First time with Aneros, opinions?

I just finished playing with my Aneros for the first time. It is a Progasm Ice (I realize I could've gone with a smaller model first but I will see where this takes me) . I used a condom on it with Astroglide under the condom and Astroglide + Vaseline outside the condom. After getting comfortable, the size of the Progasm didn't seem uncomfortable and it seemed to move pretty well considering the size. The K-tab might be limiting the movement a little so perhaps I'll adjust it's location using my heat gun, but I'll keep it stock for a bit here. After getting used to it, I was getting some nice feelings of fullness and pressure around my prostate and it ramped up my arousal alot. I alternated between laying on my back, side and butt in the air, all felt nice in different ways. At times I would be fantasizing and get very aroused, I would tremble a little and feel a strong urge to ejaculate (I was pretty soft at this point though). Does this indicate I may be working towards a hands-free wet orgasm instead or can the build up to a dry orgasm feel that way too?

To answer your question first:
What you're feeling could be a buildup to a dry-o of some type. I've never had a wet orgasm with an aneros so I don't know what it feels like. But, my dry-o's have been accompanied by urges to ejaculate without erection.
I am puzzled as to why you used a condom with the aneros. And, I can't imagine why you put lube inside the condom. Using lube in a condom when the condom is on your penis makes some sense, but with an aneros it doesn't. Maybe I'm missing something. If I were you, I'd skip the condom altogether though.

A few words of advice:
-Browse the posts on the forum. Many are very helpful.
-Don't expect anything to happen when you use your aneros. The best feelings come as a surprise.
-Enjoy any feelings you get; don't expect or wish for more. If they are destined to come, they will.
-It can take many sessions for your body to figure out what to do with this new toy. Give it time to figure things out.

Thank you for the reply. I used the condom because I read some members here saying that in increases the mobility of the Aneros and the lube inside the condoms can't really dry out or absorb as on the outside. It felt like it was moving well.

Hello Mogal, 🙂

I unable answer your question from not having experienced that. But I will support dtmsmith's post that the condom is not necessary. A well lubed Aneros will move freely. Also, seeing that you use Astroglide, you may want to read in the Aneros WIKI about the associated problems that some men experience with water based lubes that contain glycerin.

Getting Started - Aneros Wiki

Astroglide was the first lube I used with my Aneros. And over time I realized that it was causing what we here call "the urge to purge"(it makes you have to poop), and an uncomfortable burning sensation in my inner anus sphincter. There is lot's of different lubes that do not contain glycerin. My preference is unrefined 100% shea butter of the pale yellow to white colored variety. If you feel the need to inform yourself, use the search function in the forum and you will find many threads about different types of lubes.

Yeah, "condom-lube" can really increase mobility and provide an extended session since one does not absorb the lube via the rectal wall. For those who shun glycerin lube it becomes an OK-thing as the "inner-lube" inside the condom. It can give the Aneros a cool "squirm factor" that's difficult to meet with even the finest of anal lubes and a bare Aneros. (sort of giving an Eupho 'tickle' to a Helix or MGX.)

And, if you choose an inexpensive, heavily textured condom (ones advertised to 'turn her on') the ridges can really light up your whole canal. The ring around the base of the condom also provides a nice anus tickle.

I've not tried this with Progasm or Maximus but "normal" sized condoms have worked fine with SGX, MGX, Eupho and Helix. Progasm or Maximus might work better with "Magnum" sized (Euro #4 I believe) condoms.

Tips --
+ don't over lube, lest a heavy involuntary contraction or orgasmic clench cause a massive spurt.
+ get all the air out. 'burping is poor form' 🙁
+ the condom shouldn't be stretched over the Aneros. just unroll it, squirt in a bit of lube and slide the tool in. the ring should be loose around the stem of the tool.
+ a light coating of shea butter on the exterior of the condom works for me.
+ avoid flavored condoms (believe me, Mango flavor in your bloodstream can be distracting.)

enjoy

Hi Love_is
When you used shea butter, you used it along or in combination with other lube,I use shea butter with my progasm, but I found out that after awhile I feel like is dry, I take it off and yes I found out my progasm is dry, so I put another coat of shea butter and it happened again, do you know what I'm doing wrong. Also, when I feel inside my progasm is getting dry I feel some kind of disconfort when I do my pc contractions, I feel like I'm rubbing my prostate with no lube at all, so what I do is, I put instead a coat of Probe lube and feels better my progasm and more mobile, any advise of how to use better way the shea butter, I like this stuff, but maybe I not handling the wright way, your advise will be appreciate, Also, I will experimenting with castor oil soon.
Thank you

golman;
When you are using Probe lube, are you injecting it? Using 1-2 shots from something like a Lube Shooter should do the trick, but before injecting lube, first put something like Vaseline or Shea Butter or the like on your finger, and push/rub it into your anus and around the opening to make inserting the lube easier, then put some on the tip of the Aneros or rub a little all over the head of the Aneros before inserting.

Hello golman, 🙂

I use only shea butter for my Aneros sessions for an anal lube. What I've found is that some shea butters are too thin when melted at body temperature, particularly dark yellow, and possibly beige shea butters. Look for unrefined 100% shea butters that are pale yellow to white in color. My preference is Now Foods shea butter. How I use it: I insert one or two small chunks with a finger in my anus and push up into my rectum so that the anal canal and rectum gets lubricated. Then I spread one small chunk on my Aneros, then insert it. For further information please read the main shea butter thread:

Hi Badger,
Thank you for input, I was injecting half of the lube shooter maybe this I what it caused that progasm to be dry, 2 shoots of lube is ok?, what happened that I was using before k-y lube and this lube me feel like I was urge go to bathroom, so I stopped this lube instead I'm trying shea butter and combination with probe lube and soon I will try with castor oil, so but I don't want to overdue but injecting too much lube, so how much is enough, without having inside dry, when I used shea butter I did put a heavy coat, but maybe I injected very little lube inside, when I feel dry my progasm inside and pulled out, and yes I found it dry and signs that the progasm was rubbing dried against my prostate ans causing some kind of disconfort, using a condom with my progasm will or may help? I started my journey to the Big O's not too long ago, I did not achieved any yet, but I'm devoted trying every time and avery aneros session I have, doing this is great new experience and adventure, reading from experienced guys on this blog and learning all the tricks and good advices, that eventually I will reach the goal, the Big O's. Any other valuable advice of your own will be greatly appreciate. Thank you again.

Hi Love_is,
I got my shea butter from afrikanrepublic.com and according to the can it say unrefined, good deal anyway, do you think I need to get the nowfoods a better shea butter, the afrikan republic shea butter is thick and takes time to melted, what I do I put some probe lube inside and than I put a nice coat of the shea butter, but after awhile I felt inside that my progasm is dry, also a felt that there is no mobility, so I remove my progasm and yes I found out that is dry and saw signs of no shea butter on it, plus I feel some kind of disconfort when my progasm is rubbing inside against my prostate when I do my pc contractions, I know shea butter melted, but does not stay put to the progasm, because I saw no shea butter left on it, maybe progasm is to shine or too slippery that it not hold well the shea butter or my shea butter is different, I can try also nowfoods shea butter no problem I just want to try with right stuff, you think wrapping my progasm with a condom may help or improve? Soon I will experiment with castor oil too, any other advice of your own will be appreciate, thx.

I found out that Probe has some glycerine and castor oil also has a laxative effect, so I would be cautious there. Putting it in deep enough to lubricate the Aneros is important; the anus wipes off most of the lube put on the Aneros during insertion, which is why your buttox is wet and slippery after implantation. With lubes that lack glycerine, you shouldn't have a problem with how much you put in, it will just make it more slippery until it moves above the rectum, where some waste can slip in and contaminate the lube, losing its effectiveness.

Hello golman, 🙂

Before you give up on the shea butter you bought, try having an Aneros session and insert two chunks of shea butter roughly one or two centimeters in diameter into your rectum. Make sure you push it all the way in. And then give your Aneros a thin to moderate coating of Shea butter, insert, and see how that performs during the session. Otherwise, see the following:

From having a look at the afrikanrepublic.com web site, it appears that the shea butter they sell is a rich to dark yellow in color. I've tried this sort of shea butter before in the Skye Botanicals brand, and found it to be much to thin when melted at body temperature. And thus didn't lubricate as well and I found that I dried out internally from what I'd guess to be the rectum absorbing it easier since it is thinner in consistency at body temperature. Another area where I think you may have run into problems is injecting yourself with Probe Thick & Rich. Like Badger said, Probe has glycerin in it, so you may get the urge to move your bowels after injecting it. (What we call the “urge to purge” effect.) Or even possibly a burning sensation on your inner anal sphincter. But also, because it is water based, it may be absorb rather quickly. Thus leaving your rectum dried out. You also have to understand that no matter what lube you coat the Aneros with, the majority of it will not be pushed into the rectum. Most of it will be wiped off by the two anal sphincter muscles during insertion. Thus showing the importance for making sure the rectum is properly pre-lubed.

I recommend that if you want to give unrefined 100% shea butter a fair chance as an anal lubricant, that you try the Now Foods brand. If you can't find it locally, there are many places on the Internet that sell it.

Hi Love_is,
Probably it make sense what you pointed out, what I would I do I will order a bottle of now foods shea butter unrefined and give one more try again, does it matters the presentation of the bottle? I did search for nowfoods unrefined shea butter, but I found a different presentations, but bottle says unrefined shea butter and is from now foods, sometimes we get confused with some brands and makers that we think you are buying the right stuff until you try You right, my shea butter it gets melted sort of fast when inside rectum, maybe this caused to dry my progasm fast and the anal canal as well, I will try inserting two chunks of shea butter inside rectum by fingers, sometimes maneuvering with bare fingers it tends to melt fast too I saw that they melted at the entrance of anus making some kind of difficult to insert it inside, any suggestion of how to insert them, you think condom will help some how? With the prolube I don't feel much the "urge to purge" effect that it was when I used K-Y, prolube I guess is more gentile and so far I not feel the urge to toilet. Also, I will try with grape seed oil too, perhaps its more natural.

I believe that Now Foods changed the packaging somewhat recently. All my previous jars were the purple plastic with gray lid. My most recent purchase of two jars came in a white plastic jar and lid with a different looking label. It's the same good shea butter though. Oddly enough, the Now Foods page for their shea butter still shows the purple jar.
NOW Foods - Shea Butter - 7 oz.

I will try inserting two chunks of shea butter inside rectum by fingers, sometimes maneuvering with bare fingers it tends to melt fast too I saw that they melted at the entrance of anus making some kind of difficult to insert it inside, any suggestion of how to insert them

Shea butter starts to melt around 76F/24.4C. So if your ambient room temperature is around there or higher, I recommend you store your shea butter in the refrigerator. This keeps the shea butter hard. I do this in the summer months, and in the winter store it outside of the refrigerator when indoor temperatures are lower. Then use a small spoon to scoop out some chunks. This will make insertion of the shea butter chunks much easier, as they won't melt so quickly and make a mess before they are even inserted.

you think condom will help some how?

I've never tried it. But I personally don't think it is necessary and is a waste of money and resources. The Aneros works just fine with a good lube.

Hi Love_is
You are always helpful, I'm ordering a can of the now foods shea butter you recommend, I will let you know the results, I'm excited to try this brand shea butter, that this shea butter help you a lot in order to achieved your goal, compared to a previous lubes oils, please tell a little more about the response that you have with kind of shea butter that you tryied. I'm still working devoted to achieved my goal, I started not too long ago, still did not feel the big O's, but keep trying, also I'm learning a lot from you experienced guys, hope I will soon meet my and encounter my heaven on earth sort of speak. You right condom sometimes makes it difficult, I tried before with my progasm and helix but for some reason does not work and I don't feel confortable, I prefer a naked and bare lubed aneros. Also, want to mentioned that the progasm ant the end bulbs heads due to the sort of fine tip sometimes it feel a little bit disconfort when you apply your pc contractions against your prostate, you think aneros ice is a better version of progasm with more rounded less sharp end and better polished? maybe manufacturer of aneros can take this into consideration, probably a less sharp end bulbos heads it will performed and stimulated better the prostate gland without much of disconfort. My last, any suggestion for a better position or special trick of your own to achieve the big O's? I will keeping you posted. Thx...
