I've never had a super O. I have either the MGX or SGX. Not sure which. I'd like to get a new one, but I have no idea what to order.

Anyhow, I'd like to discuss some of my ideas why this is so difficult for some to achieve, including myself. I'm resuming my practice after a long time. I was one of the original members on here when the forum first came up and when B. Mayfield use to post. Don't know if he still does.

Ok, let me know if you agree with me.
With me, it's all about energy levels. I smoke, I eat a lot of sugar and my energy suffers. I do run daily and do 200 pushups and 200 situps, plenty of stretching, etc. I do 2 blenders per day full of spinach, 2 raw eggs, almonds, walnuts, red grapes and water. I eat 2 apples per day. I do a big salad or wrap with chicken or some other meat for protein. I eat oat meal in the afternoon, then another shake, then protein for dinner, then a potato 2 hours before bed. Helps with serotonin production and sleep and sugar cravings the next day (google potatos not prozac)

So what I'm saying is that my diet is pretty good, I exercise. BUT!!! I smoke and with smoking I always have to have some sugary drink. I usually have home made ice tea or organic chocolate milk. I do not consume anything with high fructose corn syrup or refined sugar. However it is sugar and it ROBS YOUR ENERGY.

To be aroused, you must have energy. You must also be aroused in order for this to work. I'm not talking about an erection either. I'm talking about that horrnyness, like walking around on a street, first day of spring and seeing all the ladies out. That type of hornyness. If your consuming sugar, caffeine (which I stay clear of) and opiate medications (vicodin, percoset, etc...) if your taking SSRI's (prozac, wellbutrin, zoloft, etc...) all of this is going to supress your libido. Guaranteed. Take it from an opiate addict that has been on every medication known to man, as well as all of those garbage SSRI's

I also have masturbated daily for years. I'm 40 now. I'm getting to the point where I have to use f*****g Viagra to get hard. Pretty sad ha? I should be in the prime of my life. So here's what I did last week.

I usually do 1-4" of raw ginger per day anyhow. As well I do raw organic maca powder (not the crap do nothing stuff in capsules from vitamin shoppe or any other reseller), the real stuff. Also tongkat ali extract (same thing, from a reputable source). Lots of folks waste money on DEAD suppliments. Meaning they've been stored forever. Bought, sold, bought, sold. Impotent strain, sub par ingredients etc...

So. I'm off all SSRI's thanks to eating protein at every meal, staying off opiates, exercising every single day of my life and taking some amino acids such as tyrosine, glutamine, etc...

Just so you know, the alternative stuff to SSRI's such as 5-htp and St. Johns wort will reduce or libido. Orgasm? Forget about that. So I'm off of all of that stuff, except the amino acids, multi-vitamin, quality fish oil 2-4G per day. I'm exercising daily as I mentioned and my testosterone is back. BUT.....

Here's the kicker. I finally made a conscious decision to stop beating off. FOR GOOD. Just like diet. It's not a diet, it's a lifestyle and way of being. Masturbation is old. It got old years ago but I never woke up. I never realized the depleted, woe is me, too tired for sex, and feeling like shit all day is mostly due to constantly being drained of sperm and my body having to replace it. I don't think folks notice how much drainage occurs on the body when your constantly replenishing sperm. It's mind boggling. Here's why.

I went 10 days without orgasm. I did kegels from sun up till sun down. In the car, at work, etc. I got quite a few quivers going in my back side, no erection though. It felt great. I used my MGX or SGX, whatever one I had last Saturday. Nothing happened. I took a nap with it in and felt like I had a mini orgasm but I was in deep sleep and don't know if it was really a dream or not. HOWEVER!!!! Besides the aneros, the main thing was this. When I finally had sex with my wife. Well I had sex day 5, 6,7,8,9,10 it was absolutely mind bending. No viagra, stiff as a board and no problem withholding ejaculation, although I was never a premature guy. I gave her about 200 orgasms throughout those days and I withheld till Saturday night. I finally exploded and it felt like my dick was going to split in half. I came and came. But, back to square 1 again. But I think over time, abstaining from daily jerking off will help immensely.

So I think that underestimating energy levels, coupled with the (leave the penis / ejaculation out of the equation) as well as lots of kegels is the key to success here. My main point is that I feel that folks seem to underestimate as well that abstaining from orgasm in the beginning will help with the process.

Anybody else have anything to add? I wanted in this thread to emphasize the other part of the equation. Every other thread on here is about "forget ejaculation" "forget about your penis" etc.... but none really touch about the matters I'm speaking of here.

That was some great advice. I have problems with PE and I find that when my diet is clean (only fruits, nuts, seeds, vegetables, grains, legumes, roots and tubers, basically just avoiding sugars, salts, bad fats, and processed foods) my problem gets noticeably less. The problem is my diet has never been this clean for longer than 2 weeks.

Have you ever done a juice fast?

There is a definite connection between your diet, body energy, and sexuality that is greatly overlooked.

I'm taking gelatinized maca at night, you said you take raw maca. What're your thoughts?

RAW Maca powder is the single best thing I've ever done for myself. I have anxiety problems, bad. I use to have to take Clonazepam here and there. I have the lowest dosage, which is .5mg, which is nothing. However drugs affect me profoundly. I have a low tolerance. I use to split them in 1/2 as I can't stand the tiredness. Now that I take 1tsp maca in the am and pm (late afternoon) I no longer have that edginess to me and haven't taken any Clonazepam in a couple months. Juice fasts I have done. They suck. I don't operate well without food. I need protein daily or I get bad mood swings.

I've found a good source for the MACA powder. Though you can get it on eBay as well from sources with good feedback. The thing is this. I'm taking it in raw powder form. Most guys use the capsules, which is like 500mg? I'm taking like 10x that amount. I hear folks often say "oh this or that supplement did nothing for me." Well the fact is that most of the supplements out there are beyond their expiration date, or have crap ingredients.

I always do thorough research on supplements. No way I'm paying $30 for a bottle of maca pills from some greedy company. I get 3 lbs of good raw powder for that price. I find that psyllium husk and bentonite clay shakes work great for bowel cleansing. Sometimes I'm lazy though and just do a salt water flush. Talk about feeling like superman after doing one of those.

I've been using organic gelitanized maca powder in bulk from macaperu.com, about 1 1/2 tsp at night. I heard that if the maca isn't gelitanized your body only gets a fraction of it.

Would you mind sharing your source of maca? I'm a few weeks away from running out and about to reorder.

I sent you a PM Buttmasterflex. This place goes out of stock often, but they'll email you when they go back in stock. I have heard of gelitanized maca. I would like to know of the physiological mechanism if present that prevents regular maca from being absorbed. I have heard it's better, but have not heard that the non-gelitanized stuff doesn't work as good. For me it doesn't make me hornier really. I've been taking it too long, but it does give you gut wrenching orgasms, like split your cock in 1/2. But for me the anti-anxiety qualities of it that allow me to stay off psychoactive meds outweighs any sexual benefits. The other stuff I take, the tongkat ali longjack extract I take seems to > libido somewhat and gives you heavy cock all day long. But I don't know if I'm taking enough. Bottle says 100mg a day and 2x a day if lifting weights. I've heard others say that they take a higher dosage.

Great topic.
I dont have any insight as to supps, with the exception of a few......
In anycase, I will say that since I enjoy my private time and love rubbing a few out in quiet, with the wife being home and 2 kids, I have been cherishing time alone. It rarely happens, so getting in anykind of stroking time is practically out.
What have I noticed since going from 1-3 times a day to once every 2 weeks? My weight training has vastly improved, up 40% in how much I'm lifting.
When I do get one out, I'm tired and drained. Our test. Levels are directly connected to our sperm levels.

Hello Unconventional, 🙂

A good post. And I'm glad to hear you've finally made some progress in your Aneros journey.

The health and diet connection has been talked about here a number of times. Do a search for posts by user “zaneblue”. She's the gal that wrote the orgasmic diet book and has posted a fair amount here about her diet beliefs. I personally think it varies with people. Meaning it's just something you have to experiment with and find what works for you.

As I was reading your post, the first thing I was going to mention was ejaculation abstinence. But it sounds like you've got that figured out. This was the single most best thing I did for my Aneros journey having come from a daily habit of masturbating. This is what pushed my progress forward big time. Now I only ejaculate every two to three weeks, and it is fine with me. I've learned to enjoy the pleasure I get from my no-Aneros and Aneros sessions, even though I have yet to achieve super-O's. Keep at it, you'll get there eventually! 😀
