Hey Guy's
I've been a long time lurker (about 4-5 months) and finally decided to join the forum. As of right now I don't own an aneros but I will soon be placing an order for the helix, as I understand that model is the best recommended for beginner's/starter's of this wonderful journey/experience.
But basically this post was just for me to say Hi to all of you out there.
Have a good day 🙂
Silk
@Silk --- Welcome! I hope that during your lurking you've read enough posts to know that this is a very real experience? Also, many of us are truly interested in helping you to achieve these awesome orgasms! So, feel free to share a much, or as little, as you're comfortable sharing. We're not a judgemental group at all! Wishing you all the best on your journey!

Hi @Silk yes mate, the Helix is a real good choice. I started with one years ago.It is also great later on when you become a advanced user too. It will be your friend for life when you both learn to get along.
Remember to use heaps of lube as you are learning. The golden rule is you can never have too much lube! 😉
Use a applicator or syringe to pre inject lube before your session as well as coating the aneros device.
Welcome to a new chapter in life.
I know that what i'm entering in to (lol) is going to be life changing.
During my lurking I did keep up to date with discussions and read the aneros wiki like the bible.
Can't wait for my helix to arrive and have my very first session. 😀

Yoda response- excitement leads to expectations...expectations leads to no Super O... No Super O leads to disappointment.
Curious, have you read the posts on the potential negatives of aneros use? The supposed kundalini awakening that might happen? The insanely addictive nature that can present itself? Don't get me wrong. I am all for it. I did personally however have to find a way to punch through the negatives. I am at an amazing place now where I feel a blissful energy flowing from head to tail... all the time! There was a time though where I stopped sleeping and was filled with anxiety from the energy this thing can induce.
It is hard to truly understand the concept of energy until you experience it. I am very interested in reading about your journey.
I know not to get myself too excited & I know I shouldn't expect anything to happen for the first few sessions.
Negatives of aneros use? Got to be honest, I've never heard of any.
Silk
Well, I did list a few negatives in my last post. There came a time where I stopped sleeping because I wouldn't stop have orgasms. Three days in a row. I laid down to go to sleep... I start O'ing. We are talking full blown super O's. All night long. It was effecting my ability to work and I had to go to the doc. I will never forget the look on his face..hah! I broke the cycle with Valium and had to limit my aneros use. I try really hard now to do only on the weekends only and never ever at night. I had what some people might consider a kundalini awakening. At first it really sucks. Anxiety, sustained hot flashes that keeps you up at night and at one point my head stayed pressured up and pulsating.
Those are but a few negatives. I will repeat though that I punched through it to find a extremely blissful and positive energy balance. I had to embrace the concept of chakras and energy flow so it wouldn't stay trapped in my head. I am a scientist dammit! There is no such thing as chakras or a kundalini awakening... I was wrong 🙂
Anyway, the addictive side unbelievably strong. Your lower chakra can pressure up with pleasure and demand that it be released.. DEMAND IT! It seems to know now when I am going to be home alone. Every time I drive home from work on a Friday, it glows with pressure and pleasure.
I stop now. Questions?
@Silk and @JMchemist, most people don't have a kundalini awakening. I didn't. Aneros opened my lower chakra and then my heart chakra opened. It was confusing but painless. I didn't know much about them before but now have personal experience with them. That being said, I heard that kundalini is no fun if unprepared. Most guys here don't have any thought of chakras and kundalini and really don't need any. Dry orgasms are awesome in themselves and worth the time attaining them.
I did say 'might' lead to a kundalini awakening in my first post to this discussion. I also made sure to reference my personal experience in the second post and not to aneros users in general.
Lets not focus on the kundalini. There are negatives though. When I read people's posts on here about here spending enormous amounts of time anerosing, it screams addiction and unhealthy. Sleeping with it in, cooking with it in, hell, mowing the damn yard with it- that doesn't sound healthy but obsessive. I've read plenty of posts of people losing sleep. There are other negatives that I'm not going to list.
I feel compelled to repeat- I found balance, bliss and a new reality from it. However, I did face the worst possible negatives from it and had to get through it.
I know, I do think some member's on here do take anerosing to an almost addiction like level. But if that's what they want to do then that's what they want to do. Nothing you or I can stop them from doing.
I'm going to limit myself to 3 sessions per week to begin with and see where that takes me.
Silk
Hi Silk... welcome to the aneros clan. So you came out of the shadows and purchased your very own Helix hu? That's what I bought first too. A very wonderful and amazing experience. The folks here, as I'm sure you have learned from your lurking days, are a varied bunch, but, all basically well meaning and certainly supportive of your journey. Can't wait to hear about your initial time with your Helix!
Welcome. No question is off limits around here, so ask away.
Yeah pretty much, I have ordered it, i'm just simply waiting for it to arrive 😀
Yeah as lurker they all seem like real/genuine down to earth guy's.
I will all let you know how the first session goes, but I can pretty much already sum up how it's going to be from previous experiencing (lurking)
Quick question - Any young guy's on this forum? I'm 22 & from the UK
Not suggesting we attempt others to modify their behavior. Just using that as an example of negative.
I will never forget my first round of involuntaries. In that instant it became real. I knew everything I was reading was true. I had no idea how it would change my life and how mind blowing fast it was going to happen but the amazement was like being in puberty again.
True bliss and well being can be attained through that little piece of plastic. I hope you find it.
Just thought I say something positive 🙂
I too can't wait for that first round of in voluntaries 😀
I'm just hoping it doesn't take years & years to reach my first super-o, like i've heard other members say that's how long it took them. But then again everybody is different.
Thanks for the encouragement/message
Silk
Took me three weeks :).
My super Os have evolved into many many times more engulfing, out-of-body and just plain stronger than that first time. With my kundalini awakening I've learned to reach a state of bliss, exist in it and then explode over and over from my heart and sometimes my head. Now, I can reincorporate my penis and still have the super O's. My girlfriend goes bonkers when I super O while I'm in her mouth.
Good times await if you can let go of control and all expectations. I don't even need caffeine to get me moving in the morning any more. I can aneroless energy at will. It is really quite amazing. I feel like I'm taking MDMA and sometimes I'm just plain blissfully high when I stop and just feel. I'm talking outside of the aneros session. It is about energy and opening all your chakras. Imaging your heart having a bliss-gasm. That can happen, my friend. Alas, most men do not achieve that level.
Quick question - Any young guy's on this forum? I'm 22 & from the UK
Silk, there are many who are younger than me 😉 I'm 57 and there are a lot of us older guys... that said, I think I saw in a poll that there are just as many if not more, 20 somethings on board.
Brian
@Silk dont be put off by talk of negatives. I am a simple fellow and dont understand the"Kundalini" stuff. Its like quoting gods Commandments to someone who does not understand it.
Please take no offence @JMchemist
Negatives are just a point of view as they can be someones positives.
Obi wan from starwars points this out. Just to keep with the current posts 🙂
Yes @JMchemist is right you might loose sleep and you may get addicted but this does not mean it is a negative, that is just a point of view.
I am that person. each session calls to me and even tells me which model it wants.
I crave it but one always has control. You know what you are doing.
There is a point that you "may" get to that you think "oh crap this thing has me and i can never escape" but it passes and things ease up. You will come to enjoy every moment you spend anerosing.
MUSIC I have gone to sleep and lost sleep a concerts and listen to it while doing house chores. Does that mean it is addictive and negative???? Addictive maybe but not negative.
Your young and excited about your purchase, enjoy it just dont get put off if you feel nothing for even a long time. It will come if you practice. Give it six months and then see where you are.
I am 41 and i wish i had been able to start in my 20s.
I know (from lurking) not to expect to much for the first few session to the first few week's or maybe even months. I understand.
My helix get's delivered on monday 😀 as well as some lube 😛
