I am currently awaiting my first Aneros product, and a thought suddenly struck me. There is a particular product for short men, and while I am the opposite of that (6' 6") I was curious if I would have a similar problem where the product in question may not stimulate the proper areas.
If not, great. If so...bummer.

And welcome to the Aneros forum!
The SGX model is the only one that I'm aware of that is recommended for men 5'6" in height or shorter. From my readings here in the forum, there are quite a number of tall men here that successfully use the other models. I'm sure they will chime in with their responses. So no, as far as I am aware, your height shouldn't be an issue assuming you did not purchase the SGX.

I am 6' 6" and have all the models plus peridise and all the n joy models. All work for me, but the best are the helix, progasm and eupho. All of the peridises work great and the small and medium phun plugs from n joy are the best. Worst performance was from the MGX . . . I can get it to work but it takes alot.
