Helix Doesn't Fit

I'm 5'5" and was debating between getting the smaller SGX or the MGX or Helix. I went with the Helix due to the feedback I heard about the SGX being too small to do much. So I got the Helix today and it doesn't seem to want to go in past the last bump. I'm thinking that I maybe just haven't gotten used to the sensation yet, but it hurts when I try and push it in the rest of the way.

Any pointers?

- Are you using enough lubrication? If so, what kind? It's important to lube up your Helix and your anus! Otherwise it will hurt indeed.
- Are you relaxed enough?
- How 'empty' are you? As in, have you had a bowel movement before you went at it, or have you used a rectal shower?

Yes, I lubed, though I'm thinking I might need to get a dropper to get up in there. I'm using Astroglide, it's what I already had on hand.

This is a new experience for me, so relaxation is definitely something that will come more with time. I'm thinking I might need a nice frosty brew beforehand, haha.

I did just have a bowel movement, though, it wasn't anything to write home about. I don't have an enema, but I suppose I could buy one. I'm just curious if it's possible that it's already in direct contact with the prostate at that point and it has nowhere to go. I am quite short.

Hi Dyers,

Welcome to the Aneros Forums, your best source of information for learning about the multiple benefits and joys of using the Aneros prostate massagers.

This image accurately depicts the proper insertion location of your Aneros massager. The tip of the Aneros (while inside the rectum) pushes against the prostate gland. The walls of the rectum are very flexible and elastic, they will easily stretch to accommodate the shape of the Aneros. When the anal sphincter muscles are contracted, the Aneros with its P-tab arm is pushed up into the prostate and thus massages it. The P-tab also acts as an anchor/fulcrum/pivot point. When the contraction takes place the Aneros will rotate slightly about the center point of the P-tab thus pushing the tip of the Aneros forward into the prostate for added massage action. With both the Helix & Eupho models it is not necessary (nor really practical) to attempt to insert all the way to the "T" junction.

Upon insertion of your Aneros the proper orientation occurs automatically and naturally. The Aneros are already designed with a forward canted shape to be directed at the prostate, the P-tab assures correct orientation and alignment. Pinpoint accuracy of prostate engagement is NOT necessary. It does NOT require much force or pressure to stimulate the prostate sufficiently to generate the P-Wave phenomenon. As you become more experienced with your massager you will find it requires less and less pressure to generate P-waves, to the point you will be able to generate them without the Aneros present at all.

P.S. I sent you an introductory PM with some additional hints and tips to get you started.

Hi Dyers, I'm 5' 6" on a good day and also started out with the Helix. A couple months later I also tried the SGX and found insertion much easier then the Helix because of the smaller size. I also seemed to respond to that model a little better then the Helix for awhile. Now a year later, my Helix is my preferred model as it does seem to generate stronger sensations for me. My advice would be to give the Helix awhile to work its magic, but don't be afraid to try the SGX if you find you have a tougher time getting comfortable with the Helix. It sounds smaller, but as a rookie it still looked intimidating when I first tried it! 😉

Thanks for the advice. Once I knew that I wasn't supposed to go to the T and just relaxed, it only took about a half hour before I was having a ridiculous superO that lasted all of an hour and a half (with about five waves total). Couldn't believe what was happening and continued convulsing long after I removed the helix...even got a few twitches today at work. The exhaustion/peace afterward is something indescribable.

So I suppose I'm one of the lucky ones...got there on day one. I'm 100% convinced, every man must experience this.

Dyers,

Congratulations, on your early breakthrough Anerosession to the Supert-O. You are indeed a member of the lucky few to experience such success on your initial voyage. I agree with you, "... every man must experience this.", that is why I spend time here attempting to help all those open minded men willing to give this marvelous device a try!

Wow, that is amazing Dyers. Here I was telling you to give it some time and then bam! you join the Super-O club. You are one lucky bastard 😉 If that is day one you have to be sure to share your experiences in the coming weeks and months and what new highs you find yourself experiencing.

I was a little sore today from all of last nights action, but I was really hankering for a second experience and, just thinking about it gave me some involuntaries. I was having mini o's before it was even halfway in and went directly to Super-O once it was all the way in. I only let myself go for a half hour though, because the sensations were getting too intense and I knew my prostate must feel beat at this point. I kept going with the super-o and started stroking the old fashioned way, in time to the contractions, and had the longest, hardest traditional O of my life. The feeling of cumming had to have lasted over two minutes. At that point it was too much and the damn thing had to come out.

It's like I've become immediately rewired or perhaps I'm prewired. Last night was no fluke and it took ZERO warm up this time around. It was impossible to stop.
