I'm actually pretty excited that I received my aneros last week (the original, nothing fancy yet) and I've already had some very interesting sensations 😀 and a general "awareness" of the differences between prostate and direct stimulation. I've moved it around a bit during play to get a better awareness of my prostate. One thing that I may be completely unfounded in worrying over is perforated colon. Is this even possible with the device? Obviously I'm still getting used to this and I've been experimenting with different lubes such as wet platinum and water-based products. Just curious if I needed to be taking precautions or if I'm A-OK. I assume I would know if I was in any trouble but I thought to take this to the intarweb for a general consensus. thanks for humoring me!

Rusty,

I’ve personally been using an Aneros regularly for nearly two years now with absolutely no problems (except a little soreness from being stretched by use of the Progasm from long sessions). If you use your Aneros, hands free and without contact with furniture, floors or walls, there is extremely little likelihood that you could do yourself any harm, much less puncture your rectum or colon. I have read most of the posts on this Forum and have not come across any reports of the rectum being punctured or torn by use of these massagers.
I believe it is nearly impossible to perforate the rectum with one of these massagers when used properly and with adequate lubrication.
