Questions questions questions. Hey I'm new here but I have red a lot of wiki and other threads. But still more questions or is it affirmation I'm looking for?

I'm four months into my journey and while I feel I'm progressing well I fear there are many forks in the road some leading to dead ends. So your thoughts would be welcomed.

Fantasy – By nature I'm not a horny guy, my mood is very level, neither overly up or down. Some may even say I'm boring. If wasn't for my sense of humour I probably would have no friends and my marriage may not have lasted the 18 years it has so far. I rarely fantasise about sex and I understand very little about my arousal. If my wife wants sex, she gets it. If I want sex, I wait until she wants it, luckily this isn't usually too long. Any fantasy that I may have to conjure up would involve the female form and eventually my penis being involved at some point. Now, we newbie's are informed that any touching of the penis is strongly discouraged in the search for the super-O, and not wanting to muck up any rewiring or start up any hands free traditional-Os I'm trying to work out a way of building my arousal without thinking about some action for my penis whilst having a piece of plastic stuck up my arse. A big ask for a hetro bloke I can tell you! So the question is, whilst no touching is allowed, what about fantasy and visualisation?

Visualisation and imagination? - I've heard it on the HypnAerosessions and read about it in theses forums. Visualising my prostrate being a glowing ember or pulsing with anticipation. One poster who's name I can't remember uses the imagined sound of a revving engine as a form of arousal. Visualisation of my prostate I find difficult, I've never seen one and from my understanding it's a small gland with several pipes coming out of it and it's only millimetres from being in the shit. Not very sexy! I find the octopus a sexy animal, I'm not into bestiality, but the octopus is a powerful, intelligent and with all those tentacles and the slippery skin, I imagine its my prostate, slowly woken by the gentle brushing of my Progasm, as it wakes it wraps its tentacles around the Progasm and starts to give it a good rogering. Am I too weird to be on this forum?

Physical feelings – After I've fully relaxed and I've started some small contractions I get what I could only describe as a fluttering which causes the Progasm to dance about. Are these what is commonly called involuntary contractions? They feel good, but are not overly powerful or rhythmic. The don't tend to build or lead to anything much. I can keep these going for some time by just adding a little extra contraction and eventually the tension is ratcheted up to the point where it is too much and they go away never to return. I've found that when I release all tension and relax, I can feel a very slight tickle, maybe even an itch. If I focus on this, I can feel a brushing sensation. I think I'm adding some movement but it may be imagined, it's so minute it's very hard to focus, my mind will wander and I lose it. 🙄 If I can keep focused the sensation starts to build and warm feeling fills my groin area, once it built up to point when I though I'd had a small orgasm. This startled me and the feelings instantly disappeared. Am I on the right track?

Comments from experts will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
SkyWalker

Sky_Walker,

If you've read through the WIKI you know that fantasy and visualization can be some of the most potent sources of arousal that we have at our disposal. I like to say that this kind of mental focus will often enable your body to do things that would be difficult to cognitively coordinate. With respect to your fantasy with the octopus, I find that very interesting. You see I too have always held a fascination for octopi, but it's been more of an attraction-repulsion thing. Like something that's so bizarre that I'm drawn to it. It's been this way since I was child. I'm glad to you hear that you see the beauty in these creatures and that this works for you.

Another, animal form that I've used in the past myself is a female-serpentine hybrid. Almost like the mythical Lamia (without the demonic context). In a way this put an animal form to the Kundalini energy within. I've often visualize her coiled and lovingly caressing my prostate.

But btw. while it is suggested that physical stimulation of the penis is to be avoided, this does not necessarily make visualization that is penile centered off limits. There are many users that have visualized themselves ejaculating and found this quite helpful. I myself have used this from time to time. Since most of your fantasies already involve penile stimulation, try working with this. This is certainly less abstract than focusing on ones prostate. It should be said however, that this approach has been a dead end for some folks, who've actually have found themselves ejaculating! Of course there's only one way to know for sure. This is where you own exploration comes in. Play with it and have fun!

Cheers,

BF Mayfield

Sky_Walker,

First, in regards to your libido, have you had your testosterone levels checked, it may be you suffer from a low hormone condition. Diet can play a part in this and many men have found high dosages of omega-3 fish oil beneficial to increasing arousal levels and facilitating orgasmic responses.

Second, in regards to fantasy, IMHO, any fantasy you have is OK. It is only a fantasy, not reality, fantasies are the imaginary flights into experiences we are curious about but know they are not possible or are potentially harmful for us so we don’t pursue them in reality. I believe they serve the purpose of keeping our ever creative minds entertained, so go ahead and indulge yourself with them. The octopus as a metaphor for your prostate, is a delightful, sensual image, with its tentacles reaching out to tickle your testicles, penis, anus and most importantly your brain. You are certainly not too weird to be on this Forum. The octopus has many sensual physical qualities that you can draw upon in your imaginings, so I think you should use them as you wish.

Third, the “Physical feelings – After I've fully relaxed and I've started some small contractions I get what I could only describe as a fluttering which causes the Progasm to dance about. Are these what is commonly called involuntary contractions?”
Yes, those are the beginnings.
“They feel good, but are not overly powerful or rhythmic. The don't tend to build or lead to anything much.” You may need to be a bit more patient for them to build further, as they can come in cycles with some quieter moments in between.
“I can keep these going for some time by just adding a little extra contraction and eventually the tension is ratcheted up to the point where it is too much and they go away never to return.” Yes this will frequently occur when you are “trying” to make something happen.
“I've found that when I release all tension and relax, I can feel a very slight tickle, maybe even an itch. If I focus on this, I can feel a brushing sensation. I think I'm adding some movement but it may be imagined, it's so minute it's very hard to focus, my mind will wander and I lose it. If I can keep focused the sensation starts to build and warm feeling fills my groin area, once it built up to point when I though I'd had a small orgasm. This startled me and the feelings instantly disappeared. Am I on the right track?” Yes, this is a good direction to be pursuing, it is the subtle sensations that will gradually build to from small ripple P-waves whch grow into larger surfing P-waves which can then lead into tsunami Super-O P-waves.

Hi again SkyWalker

Not an "expert", a fellow journeyman on the way, here with some thoughts anyway. Another great post on your part.

EDIT: This was begun before BFM or rumel had replied and had interruptions meant that it took quite awhile to complete and post. Rest assured you are in great hands with these two experts!

Starting with your "Physical feelings", I would say YES, you are on a good track, and the detail of your observations is one of the signals, as well as what you are feeling. There is no "right track". Everyone comes to this with their own unique background experiences, many of which condition the kind of journey they will have with Aneros. Patience, "no expectations", relaxing deeply and listening to your body and its faint signals, being key parts of the mantra here.

You say: "I get what I could only describe as a fluttering which causes the Progasm to dance about. "That is excellent. See "butt flutters" in the Wiki Glossary. And "involuntaries" etc. too! http://wiki.malegspot.com/index.php?title=Glossary

So too is your term "brushing", which some report related to other treasures safely behind/outside the rectal muscle wall. The root of your penis is right there too, below your prostate, closer to your inner anal sphincter, and has been reported as having a "bristly" sensation from the moving aneros. Dr. Cowper's Gland is between the penis root and the prostate, and the seminal vesicles are in the neighbourhood too. They can all generate a reaction at times in some people too. Could be the "itch"... or that is one of the initial responses at your prostate, or the nerves complex associated with it.

"mind will wander", eh?! Butt, look what happened when it didn't! Involuntaries, spreading orgasmic energies, P-wave maybe, and a mini-O!!! Congratulations SkyWalker!

The "instant disappearing" is just part of early stages in rewiring. Some people have other issues in life that act as "mind noise" and distract attention from these early subtle events easily. At the Key Sound Multiple Orgasm site (KSMO www.multiples.com ) we refer to these as "mental furballs" and there are suggestions on that site for dealing with them. Quite a few Aneros practioners also practice KSMO. They are very complementary practices.

KSMO may be a good answer to your initial question about non-penis/erection-focused arousal techniques, because that is part of what KSMO is. It can be far superior to fantasy, rich as that is. On the other hand, your imaginative visualization of the prostate/octopus is excellent: funny, animated, energetic, apropos and not the least bit weird on this forum! 😆

Look at skeeter_g's avatar image of the green apple grasped by fingers. I have liked it because that is how my prostate "feels" when I am having it work at "polishing the knob" of my MGX, and other visualizations I have found as effective triggers for "anerosless" sessions. Your octopus is a wonderful evocation that may pay endless dividend for you as you progress! Maybe you are actually "ReefWalker"! 😉

all the best onward for you and Mrs. SkyWalker

Thank you very much gentlemen for you detailed replies. I can now go and practice knowing I'm not heading off on the wrong path, I understand that everybody's responses to the Aneros are different and that each session may be different from others I may have had.

Rumel, I think my libido is fine, my wife and I engage in intercourse on average about 3 times a week, I Love making love and always look forward to our next encounter, I guess I'm always ready to go and never find the need to arouse myself, just the hint of possible action from my wife and its on. So I guess what I'm saying is, that having to arouse myself using fantasy is something I'm not used to. But even in my younger years, guys I knew were clambering over each other to get their dicks wet and getting all hot and bothered when I was not even considering bedding a woman. I put this down to just being a patient person, but I think I was either oblivious to my feelings or I just redirected any drive I had into other pursuits. As far as orgasmic response goes I very rarely had any trouble achieving orgasm, quite the contrary, I've had more problems delaying it, when I was a youngster I inadvertently trained myself not to come until my partner (imagined or real) had. The problem was that when I met my soon to be wife she was so orgasmic that I almost succumbed to some sort of performance anxiety. I counteracted that by believing that if I had full control of my orgasms it would become boring and mechanical.
This KSMO sounds interesting, I may have to look that up!

sky walker-

you are right on target and your octopus fantasy is beautiful.

if you need to, you can add a little penis stim in, but don't do it in a way that mimicks intercourse or masturbation. perhaps just hold a finger on your corona.

as b. mayfield suggests you can think all you want about penis stimulation. you just need to avoid the ejaculatory pathway.

I totally get the octopus thing. I had a session with the Maximus Trident last night, and my prostate was quivering with my rectal canal and sphincter undulating the way an octopus or jellyfish does to propel itself through the water.
It was one of the most interesting sensations I’ve ever felt. Didn’t get to the Super-O, but was definitely a firm step on the path to it.
