leg bent and drawn up. 5) Slowly and GENTLY insert the drumstick as deep as is comfortable, let go of it and let yourself relax with no motion for 5 minutes (count slowly to 300). 6) After relaxing, slowly withdraw the drumstick along the anterior wall of your rectum while applying a slight GENTLE pressure to the end (using your anus as a fulcrum point). 7) Stop before full withdrawal of the drumstick and slowly and GENTLY re-insert straight in (avoiding pressure on the rectal walls). 8.) Repeat the slow withdrawal process only applying the drumstick end along another, slightly different, line of the anterior rectal wall. 9) Repeat this procedure until all portions of your anterior rectal wall have been touched.
This exercise should identify precisely where your prostate is located. If you still do not detect any sensitivity after performing this exercise, I would advise you to consult with your physician and discuss your lack of sensation, as there is likely to be some other cause to be dealt with.

Thanks for that.

With the Aneros, I can sneak out of rooms with it in, with underwear on, I can pretend I'm sleeping while I do contractions, etc, but with drumstick, I kind of need an empty house, etc. It's not something I can hide quickly if need be.

I guess the next time I can do that is Monday night. But I will try the Aneros in the meantime. Thanks very much Rumel.

@rumel I have been having trouble with contact too, I just tried with a drum stick and it seems that I found my prostate, there was a very slight since of having to pee, and I noticed my penis started to grow, again only slightly. Nothing like this happen with the aneros. I also tried with my fingers and had a longer orgasm, with more semen that was more yellow coloured. Nothing like this happens with the aneros. What should I do? I have a helix, should I just continue to use it? What should me sessions be like? I'm confused 🙁

Congratulations on having found your prostate and knowing that it does respond to tactile stimulation.

I also tried with my fingers and had a longer orgasm, with more semen that was more yellow coloured. Nothing like this happens with the aneros

Simultaneous prostate stimulation and ejaculation often does produce increased volume of semen. The color and consistency of a man's semen can be affected by a number of factors (age, diet, general health, genetics, etc.) so I wouldn't worry too much about a slight color change unless you see a pink tinge which would indicate some blood content. If that bleeding is detected in subsequent ejaculations, you should see a urologist to have yourself evaluated and treated to resolve it.

What should I do? I have a helix, should I just continue to use it?

Patience, young squire, your Helix is a good model to be learning with. You've embarked upon a learning adventure, learning about your body and the sensate language it uses to communicate with your brain. This language has been developing since your conception but it is only now that your consciousness is having to learn and interpret all the nuanced meanings of those sensations. This process can take time so you should just stay relaxed, be patient as you focus upon those subtle inner body sensations to emerge as they will. You can not rush this process, the best you can do is to eliminate the obstacles you encounter along the path. Be patient, only use your Aneros when you are highly aroused, have plenty of time available for your sessions.

What should me sessions be like? I'm confused

I can't tell you what your sessions should be like! Every man reacts differently and the range of feelings/sensations you perceive will be unique for you. Like fingerprints, your pattern is special, but unlike fingerprints there will be infinite subtle variations possible from session to session. Hence the frequent admonition to have no expectations as your physical and mental states at the time of a session are always going to be slightly different than at a previous time.

Confusing? Yes, there are a number of paradoxes involved with Aneros use which necessitate a suspension of rational logic in favor of integration of meta-physical thinking. This is a frightening prospect for most men's ego, but once accomplished the rewiring process can proceed much easier.

I've had similar experiences with my mgx. I've now had it for years and it's never really "hit" my prostate without a little extra help. I did find my prostate for the first time with the handle end of a toothbrush, and it felt really good! I also recently ordered the much more aggressive Nexus Revo, which really hit sthe spot and helps me along. A couple tips for the current Aneros device you can't "feel" yet.

-take a folded cloth and wedge it between the perenium tab and your perenium to form a more aggressive angle towards your prostate and then try rolling up a towel (when you are already relaxed and well into your session) and sit on it, and start rocking back and forth forward and backward . I have found this to work with the mgx to get things going.

-try stimulating your penis at the same time a bit to get the prostate more swollen. I find if I have an erection I can feel it more aggressively.

-try manually pressing it towards your penis or belly button while its in you with the anus as the fulcrum... if that makes sense. sort of rotating it manually towards your prostate to create more pressure.

-try looking at diagrams of where your prostate is located so you can visualize it during your session and make it easier to find when manually pressing it.

thats all I got, don't worry though I wondered if I had a broken prostate too when I couldn't feel anything for over a year!

I can tell when I'm on my prostrate by the change in feeling. For me it's like that too-intense feeling you
get on the tip of you dick right after orgasm, it feels good but too good in some cases. The prostate feels the same way when I'm hitting it just right. My Progasm is in constant contact with my p-spot when I do a good contration, with my Helix I have to arch my back to get it in the right spot. In a session yesterday I learned I can do a "woodpecker" type motion using the Helix by rolling from sphincter to PC contractions. It feels like the head is moving back and forth and tapping on the prostate. The Progasm to too big to make that feeling happen. Unfortunately I've played with my new toys way too much the last few days and I'm a little sore so I'm going to have to take a break for a few days.
