I've read a few threads that seem to all be asking the same question and I must admit that I am curious too.
Some people note that there is violently shaking, moaning, precum. Yet B Mayfield also noted that there isn't really a release of tension like say the conventional penile ejaculation. On the other hand, many people seem to be wondering about "crossing the river", and I feel like I'm stuck at that point to. I keep working up and it's very exciting but I don't know if I'm already engaged in a super orgasm or still "climbing the slope" so to speak. Is there a peak to the orgasm? How do you experience the "let down"? I'm sure many people would learn alot from your experiences
Albeezie,
What I've tried to express in the past is that there is a different kind of release (with the Super O) as compared to a conventional orgasm (ejaculation). With a Super Orgasm, there is unquestionable a peak, but there is NOT a total loss of arousal as with the traditional orgasm. One is in essence falling back down to the preorgasmic state known as plateau. Consequently, for some, the sense of release may not seem quite as large, but the trade off, if one could call it that is that (because there is not a loss of arousal) one is capable of experiencing multiple orgasms.
Following the intense orgasmic surge which may play out on a more global basis (the whole body experience), one returns to a state where you feel excited, i.e...you want to go again. The sense of deep relaxation that one has immediately following an ejaculation may not be present, but then, neither is the lethargy. Over time it is possible to repeat these orgasms and even shortened the periods in between their onset such that an almost continuous event may be experienced.

Thanks B for your prompt reply,
To be sure I understand what you're saying, it seems that you mean that while it may not seem to have the ultimate sense of release per se as the penile ejaculation, you are able to have multiple Super-os and that you are interested in continuing the process.
What I'm s till a little confused about is, how do I know when I've reached the peak? Obviously I probably still have to be patient and not expect the same kind of sensation as the penile ejaculation, but is it something I'll just know when I'm there? I often feel like I keep trying to build but there's no end to what I'm building to or I just feel very tense and have to start over. Obviously this is an issue triggered by most importantly not being relaxed.
I think the major reason why I and so many othrs are confused is because the description of the super-o is pretty diverse. Someone mentioned that it lasted 30 seconds, other say something like 10 min (which would be spectacular if true).
And lastly, and this is a very juvenile and kind of silly question, I find that as I am approaching the higher state, my breath becomes incredibly short, I think it's really just because I'm too tense, is this an indicator that I am doing it wrong? how do you level your breathing? Because irght now it feels almost like an obstruction to climax since I'm to the point of choking.
was just thinking about this. i've had a variety of orgasms with the helix in and out. In fact took a 2 month hiatus until yesterday. It's interesting to compare the good feelings without the aneros inserted and realize how much they are amplified when the aneros is in.
but- I've had orgasms with very little force behind them and others that were more of a shove, many lasting a lot time. Still looking forward to the whole body experience. But I'm not supposed to think about that!

I too found this confusing for a long time and it never did hit me as a "ahaa" moment as I thought it might throughout my journey. I kept feeling like I was on the edge and just needed one final push to open the floodgates. After several years I now realize that that is not going to happen for me that way and while awaiting for my orgasm to finally arrive, I realized that I was experiencing plateau orgasms for some time. The one thing I can say for sure is that it is always changing and new sensations come and go, mostly for the better. My strongest dry O's come with the assistance of my wife and sometimes as a result of penile stimulation from her. I do feel the orgasm building and peaking accompanied by often strong pulsing from the prostrate, sometimes lasting 30 seconds and sometimes lasting several minutes. The strongest ones are the shortest lived and and very comparable to a traditional wet orgasm brought on by either masturbation or intercourse wtih the wife, but like B Mayfield says - there is no refractory period and it generally leaves me wanting more.
For me, I think where I had the most misunderstanding was thinking it would be just like a tradional orgasm, only extended. While they share many of the same qualities, they are quite different. I find my breathing at the time of dry-O to be pretty much like that during a traditional orgasm - short and pretty intense.
Hope that doesn't confuse things more for you

It depends on what frequency you can raise your energy level. Once I was so high that I could see golden light surrounded my body. I could literally shoot starts off my hand. Sometimes my eyes sights become so good that I see everything in techno color, like in a good drug trip.
It can last a long time. You feel you're in a different reality. Sometimes when I thought I was back to normal, eating a delicious peach could trigger another whole body orgasm.
