So I'd like to start off by saying I've been at this for probably a year now with now results, of course until last night. A week ago I found out the best way to make this work is to do nothing, just lie there and relax. Well the best time for me to do that is when i go to sleep, so i figured "Hey, why not." so i laid in bed almost falling asleep for about 2 to 3 hours drifting in and out when i started to feel a build up, not like a pressure or anything but really just a buzz or glow around pelvic area, legs, then eventually body. This lead to nothing, i got frustrated because i needed to sleep and things didn't happen. The second time, last night, was different. That previous feeling didn't come, at least not intense enough for me to notice, but I believe i had a dry orgasm. Leading up to it I didn't really feel anything, just slight tingling and pressure here and there, but as i was drifting off I was awoken by a feeling of "pulling". The pull was on my lower back, after that there was a slight very pinpoint pressure on my prostate that felt like it would lead to a "pop" along with building warmth in my pelvic area. Instead of a pop I had a wave of skin "rising" go through my entire body followed by waves of intensifying pleasure. It went on for about 2 to 3 minutes then faded away. I spent some time trying to bring it back, about an hour or so, and i felt pressure build but nothing came from it. Probably because i was thinking about it and trying to make it happen. The pleasure was not earth shattering but was much much different and very awesome. So my question is was it a Dry Orgasm, or "mini o"?

I think it was a precursor for an up and coming super O. Pleasure waves for 2 to 3 minutes sounds wonderful and are a sign of greater things to come....As you relax more these faint feeling will get stronger and stronger until you hit something that you will know is for sure a super O.

Glad to see im on the right track, Is there any advice for being able to this 1) without trying to fall asleep and 2) quicker? I spent 2 to 3 hours getting to that point, and spent a LONG while after trying to bring it back.

You might find this post interesting Falling Asleep .
I have all my sessions at night and often fall asleep. Its clear your body is capable of producing dry-o's without too much coercion now. While "trying to make it happen" might be a recipe for disaster, focusing on the sensations and staying awake while still that relaxed could get you 'there' quicker.
If I think I'm going to fall asleep during a session I'll pick a comfortable aneros model and accept its going to be a relaxed (possibly short) session. When I want to stay up however I'll drink half a can of full sugar coke. Also if i breathe deep with no pause between inhaling and exhaling it keeps me awake without being a huge distraction.

That sounds like mini-O indeed or if you are into more precise labeling: a "calm seas orgasm".

The usual stuff, which is of often ignored (because it takes time hence can get dull and boring):

  • do kegels on a regular basis
  • try to sense and control your different pelvic muscles individually
  • [!]get familiar with being in trance (classic tools for that are guided meditation and hypnosis)
  • [!]get familiar with the kundalini & chakra model (don't take esoteric tutorials literally, but regard it as visualization tool)
  • read Barbaras terrific book Urban Tantra (it's packed with different exercises)
  • [optional] read about the ideas and clues other members shared about the different types of orgasms, like my post
  • [optional] read the cherry picks
  • [optional] consider trying KSMO

*[!] = probably most helpful for you right now
*[optional] = long reads but worth it

So after some practice i was able to achieve more, i spent some time, about an hour or so, and i started to feel a build. It was like being tickled from the inside. It felt very nice as my whole body began to felt it towards the end. Unfortunately i was interrupted by my wife. I did feel a build coming on that i knew would lead to something bigger but like i said i was interrupted.
